Chapter 2301: Battle Begins.

The existence of the rank 3 Armor divine ability is also why the noble didn’t bother to wear armor. It is because any armor that he wears will either be very heavy and tiring for him.

He doesn’t have a divine ability to help him have a strong but light armor. So he has to choose between an armor that is very strong but too heavy or an armor that is light but useless in protecting him because it isn’t strong enough.

Rather than wear armor that could either be useless or slow him down, the noble decided to forgo the armor completely and try his best not to place himself in a dangerous situation that requires armor for protection.

This is why the noble had decided that when the armies begins to move to do battle, he will stand his ground and not move forward to continue to lead his army.

It is a decision that he has made his mind up about because of the way that Isaac was glaring at him from across the battlefield.

He could tell that if he didn’t hide, Isaac would come for him immediately and he would likely be killed. This is not some baseless speculation. It is what has happened in every battle.

Isaac is always coming for his head. It is the fact that he acts as a backseat general who commands his troops but doesn’t fight with them that has allowed him to live for so long. Unfortunately, this has also led to the numerous defeats of his army.

Without someone to hold Isaac back, the judge can go on a rampage. The noble knows this, and even though he doesn’t like it, he can accept the defeats more than he can accept his death.

The two armies stood on the battlefield staring death at each other. They wished to tear each other apart and couldn’t wait to do so. Fortunately, the time to do that came very quickly.

When the battle was about to start, trumpets rang out on both sides. Then drums were beaten as the two armies began to advance on each other.

The beating drums caused Commander Isaac’s heartbeat to slow down immensely. His heart had been beating wildly in preparation for the battle. But when the battle started and the drums began to beat, his heart beat began to sync with the beat of the drum, which caused it to slow down.

He wasn’t the only one whose heart synchronized with the beat of the drum. Every knight had their heart beat in turn with the drums. This made them of one heart.

Being of one heart made it very easy for him to use his rank 1 divine ability called Unity and his rank 4 divine ability called Heart of the Army. The other requirement to use this divine ability is for him to be of one mind with his army.

He has to be of one heart and mind with an army, or the rank 1 Unity divine ability won’t work. This is why he can’t use this divine ability on the soldiers of the other army and gain power from them.

But he didn’t mind that he couldn’t use the enemy soldiers as the foundation for his power. He was already content with his army.

The power he gained from the rank 1 Unity divine ability made his physical power soar to the level of a legend. When he reached this level, he redirected the extra power into the rank 6 divine ability called Army Breaker.

The Army Breaker divine ability is why any army without a rank 6 knight to support them can never win against an army supported by a rank 6 knight. This ability is one of the reasons why the judges have been victorious in

When he activated this divine ability, a yellow glow lit up on everyone in his army. The yellow light from each individual soldier combined to form one large canopy of yellow light that covered the whole army.

The yellow light obscured the individual soldiers of the army and created the illusion that the army was just one large entity. This wasn’t just a visual effect; the whole army began to move as one too.

The speed of everyone in the army synchronized so no one was left behind. The Army Breaker had pushed the unity of the army to an entirely new level.

The ability is called Army Breaker, but it looks like it unites an army. However, the soldiers of the other army became afraid when they saw this sight. Even before they clashed with the judges, their army was already breaking apart.

When the noble saw this, he knew that he couldn’t let Isaac continue to use the Army Breaker. It wasn’t just a matter of failing morale.

If he doesn’t stop Isaac before their two armies clash, his army will surely be shredded to pieces. This is something he has seen before.

In order to prevent that scene of devastating defeat from happening again, he activated his rank 3 divine ability called Setting Rules.

He said, “The Army Breaker divine ability is hereby banned in a range of 2 kilometers around me.”

The army of judges was a kilometer away from him, so they were definitely within range of the rules he set. This caused his rule to take effect on them immediately.

The noble groaned as spiritual energy poured out of him to manifest the rule he had set. The expenditure of spiritual energy was high because he was banning a rank 6 divine ability that was being used by a powerful knight with two epic pathways and an army to boost his power to the legendary level.

In fact, the only reason he hadn’t exploded when the rule took effect on Isaac was because he had used his rank 1 Noble Blood to enhance himself to the legendary level too.

Even so, the expenditure of spiritual energy needed to maintain the rule he set was draining him immensely. He had to take a drink of energy water in order to supplement his supply of energy water.
