God's Eyes

Chapter 668: Prince

Chapter 668: Prince

With one minor seal unleashed, Jason felt a sudden surge of energy spreading through his body.

At the same time, faint traces of the chaos attribute that had been used to maintain the seal were released.

Jason didn’t even notice this, and with his eyes boring down on Leo he repeated his words once again, extremely slowly.

“Let…go!”

Leo hadn’t been impressed on hearing Jason the first time, but looking into his eyes for the second time, his behavior changed completely.

”Fuck!” He swore under his breath as he felt multiple things happening at the same time.

Jason didn’t hold back at all as he released his Celestia aura to the highest possible extent he could right now.

In addition to that, his Stigma was glowing in a bright golden light as it was fully released too, only for a second one to manifest out of nowhere.

Unbeknownst to Jason, Petri had entered his mana core, fusing with him, amplifying the already existing stigma and the curses that were just about to be unleashed.

Other than that, Petri restrained himself because it was already more than enough for what he wanted to achieve.

With a straight back, Jason stared straight into Leo’s eyes that seemed to lose their confidence when the Petrification curse, the race specific weakening curse, and his Emperor Eyes’ abyssal effect were released at once.

Under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t be enough to intimidate, let alone scare a being at the Ascendion stage, such a Leo.

However, right now, Jason’s curses were amplified, and the Abyssal effect he had released was swept through with the Chaos attribute that had been unleashed when the minor seal broke apart!

All of the sudden attacks, intertwined with Jason’s bloodlust that emerged from the depths of his conscience, erupted at once, caused by his humane emotions that didn’t accept being suppressed and humiliated anymore.

Thus, Jason’s simple words were laced with such a sheer power that Leo felt an itch in his hand, only to sense how the golden aura was slowly swept through with bloodlust and ferocity that he couldn’t associate with Jason.

The sensation caused him to feel as if he had entered the lair of bloodthirsty beasts that wanted to tear him apart and feast on him.

If that wasn’t enough, the outline of Jason’s pupils was turning crimson.

Glowing lightly, his eyes continued to stare at him. Leo had been distracted for a mere fraction of a second, only to be drawn into Jason’s Abyssal effect that was enhanced by the other curses, the two fully unleashed Stigmas, his ferocious aura, and most importantly, the last traces of the released Chaos attribute.

Despite the vast difference in their Cultivation base, Leo felt how his mind was slowly enveloped by the devastating power of the Chaos attribute which penetrated his defenses.

Through this, the remaining attack force would have advanced further the moment the defenses were shattered, but before that could happen Leo instinctively let go of Jason’s hand as he retreated several steps.

His eyes widened, realising that he had just been overwhelmed by a being that was merely at the Mid ranks of the Lique stage.

However, that was not important to him right now, because he realised with a jolt that his mind, which was refined using the cultivation path of Spiral, had almost been infiltrated by Jason.

This shocked Leo the most because he was confident in his cultivation base and mental strength, or at least, he had been confident before Jason’s little act.

Just as he wanted to ask Jason what the hell happened, several auras of beings at the Specta stage were released, shackling down Jason, who was slowly reverting to his usual self.

In the end, his encounter with Leo merely lasted for a few seconds, yet, those seconds were important for Jason owing to multiple factors.

He didn’t want to back off against someone just because they were stronger, thinking that they could toy around with him.

By letting Leo catch a faint glimpse of what he truly could do if he wanted to, Jason showed that he was not to be taken lightly, turning it into a warning cum lesson for the others.

With this example, he could clearly show that even beings at the Ascendion stage would back off against him.

Jason knew that he had been fortunate with a surprise attack on the consciousness of Leo, but at the same time, he was also aware of the fact that all of his remaining energy, except one minor seal, had been fully released.

The Chaos attribute had been fully used up, and it would already be a wonder if he could intimidate a being at the Mid-Prismar stage now.

Almost everything, or rather the majority of his small face-off was due to the Chaos attribute and Jason was aware of this.

This was also the reason why he went all in, only to realise that his anger was much more intense than he expected.

Only a few years ago, he had been of the opinion that pride was something useless, but the pride and confidence he had painstakingly built up in recent years were exactly the cause of this anger.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t feel that enraged if someone else were to try playing tricks with him.

In the end, Jason assumed that Leo and Miranda didn’t really plan anything bad, otherwise, Leo would have broken his arm, the moment he came in touch with him.

Jason was sure that Leo wouldn’t have been punished, but rather he himself would be punished for mistreating a noble.

At least, that was what he assumed of the place he was in and the races he had encountered until now.

Even after having been shackled down by the aura of multiple Specta stage powerhouses, Jason’s mind worked relentlessly.

Petri was still occupying his mana core, but they weren’t fused anymore.

Furthermore, Jason had retracted his entire aura in addition to canceling the released curses and abyssal effect.

Thus, from the short moment Leo thought that Jason had turned into an existence that was as strong as his father, the young man with golden eyes returned to being an ordinary youth just a moment later.

Due to this, Leo almost doubted his sanity, thinking that he had been caught in an illusion.

However, before this doubt could grow, Leo realised that the situation had become much more serious than he could have expected.

His master suddenly appeared next to him, taking a look at Leo, only to turn around to Jason a moment later with anger gleaming in her eyes.

Jason knew that he lost a little bit of control over himself, but only now did he understand that it would have been better to have held back.

Sometimes it made sense to flaunt his prowess, and put annoying people in their place, but in other situations, one should rather refrain from doing something stupid.

“How dare you try to attack my disciple, the 21st Prince of the Aeus race?!”

Hearing this, Jason squinted his eyes, as he sighed inwardly, regretting having retaliated against Leo.

In the end, it was a stupid idea, but even then, Jason felt that he would have done so again if he were to choose once more.

There were certain things he had to keep up and protect, otherwise, it would be pointless to even bother about cultivating, to begin with!
