Chapter 2629: High God Of Adaptation.

Any god can create an authority with their innate talent and some sacrificed power, but very few gods can create an authority that is capable of creating a high god. After all, not every god has the complete power of four pathways to sacrifice into their innate authority.

So Legion went from being a godling to becoming a god and becoming a high god all in one hour. This didn’t shock them because it felt normal to them. In fact, they felt that they deserved it for experiencing all the pain that they went through in order to bring their power to the past.

As they advanced to become the high god of adaptation, their divine body, their divine soul, and the authority of Adaptation fused into one existence. This existence reminded them of the existence of a high god.

It made Legion-2 say in understanding, “No wonder high gods can resurrect after death as long as their pathway exists. They have become one with their pathway in the same way that origin gods have fused with their concept.”

Legion-3 nodded in agreement and said, “The only difference is that the void universe is the one who resurrects origin god and is responsible for their immortality. But what is the foundation of the immortality of high gods?”

Legion-6 shrugged and said, “I guess we will find out after we become supreme gods and reconnect to our origin.”

After becoming a high god, the first thing they did was to check their state of existence.

Their existence has changed drastically, even when compared to when they were gods. Not only have their divine body and divine souls fused into one, but they have also grown many times stronger than they were as gods.

The power of their divine body and divine soul was 40,960 an hour ago when they were still godlings. But after they became the god of three pathways and the high god of the pathway of adaptation, their raw power soared to 1,853,440 units.

Out of these 1,853,440 units of raw power, the pathway of slavery is still at the godling level so it grants them only 10,240 worth of power. This is only worth 0.55% of their total power.

The pathway of killing, the pathway of telepathy, and the pathway of undying all grant Legion power that is equal to (10,240 × 12 Souls) each, which is 122,880 units each. This makes for a total of 368,640 units so, 19.9% of their total raw power.

The bulk of their raw power comes from the pathway of adaptation, which granted them power that is equal to (10,240 × 12 × 12), which is 1,474,560. This is worth 79.56% of their total raw power.

A normal high god with 10 souls will have a total raw power of 1,024,000. They gain 450,560 or 30.56% more power than this from the pathway of adaptation simply because they have two more souls to hold their power.

But there is also the power from their four main pathways. Once they become high gods in all four of them, their raw power will at least triple.

At the end of the day, a god with ten souls that becomes a high god in seven pathways will still have less raw power than them once they become a high god of five pathways. This is because of the difference of two extra souls.

Of course, it is not possible for any god to become a high god in seven pathways. Even the god of justice, who has a great chance of this, can only become a high god in six pathways. So they will always have an advantage in terms of raw power compared to other gods.

As if that isn’t bad enough, they will also always have an advantage in divinity. This is because they have 12 souls and the opportunity to gain divinity from 13 pathways, while someone like the god of justice can only gain divinity from six pathways, and someone like the god of knowledge can only gain divinity from three pathways.

They can gain divinity from their innate pathway to form the 13th source of divinity for themselves because they were able to sacrifice four authorities to the pathway of adaptation. This isn’t something that other gods can accomplish.

Even if they didn’t have a 13th source of divinity, they would still have 12 sources of divinity, which is double as many as what the god of justice is capable of. When this advantage in divinity is combined with the advantage in raw power, no one will be able to compare with them.

For now, they only have four sources of divinity. This makes for a total of 82,944 units of divinity.

This amount will increase when they advance to become the gods of the pathway of slavery and their 8 adjacent pathways. But for now, this kind of power is already too much for the world to deal with.
