Chapter 77: Chapter 77: Kaelira

A silhouette appeared inside the summoning circle.

It was unmistakably feminine.

But unlike Veyra, whose appearance was relatively familiar despite her monstrous strength, this woman immediately gave off the presence of a warrior.

She was tall.

Standing nearly three meters in height, the woman towered over ordinary humans, yet her proportions remained remarkably graceful.

Her body was clearly built for combat, possessing broad shoulders, a narrow waist, powerful arms, and long, muscular legs. Every movement she made carried a natural sense of strength and balance, as though her body had been perfected for close-quarters combat.

Ragnar stared at her in surprise.

He had expected the gacha to summon something else, but the creature standing before him was unlike anything he had encountered in the dungeon so far.

She did not have horns.

There were no demonic markings on her forehead, nor did she possess the characteristics of a demon. Instead, several portions of her crimson skin were covered by smooth black scales that naturally formed armor around her body.

The scales covered her shoulders, outer arms, sides, thighs, and parts of her back, creating a pattern that looked almost like battle armor.

Along her spine was a row of short black spikes.

They started at the base of her neck and continued down toward her lower back, gradually becoming smaller until they disappeared beneath the armor-like scales around her waist.

Her face was beautiful, but there was something intimidating about it.

She possessed sharp and elegant features, crimson lips, and golden eyes with narrow vertical pupils. Her long black hair flowed down her back, reaching well past her waist, with several crimson strands running through it like streaks of fire.

Unlike a demon, she had no wings or tail.

Yet the pressure radiating from her body was enough to make the entire throne room feel heavier.

Ragnar’s eyes narrowed.

He could feel it, this woman was strong.

The system window appeared before him.

[Subordinate Gacha Result]

[Name: Kaelira]

[Race: Crimson Scaled Valkra]

[Classification: High-Rank Monster]

[Level: 35]

[Potential: Extremely High]

[Combat Type: Warrior]

[Attributes: Physical Strength, Speed, Durability]

[Skills:

[Crimson Blood Manipulation]

[Dragon-Scale Body]

[Warrior’s Instinct]

[Blood Frenzy]

[Crimson Impact]

[Regeneration]

Ragnar stared at the system window.

"Level 35?"

His eyes widened slightly.

He had only recently reached Level 27 himself, yet the subordinate summoned by the gacha was already Level 35.

More importantly, the system had classified her as a High-Rank Monster.

Ragnar slowly looked at Kaelira again.

Now that he knew her level, the oppressive feeling coming from her body made much more sense.

Kaelira stood silently before him, her golden eyes calmly observing her surroundings. She did not appear confused by her new environment. Instead, she seemed to immediately understand that she had been summoned into the dungeon.

After a few seconds, she lowered herself onto one knee.

"My lord."

Her voice was deep and calm, carrying an unusual mixture of strength and elegance.

Ragnar blinked.

"Welcome to my dungeon."

His attention returned to the skill list.

The first skill immediately caught his attention.

[Crimson Blood Manipulation]

[The user possesses complete control over her own blood and can manipulate the blood of other living creatures within a limited range.]

[The user can transform blood into weapons, tendrils, blades, spikes, armor, and other forms according to her will.]

[The effectiveness of the skill increases according to the user’s physical strength, blood quantity, and mastery.]

Ragnar slowly raised an eyebrow.

"You can control your own blood and the blood of other creatures?"

Kaelira remained kneeling.

"Yes, my lord."

"How far can you control someone else’s blood?"

Kaelira considered the question for a moment before answering.

"That depends on the strength of the target. Against ordinary creatures, I can control their blood from a considerable distance. Against stronger opponents, however, forcing complete control over their bodies would be considerably more difficult."

Ragnar nodded thoughtfully.

"So you can’t simply control anyone you want."

"No."

Kaelira raised her head slightly.

"If the opponent possesses enough physical strength or magical resistance, I would first need to injure them. Once their blood leaves their body, however, controlling it becomes much easier."

Ragnar’s eyes brightened.

"So the blood doesn’t necessarily have to remain inside their body."

"Correct."

Kaelira extended one hand.

A thin crimson thread slowly emerged from the tip of her finger.

The thread moved like a living creature, twisting around her wrist before forming into a small, razor-sharp blade.

"This blood belongs to me. I can harden it, shape it, and manipulate it freely."

The thin crimson blade slowly dissolved back into liquid before flowing across Kaelira’s palm and disappearing beneath her skin.

Ragnar watched the entire process with interest.

That ability alone was already considerably more versatile than he had expected. She could turn her own blood into weapons, manipulate it with precision, and apparently use the blood of her enemies against them. For a close-combat warrior, it was an extremely dangerous ability.

Ragnar looked back at the system window.

"Show me the rest."

The system responded immediately.

[Dragon-Scale Body]

[The user’s body possesses powerful crimson scales that provide exceptional physical defense.]

[Greatly increases resistance to physical attacks, heat, and impact.]

[Scales can harden further through the user’s energy.]

Ragnar glanced at the black scales covering Kaelira’s body.

"So those aren’t just armor."

"No, my lord."

Kaelira reached toward one of the scales covering her forearm and lightly tapped it with a finger.

"They are part of my body. They become harder when I reinforce them with my power."

Ragnar nodded.

"Useful for someone who fights at close range."

Ragnar continued reading.

[Warrior’s Instinct]

[Enhances the user’s perception, reaction speed, combat awareness, and ability to detect hostile intent.]

[Allows the user to instinctively identify openings and weaknesses during battle.]

Ragnar’s expression became more interested.

[Blood Frenzy]

[The user’s physical strength and speed increase as she sustains injuries or absorbs blood during battle.]

[The effect becomes stronger as the battle continues.]

[Excessive activation may cause heightened aggression.]

Ragnar paused.

His eyes moved back to the final sentence.

"That sounds dangerous."

Kaelira remained calm.

"It is."

She did not attempt to hide the danger.

"If I allow myself to become completely consumed by Blood Frenzy, my fighting instincts can overwhelm my reason. I can still recognize friend from foe, but my desire to continue fighting becomes increasingly difficult to suppress."
