This man must be recording the villages destroyed by the Heavenly Court, but in the very next second, Adam realized he had guessed wrong, and he was wildly off the mark.

On the next page was also a densely packed list of village names, except every single one had been crossed out with a stroke, just like a Death Note, the man picked up his brush, drew a harsh line through Heavenlike Village, and a wicked smile crept onto his mouth.

"What a bunch of naive idiots!"

Seeing this, a chill surged through Adam’s heart.

He had thought this organization was secretly gathering strength to resist the Heavenly Court, but looking at it now, things were not as he had imagined.

This was another evil organization, and it was highly likely they were the Heavenly Court’s hunting dogs.

They were a faction with some secret agreement with the Heavenly Court, they deliberately released information to lure the dissatisfied into their ranks, feeding them hope, in doing so, they generated more Source.

This was the Heavenly Court’s usual trick, hope was merely a precursor to despair.

Adam had originally thought he found a breakthrough to leave this world, now it seemed this path would not be simple, he needed to re-evaluate and reformulate his plan, however, he had obtained useful information, at the very least, he knew the true face of this group, this would help his future actions greatly.

He decided to temporarily leave the cave and return to Heavenlike Village to ask the white-clad woman for clarification, he needed more information to make an accurate judgment, and he had to act carefully, this world seemed far more complex than he had imagined.

Perhaps in this world, only the victims could be trusted.

"As long as it is a village, it will eventually be harvested by the Heavenly Court, the important thing now isn’t blame, but finding a solution, let everyone speak their minds."

Silence again, what could they possibly do?

Lyra was quiet for a moment, then took a deep breath and spoke firmly. "Since things have come to this, we can only rely on ourselves, we can’t change the purge, but we can’t sit and wait for death either, even if we die, we cannot make it easy for them."

"Let’s all run! Flee to all corners of the world! With so many of us scattering, even if the Heavenly Court wants to hunt us down, it will take them a massive amount of time!"

The crowd looked at each other, it seemed this was their only option left.

Seeing no objections, the white-haired old man sighed and stood. "If there are no other solutions, then everyone hurry back and prepare, the Great Escape begins."

In a hidden corner of the meeting room, Adam listened to their exchange and sighed, the Heavenly Court truly caused immeasurable harm.

After everyone left, they began preparing for their escape, taking only bare essentials, they needed to run as far as possible.

Lyra returned to her empty home, her parents had been killed by the Heavenly Court long ago, if not for the village they cared about so deeply still being here, she would have gone to fight the Heavenly Court to the death long ago.

"Damn the Heavenly Court!"
