Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1754 1754: Part 2: Returning to the Silver Magic Tower

From MC Perspective

The Raven aircraft landed. Manager Lara had piloted it gracefully. She then opened the door to step out.

Seeing this, I donned my mask and shielded my strength using the System. Then, I stepped outside.

When we both exited, I took the aircraft into my storage bracelet.

“Let’s go,” Manager Lara said, glancing at me.

I nodded to her before following her toward the entrance. She showed her badge; the formations didn’t react. I showed my badge as well, and we walked inside the tower.

I told Manager Lara not to speak of her rescue. She understood and had no intention of revealing the truth. If someone asked her, she would lie.

I nodded to her once more before I started walking toward my room. It had been months since I left, and I didn’t know what state it would be in.

Outside

The spies were terrified. They saw Manager Lara.

They had recently heard a rumor that she was missing, but no one had taken it seriously; everyone assumed she had gone out on important business.

Now, she had returned alongside a masked man.

No one was able to see through the masked man’s strength. Both of them went inside the tower. This was vital information. The spies quickly shared the news with their factions.

Specifically, the spies of the Black Tower shared the update immediately; any small piece of information related to the Silver Tower was important to them.

Inside the Silver Tower,

The Room

After entering the room, I locked the door. I immediately used the System to scan for anything strange.

The results came back negative. I sighed in relief; the room was untouched, though it was now filled with dust.

Swoosh!

The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. When I entered the hall, everyone stood up and greeted me.

“Master!”

Their expressions were filled with respect. Even Magic Lord Rock’s eyes were filled with seriousness and deference.

“Did you know?” I asked Rock.

“Master, I didn’t expect you to be from the Mage Union,” Rock said with excitement.

“The Mage Union is the current overlord of our world. Even the Dark Territory is under their watch. I have no regrets now,” Rock added with a genuine smile.

He had found hope that his damaged mana core could be recovered. Once healed, he would return to the peak of a Magic Lord.

I saw through old man Rock’s thoughts, but I didn’t mind. Everyone needs something, and they knew I could provide rich resources.

My gaze then turned toward the Flying Salamander, which was resting beside the Dark Root Vine Monster.

“Master, the Salamander is not yet under your control?” Otto asked.

I smiled and replied, “I reached the rank of Supreme Wizard recently. Once my strength grows further, I will place the same curse on it.”

My words caused the others to shudder. I didn’t want any rebellious thoughts in their minds; I could kill them whenever I wished.

Patrick decided to change the topic. “Master, have we returned?”

Everyone perked up their ears.

“Master, I want to go outside and take a look at the Mage Union,” Hank added from the side.

“Yes, I am back in my room in the Silver Magic Tower. I am going to buy a mansion soon, and then everyone can live there,” I replied in a serious tone. “Until then, you must wait. I have enemies as well. It would be better if you focus on improving your strength.”

“Master, don’t worry. We are old monsters when it comes to experience. We will definitely defeat your enemies,” Patrick said with assurance.

“Rest assured, Master. I will find out their plans before they can harm you,” Otto said.

“Master, I will help you find their hideouts,” Hank added.

“Master Vincent, my mana core is damaged, but I can still use a small portion of a Magic Lord’s power. If any Magic Lord troubles you, tell me,” Rock said confidently.

Rustle!

The Dark Root Vine Monster swayed in agreement. Even the Sky Salamander, though the weakest among them, agreed to work for its Master.

Their words brought a smile to my face. Five crimson orbs bounced in my mind, their state revealing that the Crimson Curse was active.

“Alright, I’ll see you later.”

After saying that, I went to the control room and brought the Zero Puppet outside. I used super-grade mana stones to activate its core.

The Zero Puppet powered up a second later, and I ordered it to clean the room.

While the puppet worked, I returned to the control room inside the mansion. In the mirror, the view of my room became clear.

I hadn’t practiced during my travels, so I sat cross-legged on the ground and took out a few super-grade mana stones.

Holding them in my palm, I closed my eyes and began running the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

The gravity mana seeped from the stones and entered my body. This time, I could control all the gray mana within; not a single part leaked out or went to waste.

I began to circulate the gravity mana particles through my system.

My body started absorbing energy. The hidden runes in my bones were part of the forbidden inheritance and were absorbing the gravity mana as well. I was stunned by this development, but it was good news.

I continued the circulation until the mana entered my mana core space. The space was different than before; the walls possessed a golden aura with small, hidden runes.

In the center, the mana core was now a dark gray orb. Its pebble-like appearance was gone, replaced by a round core that looked far more powerful.

Upon closer inspection, the core was covered in the rules of gravity magic. I had confirmed the changes with the system already.

Time passed as I continued the process.

Outside

The major Wizard forces received the news of Manager Lara’s return. They didn’t take it as big news. They knew she would return.

But the Black Magic Tower was different.
