Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1981: Returning to the shop

Chapter 1981: Returning to the shop

Crystal City

A few hours later,

The Raven Aircraft reached Crystal City. After flying inside the perimeter, I directed the aircraft toward the crystal community.

I landed the aircraft on the ground. The next second, figures from the appraisal shop left the building.

They were none other than the members. They recognized the Raven Aircraft.

They were Otto, Patrick, Hank, and Old Man Rock. They landed in front of the aircraft.

The next second, the vine monster and the sky crocodile came out from the building. They appeared next to the members.

I exited from the cockpit. I put the Raven Aircraft inside the system space.

"Master."

Everyone greeted me. My gaze fell on the members. A bright smile appeared on my face. The members looked good.

I used the system to check their health conditions. Otto and Patrick remained the same. They didn’t have any injuries on their bodies.

It was the same thing with Hank. He was doing fine as well.

Then my gaze fell on Old Man Rock. His old injuries were contained, and his Magic Lord combat strength hadn’t regressed.

Finally, my gaze fell on the monsters. They were doing fine as well.

"Let’s go inside," I said to them.

Otto and Patrick looked at each other. They felt an unknown pressure radiating from the Master. Their eyes flashed with a glint. Hank felt the same.

Old Man Rock noticed something more.

"Don’t tell me this young man is close to becoming a Magic Lord," he thought.

The thought alone set off storms in his heart. The progress shocked him to the core.

Soon, everyone was inside. The shop was closed. Seeing that, I raised my eyebrows. We arrived at the sitting area.

Then I sat on the sofa. The members sat opposite me. I could feel their gazes. They had a lot of questions to ask.

I had questions to ask them as well.

"I know you guys want to know about where I have been these days. But before that, I want to know what happened here during my absence," I said to them.

"Master, I will tell you first," Otto said.

"The business was going well even without your presence. But things changed when the news about the unknown evil force emerged."

"The locals stopped coming outside. They were scared. Businesses were shut down. Our shop stopped receiving that many people," Otto said.

Hearing that, my eyes flashed with understanding. I didn’t expect the news to have this much of an impact on the locals.

"Did you guys face any problems from the Magic Towers?" I asked.

This time, Patrick opened his mouth.

"There were some who tried to cause some disturbances. They intimidated the customers. We tried to stop them by using the help of Manager Lara."

"Since then, they have stopped causing problems openly. Yet, from time to time, they did small schemes like spreading fake news."

"But ever since the news about the unknown evil force came out, they have stopped causing problems," Patrick said in a solemn tone.

I calmly listened to his explanation. Once again, I wasn’t surprised. The enemy forces didn’t like my business.

Since I was not here, they would have wanted to ruin the business. Fortunately, the current situation had foiled everyone’s plans. And I had returned on time.

Then Hank began to speak. He began to talk about the items that were bought and sold. Everyone had played a huge role in appraising the items.

Finally, Old Man Rock spoke. He mentioned the Infinite Wizard Association. From time to time, they sent items for appraisal.

Hearing that, I nodded my head. I had made a deal with the Infinite Wizard Association. They would send me intel. In response, I would help them by appraising their items.

When the old man finished explaining everything, my gaze turned toward the Vine Monster and Sky Crocodile. They were doing well in the shop. None of them had caused any problems.

"Good. Good."

I said good to them twice. Then they asked about me. I smiled and decided to tell them only a few things.

Then I started to speak. The conversation went on for half an hour. Everyone was shocked and understood that the world is huge. There are so many strange places.

"Master, I didn’t expect there to be such strong nations outside," Hank said with genuine interest.

The others nodded their heads. Then I decided to take a rest. I told them not to open the shop until I said so, before heading to my room.

When I reached the room, I used the key to enter inside. I saw that dust covered the room. I entered the bath. Then I used the shower to freshen up.

20 minutes later,

I walked out of the bath. Then I released the Zero Puppet outside. Red smoke appeared in the air.

"We are back!"

"You can go anywhere in the city now. I want to know about the current crisis. The Mage Union is facing a threat from an unknown evil wizard force. Try to collect as much information as possible," I ordered the puppet.

The Zero Puppet agreed. Then the red smoke left through the room window. The red smoke went around the rooms one by one first.

The Zero Puppet began to collect information from the members first. They didn’t share everything; they only told what they deemed important.

This time, they started chatting with each other. They divulged some information. It wasn’t important to them, but the Zero Puppet rated the information as important and collected it inside its new database.

After collecting information from everyone, the Zero Puppet left the building. It was going to find information about the evil force next.

The next most populous places were the street-side shops and businesses. In its red smoke form, the Zero Puppet easily infiltrated the area and began collecting information.

Meanwhile,

The news about Vincent Carey reached the other wizard members of the Silver Tower. There were wizards who had not seen Vincent Carey but had heard his name.

There were some who didn’t want to see him at all, especially since he had joined the faction of Elder Dana. But nonetheless, the news was a hot topic right now.
