Chapter 1472: A mission from Elder Dana?

From MC’s Perspective:

After realising that Level-9 Wizard Hugo is yet to recover, I left the mana chamber facility. Then I started going back to my room.

Soon, I reached my room. After entering the room, I went to take a bath. I spent 20 minutes in the bath. Then I walked out and changed to a wizard uniform.

After getting ready, I left the room and started walking down towards the lobby. When I reached the lobby. I immediately called Manager Lara.

Shortly afterwards,

Manager Lara came to see me.

She asked,” Is there something on your mind?”

Hearing that, I asked,” Can I visit the auction houses and antique shops in the Magic City?”

Lara said,” There are different types of antique shops and auction house businesses. Some are run by the wizard families.”

“If the wizard families happen to be hostile, you could find yourself in trouble,” She added.

Hearing that, I realised that I had forgotten about this small detail. I still don’t know who else hates Silver Tower.

“Do we have other enemies?” I asked her.

Because my stats have reached the limit. Only the core progression is lacking. If the core progression touches the limit, then I can start the process of breaking through.

Lara was surprised in her heart. She doesn’t know where this new interest has come from for him.

Before Lara could answer. She heard someone approaching the Silver Tower. On the other hand, I heard sound as well.

Both of us then turned towards the entrance. Then I saw an old woman with white hair and a uniform appear first.

Charlotte came in as well. When she saw Lara and Vincent Carey, she was dumbfounded. They came to meet Vincent Carey. She didn’t expect to see him here.

Hearing that Lara recovered first.

“It’s good to see you, Elder Dana,” Lara greeted her.

“Wow, you are quick to recover!”

“Sit,” Dana said with a smile.

She then sits on the sofa. She looked towards Charlotte and told her to sit as well. Next, Charlotte sits on the single sofa chair.

Lara sits on the opposite single sofa chair.

Seeing that everyone sat down. I sat opposite Elder Dana. My body is completely fine right now. I started to take deep breaths before releasing.

Now, a new fear has been added to my mind. I don’t know whether she can find the existence of the system. But her next words shook me to the core.

“Good!”

“You are just a small step away from becoming a level-9 Wizard. What are you lacking?” Dana asked.

She recognises Vincent Carey. Because she had read his profile before.

Manager Lara and Forbidden Wizard Charlotte weren’t surprised. They had seen footage where Vincent Carey made level-9 Wizard Hugo bedridden.

On the other hand, I don’t know what to say. Elder Dana has seen through me.

“Elder, my mana core is yet to fully develop,” I replied to her.

“Mana core?” Charlotte uttered in surprise.

She thinks it’s usually the rule power that was the last hurdle for any wizard seed.

Even Manager Lara was surprised. She had thought Vincent Carey had some other issue. But she didn’t expect it would be mana core.

“Interesting,” Elder Dana uttered in surprise.

Dana was impressed. The young Wizard Seed is better than she had thought.

“The young man has reached Level 9. It’s just the mana core is blocking him,” Dana said in her heart.

She was glad that he didn’t become a level-9 Wizard. Otherwise, he won’t be eligible for the mission.

“I have come here to see you, especially,” Dana said.

Hearing that I was stunned and shocked to the core. Why would the Elder want to see me?

Lara was taken aback in surprise. She didn’t expect Elder Dana to come for Vincent Carey.

Charlotte knew forehand. Elder Dana told her earlier.

“Elder, what is it?” I asked her.

Dana smiled and said, “There is a mission for you. If you complete the mission, then I’ll reward you. Maybe the reward can help your mana core to reach the limit.”

Hearing that my heart beat started to increase. I was worried about the mana core earlier. I had even made a deadline for a week.

But I didn’t expect to receive a solution soon.

“What do you say?” Dana asked.

“I’ll do it,” I replied to her.

Dana raises her eyebrows in surprise.

“Don’t you want to know the difficulty?” Dana asked.

Hearing that my heart skips a beat. My excitement was gone, and I looked at her.

I said, “Elder, I’ll try my best.”

“Okay, I’m not going to beat around the bush. I’m going to send you to the Fate Wizard.”

“The Fate Wizard accepts requests from those who complete the mission told by the Fate Wizard.”

“We, the elders of the Silver Tower, have something to ask the Fate Wizard.”

“So, we have decided to send you to do the mission,” Dana said.

Hearing that I was dumbfounded. Why does it sound simple? But it’s actually not. Then why me?

Dana saw through his thoughts.

She said, “You must be wondering? Why you?”

Hearing that calms my heart down. I don’t know whether her words were true or not. Even if it’s not, I don’t care. I want the reward.

“Okay, I’ll do it,” I said to her.

“Good, come with me. I’ll drop you at the place close to the Fate Wizard,” Dana said.

I was surprised once again. But then I have no way to reject her.

I nodded to her before standing up.

Elder Dana stood up from the sofa. Seeing that Charlotte and Lara stood as well.

“Okay, I’m taking him with me. You guys keep an eye on Silver Tower,” After saying that Dana turned around to leave.

“Don’t worry. Elder. Leave the Silver to me,” Charlotte said in a serious tone.

Lara said to monitor the Silver Tower as well. I nodded to Lord Charlotte and Manager Lara before following Elder Dana to leave.

I’m glad that she couldn’t find the existence of the system and the Gregor Mansion. So I’m confident about the mission.

Even if the enemy is a Forbidden Wizard, I can escape.

When we came out of the Silver Tower. Dana does something with a snap of her fingers.

The surroundings have become distorted. The distortion has covered both of them. My heart stirred once again.

I’m literally seeing the ripples in front of me. It’s bending the reality itself. Then we came to the street.

Outside,

No one could see anything. They are seeing only empty land. The place appeared empty to them. But in reality, two of them are walking inside the distortion.

Dana grabs Vincent’s hand. The next second, a black hole appears out of nowhere. She enters the black hole with Vincent Carey.

I’m witnessing the pinnacle of the magic with amazement.
