Chapter 2628: Prototype Authority.

After the future Legion fused with the past and current Legion, Legion advanced from being a godling with four pathways into becoming the god of telepathy, the god of undying, and the god of killing.

As for being the god of slavery, this wasn’t possible right now because they were no longer in possession of the authority of slavery in this current timeline.

At this point, they had yet to acquire the authority of slavery in this timeline, so there was no way that they could become the god of slavery in this timeline.

They advanced to become gods without having to slowly fuse with the authorities in their possession or undergo a lengthy process of advancement and transformation into a god like their future self did, because they have already done all of those things in the future.

This is one of the advantages of fusing with their future self. The other advantage is that they also inherited all the mastery of divine abilities and ultimate abilities from their future self. This particular inheritance is very important to them because all of their rank 10 divine abilities have reached 100% mastery.

Once their rank 10 divine abilities reach mastery of 100%, they can fuse them to create a base template that they will fuse their ultimate abilities into. This is the step they have to take before they can create a supreme authority and use that supreme authority to rejoin with their origin.

The base template will be in the form of a proto-authority. They will need to sacrifice some of their power into it in order to elevate it to the level of the authority of a pathway. Only then can it be the 13th authority for them.

This was information that their future self had bought from the god of knowledge as consolation for being forced into using the Gestalt Mind divine ability. Now that they have the information, they won’t need to go through with the deal with the god of knowledge anymore.

The god of knowledge sold the information to them because he didn’t think they would be able to make use of it. But now Legion is about to do what he didn’t expect, and they are about to achieve it in a way that the god of knowledge never envisioned.

The god of knowledge had advised them to wait until they fuse completely with a pathway and become its high god before they sacrifice their power to elevate the level of the prototype authority. He had advised them to do this because sacrificing their power would weaken them considerably.

The advice of the god of knowledge is good because once they become a high god, they will have surplus power that they won’t be able to use because they will have a limit to their raw power. So instead of letting the extra power go to waste by doing nothing or sharing it with the godclads of their pathway, they can use it to elevate their prototype authority.

But even though Legion can become a high god of the pathway of telepathy since they have already achieved 100% mastery of the Roaming ultimate ability through their future self, they didn’t choose to use that option at all.

The first thing that they did was to create the prototype authority. This was very easy for them to do.

Actually, it will be easy for any god to transform their rank 10 divine abilities into a prototype authority because they usually have one rank 10 divine ability. So the difficulty is similar to the process of creating a concept with one law.

But even though Legion is fusing four rank 10 divine abilities into one and facing the difficulty of using four laws to create a concept, this was still easy for them to do because these four rank 10 divine abilities came from them, and because they are very experienced in creating concepts.

So it didn’t take them a long time to create a prototype authority. They finished doing it in less than one hour. What they created was the authority of Adaptation.

After the prototype authority was created, it was time to elevate it to the level of an authority. In order to achieve this, they chose to sacrifice most of the power of their future self to the prototype authority.

Their action is even smarter than what the god of knowledge planned because if they didn’t do this, some of the power of their future self would have gone to waste anyway. For example, the divinity that they gained as the god of slavery, the power from the authority of Nobility, the authority of dreams, and the authority of illusion.

They don’t have the authority of the pathway of slavery, the pathway of nobility, and the pathway of illusion in this timeline, so the power from them will go to waste. They also have two authorities of the pathway of dreams, of which one has to disappear.

Instead of letting this wastage happen, they chose to sacrifice all of these things that will disappear into their prototype authority. This made for a total of four authorities. So it didn’t surprise them when their prototype authority not only became an authority but also elevated their state of existence to the level of a high god.

They have already completely mastered the authority of Adaptation, and they were the ones who created it, so they don’t need to fight anyone in order to fuse completely with it. This made their transition into a high god seamless and smooth.

The seamless transition into a high god is something that any god would be able to experience if their innate authority were powerful enough to elevate them to the level of a high god.

So what they experienced isn’t exactly special. But it is unlikely that any god will be able to experience it because it is unlikely that their innate authority will be powerful enough to elevate them to the level of a high god.
