I put the maps back into the system space. After doing that, I appeared outside, but I didn’t land on the ground.
I was standing in mid-air. I thought if I touched my feet to the ground, the tree monster might find me.
Then I looked around and used the probe function of the system to scan the place. Seeing that the area was safe and sound, I started moving toward the inner area.
But my speed was slow. At the same time, I ordered the system to alert me if there were any tree roots.
The 10th-Order Monster is clever. It has either appeared while I’m inside the Gregor Mansion or it is following me from behind.
Then I shook my head and continued with the journey.
As time passed, I found the terrain changing. There were many slopes and trenches. The trenches were covered with dense, dark vegetation.
Some of the trenches were very deep. If anyone took a misstep, they would be buried in the ground.
Even powerful wizards wouldn’t be able to get out. Fortunately, the system warned me, and because of it, I was able to avoid the dangerous trenches.
As I continued to travel, I noticed I was moving past the outer area and getting closer to the inner area.

Out of nowhere, black smoke appeared. It started to cover the place all of a sudden. In the blink of an eye, the whole area looked as if it were covered in dense fog.
Seeing that, my expression turned solemn. If I had stayed there, I would have been poisoned by it. I didn’t know what to say now.
Every step in the forbidden area is filled with danger. I was glad I had the system with me. Then I waited for the poisonous miasma to recede.
Just as I continued to watch the control mirror out of boredom, I witnessed another shocking scene.
The black smoke was receding slowly. It wasn’t happening naturally; it was occurring for some other reason.
I saw the dark roots had returned. Their many eyes were flashing on the roots. The black smoke was unable to do anything.
I knew that black smoke was nothing but poisonous miasma.
It could harm anything. Yet the dark tree roots of the 10th order monster were forcing the black poison to recede.
Seeing that, I began to feel goosebumps all over my body. I knew the 10th-Order Monster was not ordinary.
