Global Survival: I Have Endless Skeletons
Chapter 660: Killing the Two Fallen-Star Serpent
The enormous Fallen-Star Serpent slammed to the ground in grievous injury. The five undead Thunderhide Rhino were like sledgehammers ramming into its body continuously without end.
The two heads were battered beyond comparison. Scales and fleshed smashed into meat paste.
Blood splattered to the ground, flowing like a stream.
It twitched for a few seconds before it went still.
Instantly, the five undead Thunderhide Rhinos immediately shifted their attention toward the remaining Fallen-Star Serpent as they prepared to continue the assault.
Meanwhile, the undead Horn Lizard King and undead Scorpion Men King had engaged the third serpent in close combat.
The undead Horn Lizard King swung its cudgel with brutal force, forcing the serpent head to retreat whenever it attempted to strike.
The undead Scorpion Men King was equally ferocious; each punch slammed directly into one of the Fallen-Star Serpent heads.
It hissed continuously, baring its fangs trying to tear the undead arms into pieces.
Unfortunately, against undead.
Scratch and small injuries were nothing against them. As long as they remained standing, they would keep on fighting.
It was as simple as that.
The battle inside the cavern grew increasingly brutal as the undead army overwhelmed the Fallen-Star Serpents from every direction.
The Fallen-Star Serpents had initially tried to rely on their strange illusions to control the battlefield, but their abilities were useless against undead.
With their greatest advantage rendered meaningless, they could only try to use their fangs to tear off their opponent.
But would that work?
The second Fallen-Star Serpent hissed furiously as five powerful undead surrounded its enormous body.
Both of its heads twisted in different directions, attempting to keep track of the enemies approaching from every side, but the relentless attack left it with barely enough time to defend itself.
Hissssss!
Its right head suddenly lunged toward the undead Storm Tyrant, its jaws opening wide as it attempted to bite through the undead’s body.
However, the undead Storm Tyrant showed no intention of retreating.
It planted its feet firmly against the rocky ground, raised its enormous hammer, and brought the weapon down with terrifying force.
BOOM!
The hammer descended like a juggernaut, striking the serpent’s head with enough force to drive it against the ground.
The impact shook the surrounding rocks, and the serpent’s neck buckled beneath the tremendous blow.
Before it could recover, the undead Royalty Stonewall appeared on its flank.
Its dark blade flashed beneath the Soul Lantern’s pale illumination, cutting through the air with a sharp whistle before disappearing behind the serpent’s massive body.
A moment later, the blade reappeared from another angle, striking the exposed scales along its side.
The serpent twisted violently, attempting to retaliate against the attacker that kept appearing and disappearing from its field of vision.
Yet every time it turned its head toward the undead Royalty Stonewall, the undead had already changed position, leaving behind another wound before the serpent could respond.
The Fallen-Star Serpent roared and swung its tail across the battlefield.
The undead Royalty Stonewall stepped aside, allowing the enormous tail to smash against the rocky ground.
Fragments of stone scattered through the air, but before the serpent could withdraw its tail, the undead Storm Tyrant’s hammer came crashing down again.
BANG!
The impact struck the serpent’s exposed neck, forcing its head sideways and disrupting its attempt to regain control of the battle.
That brief opening was all the other undead needed.
The undead Kharv and undead General advanced toward the serpent’s left head, their weapons raised as they moved in perfect coordination.
The undead Kharv’s axe descended first, its heavy blade cutting toward the side of the serpent’s neck with enough force to split through its scales.
Scared, the serpent attempted to pull back.
The undead General was already waiting.
Its massive saber flashed forward, striking the same area before the serpent could escape the attack.
The combined force of the axe and saber tore through the damaged scales, sending dark blood splattering across the rocky ground.
Hissss!
The serpent’s second head immediately turned toward them, its jaws snapping as it attempted to catch the two undead warriors before they could attack again.
However, the undead Garron had already moved behind its enormous body.
Carrying its massive butcher knife, the undead Garron advanced with frightening speed.
It raised the heavy blade and brought it down against the serpent’s exposed rear section, producing a sickening impact that echoed throughout the cavern.
CHOP!
The serpent’s body convulsed but the undead Garron did not stop.
He struck again, then again, each strike landing against the same general area as he relentlessly exploited the opening.
The Fallen-Star Serpent attempted to twist around and face him, but doing so exposed its other side to the undead Royalty Stonewall and left its two heads vulnerable to the Storm Tyrant’s crushing hammer.
The serpent was being attacked from every direction.
It was hell.
It could neither concentrate on a single enemy nor find enough space to escape.
Its two heads released overlapping cries of fury as it thrashed against the rocky ground, smashing its tail into nearby pillars and attempting to throw the undead away.
Yet the five undead remained close, attacking in turns.
The undead Storm Tyrant’s hammer descended again.
BOOM!
One of the serpent’s heads slammed against the ground.
At the same moment, the undead Kharv drove his axe into its damaged neck, while the undead General followed with another powerful saber strike.
On the second head flank, the undead Garron’s butcher knife came crashing down from behind, and the Royalty Stonewall’s dark blade flashed across its exposed body.
The attacks landed almost simultaneously.
The Fallen-Star Serpent released a final, miserable hiss as its enormous body collapsed beneath the combined attack.
Its two heads struck the ground, and the strange light in its eyes gradually faded. Within a few seconds, the second Fallen-Star Serpent had been killed.
It might seem a lot of time had passed but the battle was barely a minute. And yet, two Fallen-Star Serpents had fallen.
The undead vanguard did not linger over the corpse.
As soon as the serpent stopped moving, they turned their attention toward the remaining battles, ready to assist the other undead.
