The next slave to arrive was their thief and rule breaker. He was the one that Legion was most excited to meet.
But just as the thief arrived in the town that they were in, Legion felt that danger was approaching. They were in the form of a large ball of worms, but they began receiving a warning from the rank 6 divine ability of the pathway of undying called Danger Sense.
The danger they were sensing was significant, but it wasn’t overwhelming. So they decided to stand and fight.
The first thing they did was to move outside of the town. They went with their legendary slave and even prepared an exit strategy.
They left the town so that the upcoming fight won’t lead to the deaths of the inhabitants of the two. They didn’t leave the town because they cared about the lives of people. In fact, the death of so many people will help them to advance the requirements of the pathway of killing.
But they don’t want so many people to die because it will alert the true owner of this kingdom to their presence. They are not ready for a confrontation with the angel of slavery yet, so they don’t want to alert her.
They left the town together with their legendary noble slave. This way they would have a capable helper that can at least serve as a meat shield for them.

The legendary warrior’s eyes lit up when he saw them. He said with a voice brimming with anger, “You must be the legendary undying that stole my spring of life and the energy water of Reinfield City.”
He didn’t ask if Legion was an undying godclad. He wasn’t even sure that they were an undying godclad, but at this point, he didn’t care about what their identity was.
As long as anyone is working with the thief that they have been tracking, that person is his enemy. So Legion’s identity doesn’t matter much now. Even if they are completely innocent, the warrior will still use them to pay for the theft.
The female legendary noble’s reaction was the opposite of the warrior’s. Instead of showing anger, she smiled at Legion.
