Chapter 2316: Number Series.

Number 1 is a giant and also a guardian. He used to be Golden Hammer. He doesn’t know that for sure anymore, but Legion still makes him pretend to be Golden Hammer in front of others people.

Number 2 is a warrior and illusionist. Number 2 used to be Black Axe. So he stays in the Black and White gang most of the time.

Number 3 is a Walker and a Traveler. Number 4 is a thief and a rule breaker. Number 5 is an dreamer and a gambler. Number 6 is a knight and a farmer. Number 7 is a Machinist and Mage.

These seven slaves are men. The remaining three are women.

Number 8 is an Assassin and Death Walker. She used to be Black Axe’s sister.

Number 9 is a cleric and propagator of justice. She used to be the leader of the Light Temple gang. Now she is both a healer and a spreader of diseases.

Number 10 is a fate weaver and seer. She still has the potential to have one more pathway, but Legion thought that it was best to leave things at two pathways because the process of advancing to the legendary rank is going to be exponentially more difficult if they let her have three pathways.

It is going to be difficult for their slaves to advance to the legendary rank as it is. They thought it safer to make things less difficult, seeing as they might lose her and everything they have invested in her.

Apart from their 10 slaves, they also gained a lot of flesh and blood. They hate all of this flesh and blood and used them to meet their advancement requirements.

The advancement requirement of the pathway of killing was the easiest to meet since all they needed was blood. It didn’t matter where the blood came from. As long as the blood came from a powerful creature, it counted towards their advancement requirement.

The advancement requirement of the pathway of undying was slightly more difficult in that it was tedious. They didn’t have to run around looking for travelers to kill and eat. But they had to produce a lot of epic travelers over and over again before they could meet the advancement requirement.

On the other hand, the advancement requirement of the pathway of slavery was easier even though it needed them to eat flesh from epic godclads too. This was because they had a wide array of choices to pick from.

They could have picked epic godclads from the judge, noble, seer, rule breaker, and thief pathways. After avoiding the judge and noble pathway, they still had three choices to pick from.

They avoided the judge’s pathway because every judge is a snitch for the god of justice. As for the pathway of nobles, they avoided it because they needed a large territory that was under their control in order to produce a rank 4 noble.

The pathway of nobles also has their god. This God might not care that they were raising nobles to enslave or eat them, but they decided not to risk it. This and the tedious work they would need to do to create an epic noble made them decide to avoid this pathway entirely for their project.

That makes three pathways whose advancement requirement they were able to fulfill in a month or less. As for the advancement requirement for the pathway of telepaths, they still haven’t been able to solve it.

They already have a possible plan to meet this difficult advancement requirement. This plan is better than wandering in the spiritual dimension looking for psychic shriekers, but they are not sure it will work yet.

The plan also needs some preparations even for testing. So it will take a while before they can make any progress in this aspect.

In the meantime, Legion went ahead to advance their three pathways to rank 6. After they advanced to rank 6, they gained more raw power in the form of spiritual power and physical power. They also gained three more divine abilities and even more spiritual energy to use them.

After advancing to rank 4, their physical power and spiritual power doubled. Physical power like strength, speed, and constitution increased from 160 units to 320 units, while Spiritual Power increased from 320 units to 640 units after they digested a lot of energy water.

Since they only advanced three of their four pathways to rank 6, the increase to their spiritual energy and life energy capacity is 75%, not 100%.

Aside from these increases to their raw power, they also gained three new divine abilities to use their raw power for. All three divine abilities are great, but the one divine ability that they were most excited to get is the rank 6 divine ability of killers called Bloodthirsty.
