Bran Tristan woke up after taking a rest. He then started to increase the speed of the airship. The black airship courses through the large clouds.
At the same time, I’m really enjoying the scenery. I never had such a journey before. I’m observing various places and sensing various types of mana in each place.
Some places had pure mana, and some other places had more concentration of the dark mana.
These areas were inside the Dark Territory. So I’m not surprised by the presence of the Dark Mana.
As time passed, I continued to do my job. Our airship came across other flying ships. More and more airships appear as we are getting closer to Willow Peak City.
We have already crossed another city earlier. Only the last city remains between Willow Peak City and us.
“The next city is called Red Stone City. It’s also the last city before Willow Peak City,” Bran Tristan said to me.
Hearing that my eyes flickered. I turned towards the sky. It’s already evening. He thinks Aethel Society might have used their move.

Bran Tristan’s eyes flickered with an understanding.

As we were walking, I noticed Bran Tristan’s expression. He is worried right now. I don’t even know about the Aethel Society’s next move.
“I hope they are not sending the Supreme Wizard and above as the backup,” I said in my heart.

Midnight has come. We were the only two people walking on the road. But so far no one has come to attack us.
Bran Tristan said, “There are only a few hours left before the sun rises. Do you think someone will still attack us?”
Hearing that I smiled and said, “Don’t let down your guard?”
Bran Tristan smiled. We continued the journey.
At the same time, we were not talking that much. Bran felt bored at one point.
“I’m interested in knowing about your background. You didn’t even get scared after knowing about the Aethel Society?”

Bran Tristan thinks that the masked man’s background must be terrifying. Many forces in the world are afraid of the Aethel Society.
Their single artifact can spell doom for any super-large nation. But their entire organisation is filled with people who can create such Artefacts.
Bran Tristan feels fortunate that he didn’t join such an evil organisation. He wants his magic to benefit people.
They continued with a little bit of chatting here and there.
Suddenly,

[A hostile wizard is detected ahead.]
A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that I paused my footsteps. Seeing that Bran Tristan stopped as well.
Then I asked the system about its strength in my mind. It says they are level-9 Wizards. Hearing that, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
“There is a threat ahead. Do you have anything to protect yourself?” I asked.
Bran was stunned. He didn’t expect the enemies to come sooner. But he does have an artifact to protect himself. It was given to him by his teacher.
“I have a defensive artifact with me. It can protect from the attacks of the wizards up to the Supreme Wizard,” Bran said.
I felt relieved. I can focus on the enemy.
“Good, use the artifact to protect yourself. I’ll deal with the enemies,” I said to him.
Bran nodded before taking out the Artifact. It was a green-coloured ball. Under my gaze, he pressed it.
The next second, the green ball enlarges in size. In the blink of an eye, it grows above his height.
Then I saw him opening the door and went inside the green ball. The green color ball becomes a little transparent.
I saw Bran Tristan waving his hands at me. Seeing that I was stunned. I had never seen such a beautiful artifact before. What more? It appears to be a new magic technology.
Then Bran Tristan said, “You can fight without worrying about me.”
Hearing that, I nodded to him and turned forward.
