I thanked Sam Patrick for his help. He once again warned me about the assassin organization.

After giving me a few more pieces of advice, he left the place.

Then I closed the door and began to ponder. The assassin organization sounds interesting. If not for the mission, I would be interested in dealing with them.

But I should be careful as well. I have hurt the Magic Lord. They might send a team of Magic Lords to target me.

I don’t think they would send a Forbidden Wizard to eliminate me. The Forbidden Wizards are not that free. If they appear, it would alarm the big forces here.

So they won’t send such a powerhouse. Instead, the movement of the Magic Lords is clear here.

Then I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I went to bed to sleep.

Meanwhile,

The killers of the Sky Water Tower received the mission. They left their bases in Blue Falls City.

Bases were not like big buildings. Instead, they were small hideouts located in the most isolated locations.

The spies left their place. They were going toward the Patrick Estate. They were not going to show themselves. Instead, they were going to wait outside.

The following day,

The spies were waiting outside in different shops outside the estate of the Patrick Wizard Family.

They were waiting for the masked man, the target who attacked their elder, to leave the estate.

Patrick Estate

After getting ready, I appeared back in the room. Anyone could come here to see me. So I laid down on the bed.

A few minutes later,

I heard a knocking sound on the door. Then I walked up to the door and opened it. The butler was standing outside.

“Lord, the Master is waiting for you at the dining table,” the butler said.

“I’m coming,” I uttered before following the butler.

Then I came to the dining hall. I saw everyone seated at the table. They saw me the next second. I nodded to them before finding the last seat.

I sat on the chair. The next second, I caught the gaze of the old man who was seated at the main table. I think he is the current Family Head. His name is Tom Patrick.

I had already seen through the wizards. The main family and the wizards working in the estate all have water-related magic.

It shows that children born here are blessed with water-related magic. The dinner was served. Only Sam Patrick was speaking from time to time.

I was quiet and minding my own business.

Tom Patrick had been watching the guest. He was shocked. He had never seen anyone with such calmness.

Though the person was wearing a mask, he could tell that the person didn’t mind his presence at all. He is a Forbidden Wizard.

If it were anyone else in the city, they would have greeted him first. Yet the person did the exact opposite; he didn’t try to initiate any conversation with them.

This thing was noticed by others in the family as well.

Sam Patrick was sure that the masked man had a big background. He defeated the Magic Lord in one move. He could have something to deal with the Forbidden Wizard as well.

Time passed,

After having dinner, Tom Patrick left, followed by his wife and daughter-in-law. Sam Patrick was left alone with me.

“Lord, today I’m going to take you to the shipping company. There is a ship going to leave the city in a few days.”

“If there is a chance, we could get the tickets. Otherwise, you can only travel at the end of the month. No other ships are leaving in between then,” Sam Patrick said.

Hearing that, I smiled. But I had thought of a plan already. Since the ship was going to leave in a few days, I was going to sneak inside the ship. Ticket buying was just a formality.

20 minutes later,

We left the estate in a flying car. There were two flying cars moving ahead and behind us for the safety of Sam Patrick.

Two Magic Lords were in those cars for Sam Patrick’s safety.

“Do you think they can take action inside the city?” I asked.

Sam Patrick’s expression turned solemn.

“If the price is enough, then anyone can take action. Most of the killers and spies are wanted criminals across the coastal nations.”

“The killer organization is their only way out. They can earn resources only through missions. Unless they have decided to abandon their birthplace and move out somewhere else,” Sam said.

Hearing that, my eyes flashed with understanding.

The coastal nations are not that weak. The families are powerful here. The Patrick Estate seemed to be like any normal estate with many lands.

But the Family Head is a Forbidden Wizard. It shows that it’s a nightmare for people who commit crimes to live here.

The flying car reached the main street. The air traffic looked normal. The flying cars then entered the lane.

Meanwhile,

The killers and the spies had been waiting for a long time. They recognized the vehicle of the Patrick Family.

They quickly shared the information. The killers started following the vehicle. But they didn’t dare to show themselves.

So they were moving in cars as well.

About 20 minutes later,

The flying cars entered the area of the Montex Shipping Company. Soon, they reached the main building.

The flying cars then landed on the ground one by one. In the car, I saw that towering building through the window.

It was not the only nice thing about the place. What amazed me was that the company was located in a spot not far away from the seashore. I could see blue seas ahead.

I stepped out and followed Sam Patrick to the main building.

On the other hand, the killers who followed were stopped at the gate. Their identities needed to be verified first.

Everyone recognized the Patrick Wizard Family. But these people had come here alone. They couldn’t let them inside.

The killers were not ready to undergo inspection. So they left the place. They were going to wait somewhere else.

As long as the target left the place, they would do something.
