Global Survival: I Have Endless Skeletons
Chapter 681: Undead vs the Weepers
"Fuck it!" He cursed, his heart burning with annoyance.
Thoren had never been someone who enjoyed wasting his strength, especially when he knew nothing about the dangers lurking ahead.
However, watching his undead vanguard struggle against the Weepers while their deadly black tears threatened to dissolve everything they touched was quickly exhausting his patience.
Without hesitation, he released the five undead Thunderhide Rhinos.
Their massive bodies emerged from his Undead Space.
Even though he knew more abominations might be hiding in the lake, he did not care any longer.
He had already witnessed the strength of the Weepers, and allowing the battle to continue at its current pace would only put more of his undead servants at risk.
If the lake contained even more of these things, then he would deal with them when they appeared.
Right now, all he wanted was to end the battle as quickly as possible.
Thoren’s gaze swept across the battlefield before settling on a Weeper locked in combat with the undead Garron.
The creature was moving rapidly around Garron, using its elongated arms to strike from awkward angles while avoiding the undead warrior’s heavier attacks.
Each time undead Garron swung its massive butcher knife, the Weeper twisted its body and crawled away, only to return moments later with another vicious attack.
Thoren pointed his finger at the Weeper and issued a command.
"Kill!"
The five undead Thunderhide Rhinos immediately responded, lowering their massive heads as their enormous horns aligned toward the unsuspecting Weeper.
’I don’t believe you can withstand the combined attack of the five rhinos...’ A sneer appeared on his lips.
Thud! Thud!
The five undead Thunderhide Rhinos charged forward, their heavy hooves pounding against the stone ledge.
The ground trembled beneath their combined weight, and the sound of their approach echoed throughout the vast cavern.
Locked in battle with the undead Garron, the Weeper failed to discover the sudden arrival of the five undead beasts.
The Weeper twisted to the side, avoiding another heavy strike, and prepared to lunge at Garron again.
However, before it could complete its movement, the first undead Thunderhide Rhino arrived.
Its enormous horn slammed directly into the Weeper’s ribs.
Bang!
The impact was devastating.
The Weeper’s body was lifted from the ground and sent flying backward, its elongated limbs flailing helplessly as it crashed heavily onto the stone.
Many ribs broke apart on impact, and fragments of bone scattered across the ledge.
The Weeper attempted to move, dragging its broken limbs beneath its body as it struggled to recover.
Black tears dripped from its eye sockets, striking the stone and producing thin wisps of smoke.
Despite the damage it had suffered, the Weeper showed no sign of stopping, and its elongated fingers scraped against the ground as it tried to crawl forward.
Unfortunately for it, the second undead Thunderhide Rhino was already before it.
The undead Thunderhide Rhino lowered its head and charged without slowing down, its horn aimed directly at the Weeper’s exposed body.
Bang!
The second collision drove the creature back into the stone. Its already damaged ribs shattered further, while one of its elongated arms twisted beneath the weight of the impact.
The Weeper’s body bounced against the ground, and before it could regain its balance, the third Thunderhide Rhino arrived from another direction.
Bang!
The third undead rhino struck its side, sending another violent shockwave through its skeletal frame. More bones cracked, and its body was dragged across the ground by the force of the blow.
The fourth rhino followed immediately, giving the Weeper no opportunity to escape.
Its massive horn slammed into the creature’s lower body, crushing what remained of its weakened skeleton and throwing it toward the fifth beast.
Bang!
The fifth undead Thunderhide Rhino met it with another devastating charge.
By then, the Weeper could barely maintain the shape of its body.
Its ribs had been shattered, its elongated limbs were broken, and its skeletal frame had been reduced to a twisted collection of damaged bones.
The five massive beasts continued their relentless assault, trampling the stone around it and striking whenever the creature attempted to rise.
It was a brutal display of overwhelming strength.
Watching from a distance, Thoren finally felt some of the pressure in his chest ease. Quickly, he shifted his gaze to the five remaining Weepers.
With one Weeper gone, the pressure on the undead vanguard reduced greatly.
The remaining Weepers were still terrifying opponents, but the death of their companion had given Thoren’s undead servants a much-needed opportunity to regain control of the battlefield.
Quickly, the undead Garron joined the undead Elite Jackal Beastman, who was struggling against one of the Weepers.
With two undead working together, the Weeper was quickly put at a disadvantage. The undead Garron wielded his massive butcher knife with brutal power, forcing the Weeper to retreat.
Meanwhile, the undead Elite Jackal Beastman swung its deadly spike club, blocking the Weeper’s escape routes and preventing it from using its elongated limbs to gain an advantage.
The Weeper twisted its skeletal body and crawled backward, its black tears dripping onto the stone as it searched for an opening.
It wanted to use its speed to retreat, but how could Thoren allow it?
The undead Garron reacted without hesitation.
The undead Garron struck its skeletal leg with its massive butcher knife, sending it tumbling forward, where it met the deadly spike club of the undead Elite Jackal Beastman.
Bang! Bang!
The Weeper’s body crashed against the stone, its elongated limbs twisting beneath it as the impact sent fragments of bone scattering across the ground.
Before it could push itself upright, the undead Elite Jackal Beastman brought its spike club down again, smashing into its exposed ribs.
The undead Garron followed closely behind, swinging his butcher knife toward the creature’s torso and breaking apart another section of its fragile skeleton.
Butcher and spike club descended without ceasing, shattering the Weeper’s bones one after another.
Yet, the two undead warriors did not stop.
Before long, the Weeper was reduced to nothing more than a few scattered bones that could no longer move.
