Chapter 451: Chapter 322: Clouds Rise from All Directions, The Tian Family’s Yushi

Wu Liangchen reached for the sniper rifle with its all-black coating, his eyes lighting up.

The gun’s weight was perfectly balanced, making it very comfortable to hold.

When judging a weapon, its feel was just as important a metric as its stats and performance.

It was a seemingly trivial difference, but sometimes, such minute details were what decided life and death.

From this alone, Wu Liangchen could tell that real effort had gone into the gun’s design.

He wasn’t sure if the owner was telling the truth, but at least this wasn’t just another flashy but useless item like the last one.

"Can I test it?" Wu Liangchen asked.

The owner gave Wu Liangchen a long look, then turned his head. "Follow me."

Beyond the armory was a downward-sloping staircase that led to a shooting range approximately twenty meters long.

The range was underground and had no windows, but the ventilation was excellent, keeping the air fresh.

"The special bullets made for killing powerful experts are extremely expensive, and their stopping power is immense. You can’t test them on this range. Here, use these regular bullets to get a feel for the gun first."

The owner tossed him a box of bullets.

Wu Liangchen caught it and immediately began to load the weapon.

Though they were called regular bullets, they were still much larger than rounds for ordinary firearms.

Once the rifle was loaded, Wu Liangchen raised it and fired without the slightest hesitation.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Three thunderous reports echoed, and a single, perfectly round hole was blasted into the center of the distant target.

The owner was surprised.

Wu Liangchen had been firing from a standing position. This was a heavy sniper rifle using oversized rounds; the recoil should have been staggering.

Yet, Wu Liangchen hadn’t moved an inch.

Forget everything else—that level of physical strength alone put him in a completely different league from ordinary people.

"So? What do you think?" the owner asked with a smile.

"Not bad," Wu Liangchen said, letting out a soft breath. He was very pleased with the rifle.

Thanks to his maxed-out archery skill, Wu Liangchen had an innate and terrifyingly precise talent for any kind of projectile weapon; he didn’t even need to learn.

Back when he fought Sun Lingchen’s Heaven’s Punishment squad at sea, Wu Liangchen had inflicted massive casualties simply by throwing grenades from underwater.

Now, with a powerful weapon like this in his hands, it was like adding wings to a tiger.

Afterward, Wu Liangchen tested several other weapons the owner had recommended, including pistols and grenades.

Of course, a weapon like a rocket launcher couldn’t be tested here.

It would bring the whole range down.

Besides, those things were built to be rugged; they rarely had issues.

In the end, Wu Liangchen selected a full cart’s worth of weapons.

"These are the special bullets I was telling you about. Two thousand Alliance Points a pop. I’ve only got five of them. How many do you want?" The owner presented an exquisite box and opened it, revealing five slender bullets inside.

At first glance, they looked no different from regular bullets, but their tips shimmered with a faint blue light that was both mesmerizing and dangerous.

"I’ll take them all." Wu Liangchen handed over the black card he had taken from Sun Lingchen.

It was an unregistered black card from the Alliance Bank. The privileges it granted were immense, and the requirements for obtaining one were incredibly strict.

Wu Liangchen had checked it. The card held a staggering two million Alliance Points.

’For a card carried by a rich kid barely out of the nest to have this much money... it just goes to show how extravagant these monopolistic great families really are.’

"Alrighty! The weapons and bullets come to a total of one million, seven hundred ninety-five thousand, three hundred points. I’ll just round it up to an even one-point-eight million for you!"

As he spoke, he reached into a nearby cabinet, pulled out a long saber, and handed it to Wu Liangchen.

"It’s a blade I forged a while back when I had some free time. It’s just been sitting here collecting dust. I like your style, kid, so take it as a gift."

Wu Liangchen took the saber, his heart skipping a beat.

’In truth, the only reason he knew about this black market arms dealer was because of Luo Qifeng’s memories.’

’But Luo Qifeng had only known that the unassuming coffee shop owner was an incredibly resourceful weapons dealer; he knew nothing else about the man.’

’But now, the instant his hand closed around the saber, Wu Liangchen understood. The chubby, middle-aged man in front of him was, without a doubt, a master smith.’

’The craftsmanship was simply too good.’

’From the weight distribution to the length of the blade, everything was perfect.’

"Want to give it a try?" the owner asked with a slight smile.

Wu Liangchen took a deep breath, then shook his head. "There’s no need. Thank you."

He said "there’s no need" because he could feel the blade’s formidable power the moment he held it; testing it was superfluous.

He said "thank you" because he knew the blade’s value was far beyond the few thousand Alliance Points the owner had rounded up the bill by.

"Don’t mention it. You’ve given me a big piece of business, so a blade is nothing. By the way, need a car? A communicator? How about a full set of IDs? The credentials are all legit, completely untraceable," the owner asked with a serious expression.

Of course, Wu Liangchen couldn’t just carry that many weapons out on his back. So, after paying another seventy thousand points, he became the owner of a full set of identification papers and a large, street-legal SUV.

Only after Wu Liangchen had loaded everything into the vehicle and driven away did the owner withdraw his gaze and turn back into the shop.

"Looks like the kid wasn’t just bluffing. He really is planning to take on the Sun family," one of the men sitting by the window remarked, putting down his cards with a smile.
