Chapter 1755: Super Large Nation: Nelmora
Chapter 1755: Super Large Nation: Nelmora
Dust City
The news about Manager Lara’s return to the Magic City was received by Forbidden Wizard Remi. Knowing that he had failed in his mission, he was unable to sit still.
Boom!
In a fit of anger, he lost control. An overwhelming pressure released from his body. The pressure from a Forbidden Wizard was enough to destroy a city.
That is exactly what happened. The terrible pressure swept across Dust City. The lower-level wizards died on the spot, including the locals and outsiders.
The higher-ups from the Dark, Neutral, and White Factions suffered terrible casualties. The pressure flattened the city.
All the building infrastructure crumbled under the weight. The wizards from the major factions fled; they didn’t have time to investigate.
For the time being, smoke and dust filled the skies of Dust City. The smell of blood and cries for help were everywhere.
The wandering wizards and those from influential forces were swept away by the pressure as well. They died on the spot.
Right now, the main gate stood open. Corpses were lying all over the ground. Dust City could be declared destroyed. More than ten thousand people have died.
Forbidden Wizard Remi didn’t even bother to look at it. He controlled his emotions in the end, and the pressure vanished. He then opened the space layers to travel back to the Magic City.
…
Magic City
Almost all the major forces knew about Manager Lara’s return, including the allied forces of the Silver Tower. They, too, had thought Manager Lara went outside the Magic City for personal matters.
Jason Nicholson and Susan Park met with Wilfred Cox at a family cafe.
They discussed Manager Lara. Unlike others, they felt Manager Lara had faced some trouble because there was no reason for her to disappear for some time without informing them.
If she had worked outside the Magic City, she would have told them. But in this matter, nothing like that happened.
Wilfred Cox said, “Don’t worry. Maybe she doesn’t want to tell us.”
“How do you know?” Susan asked.
Jason showed a bitter smile and said, “We ruined our friendship with Vincent Carey. This matter was disliked by Manager Lara.”
“Sigh!”
“We were in the wrong at that time. I thought Vincent would forget, but it appears we won’t have the same friendship again,” Susan said with a sigh.
“Forget about it. We are heirs of wizard families. We have to think about our own interests.”
“Vincent doesn’t have a background. The Elemental Towers had already marked him as their target. I don’t have to mention the Black Tower.”
“It would do us no good to be associated with him,” Wilfred said in a solemn tone.
“Yes, he is surrounded by danger. It’s best for us to stay away from him,” Jason added.
Only Susan felt something was wrong with the logic, but she agreed with their words.
…
Black Tower
The higher-ups of the Black Tower were disappointed. They had given a secret mission to Forbidden Wizard Remi, yet he failed.
Now, the news about their activities will be known to others in the Silver Tower, including the Elders.
They had to be careful of retaliation in the future. They informed Forbidden Wizard Remi to return. Once he arrives, they will know what happened from his own mouth.
…
Super Large Nation: Nelmora
A middle-aged man dressed in a hoodie was watching a fight in the arena. The fighters were not human, but monsters.
Two 10th-order monsters were fighting each other: one was a Black Tiger and the other was an Earth Lizard.
The middle-aged man frowned as he listened to the conversation around him. Fierce betting was underway.
The middle-aged man in the hoodie recognized a person among the crowd. The person was dressed in red wizard clothes.
The red-clothed man stood up all of a sudden and left the place. The man in the hoodie saw this and acted.
He quickly left the place to follow him. Both of them walked out of the arena in time. The red-clothed man realized someone was following him.
The next second, he disappeared from the spot. He was using the space layers to travel.
Seeing that, the middle-aged man in the hoodie acted. He used the same space layer to catch him. Compared to the red-clothed man, the man in the hoodie had better control.
Boom!
He caught up to him and broke the space barrier around him. A deafening noise occurred. The red-clothed man landed on the ground with a bloodied body.
The explosion caused him injuries. If he were a Magic Lord, the explosion inside the space layer would have shredded him into smithereens.
The middle-aged man in the hoodie caught the red-clothed man. He fed him something strange. The next second, the red-clothed man’s face contorted in pain.
“I didn’t expect to catch you here. You were giving me a tough time earlier,” the middle-aged man said.
The red-clothed man raised his head and saw the person’s face.
“Forbidden Wizard Erwin!”
“How did you find out my whereabouts?” the red-clothed man asked.
The middle-aged man in the hoodie let out a chuckle. He was none other than Forbidden Wizard Erwin.
“The Mage Union knows about your magic. You can increase the growth rate of monsters. You were really enjoying a lavish life here using your magic.”
“But what about your crimes? You have caused the death of Mage Union members. Do you think we will let you go?” Erwin said in a cold tone.
The red-clothed man sneered. He said, “The wizards of Nelmora have helpers in outer space. I’m a citizen of Nelmora now. Offending them would do no good to you.”
Erwin’s gaze sharpened. He said, “No wonder you were hiding here. But it doesn’t matter to me. I’m doing my job. The consequences are up to the higher-ups.”
“You…” The red-clothed man wanted to say something, but he lost consciousness.
“It’s time to go back,” Erwin said with a smile.
But his smile faded when he saw the border of the Super Large Nation Nelmora behind him.
Swoosh!
He then grabbed the red-clothed man and used the space layer to leave the place.
