"The Spiral Maze has many different exits. Leaving through different tiers of exits grants different tiers of rewards.

Low-tier exits are the most numerous, but leaving through one only gets you some Spiral Maze memorabilia, which basically amounts to a wasted trip.

Mid-tier exits are fewer, and there might be some dangerous terrain nearby. Leaving through one grants a gift from the Spiral Maze.

High-tier exits are even rarer, and there will be dangerous terrain and spiral creatures nearby. Moreover, every time a high-tier exit is used, it moves to another location.

Finally, there are the true exits of the Spiral Maze, the Spiral Wonders. I don't know much about the Spiral Wonders either. I've only heard they're extremely dangerous. Inside the Spiral Maze, you can't use spiritual energy or mental energy, and one careless mistake could get you killed.

The tendril monster let out an excited screech. It had been a long time since it had encountered such a big-spending customer.

"Can I take a look at all three places? Or do I have to pick one first?"

Just from the names, Lin Ye had no idea what those places were like.

"The areas around the Spiral Wonders are all dangerous terrain. If you want to visit all three, you'll have to pay 150 Trade points."

The tendril monster swayed its body, its sliding speed increasing slightly.

"Then let's head to the Spiral City first. If it doesn't work out, I'll switch to another place."

Lin Ye still had tens of thousands of Trade points, so this was hardly worth worrying about.

"Alright, hold on tight!"

The tendril monster began to accelerate, having been in a relaxed state before.

A mass of tendrils wrapped around Lin Ye's body, securing him firmly to the monster.

Lin Ye noticed the tendril monster was changing shape, transforming into some kind of spiral structure.

The entire passageway began to rotate at increasing speed, and the surrounding scenery gradually blurred into an indistinct mess.

Lin Ye experienced this rapidly spinning world. The airflow around him didn't slam into his body; instead, it was deflected behind them by the tendril monster.

In less than ten minutes, the tendril monster began to slow down, finally stopping next to a door.

"Is this the Spiral Wonder?"

This door looked no different from any other door. Lin Ye had expected something more special.

"No, this is the entrance to a sightseeing zone. Want to go in and take a look around? The admission ticket only costs two Trade points."

The tendril monster opened the door, revealing a vast space inside. Lin Ye could see a place somewhat resembling a theme park.

"Since we're here anyway... You don't get a commission, do you?"

Lin Ye spotted a pink tendril monster selling admission tickets at the theme park's entrance.

"No commission. It's a family business."

The tendril monster let out a somewhat proud sound.

"Alright then, let's go check it out."

Several Humanoid Figures were queuing at the ticket booth, and Lin Ye was somewhat interested in this place as well.

The tendril monster brought Lin Ye straight through the ticket booth without even buying a ticket.

So it really wasn't about commission.

The theme park's interior was enormous. Stretching out before them, the park's boundaries were nowhere in sight.

As soon as he entered the park, Lin Ye received flyers distributed by some small tendril monsters.

Twisted characters were drawn on them, accompanied by matching pictures.

"Oh, there's a place here to see spiral creatures?"

Lin Ye immediately spotted the bizarrely twisted creatures in the pictures.

"Mm, the Spiral Creature Exhibition Hall is our flagship attraction. Many people come specifically to pick out their preferred spiral creatures. All our spiral creatures are non-aggressive ornamental beings, completely safe."

The tendril monster pulled out a small brochure and started pitching spiral creatures to Lin Ye.

Many tourists were sightseeing in the theme park. These tourists came from all sorts of different races, most of them Humanoid Figures.

"I'd like to get something to eat first. Is there anything here I can eat?"

Lin Ye was feeling a bit hungry. He still had to check out the Spiral Wonder later, so it was best to replenish his energy first.

"Of course we do. We have safe food that ordinary creatures can eat. It's all included in the admission ticket, free of charge. Eat as much as you want."

The tendril monster pulled Lin Ye into a spiral restaurant, and soon a small tendril monster came over to take his order.

"One Spiral Combo Meal, safe version, plus a Spiral Ice Cream."

Lin Ye was the only customer in the restaurant. He had no idea whether the pictures on the menu were merely for reference.

No tourists approached the restaurant. That fact made Lin Ye a bit uneasy.

If it weren't free, Lin Ye would have assumed this was one of those overpriced tourist trap restaurants.

"Please don't misunderstand. There's nothing wrong with the restaurant's food. It's just that this restaurant only serves guests who pay with Trade points, like yourself."

The tendril monster explained.

Not every tourist could conduct transactions with Trade points.

"I see."

Lin Ye felt there might be some markup involved here, but this amount of Trade points was hardly a problem for him. As long as the service provided enough value, he wouldn't mind.

Soon, the small tendril monster set the combo meal before Lin Ye. It included a red spiral steak, a large bowl of purple spiral stew, and a cup of brown spiral iced drink.

The cutlery consisted of knife and fork with spiral structures, along with a soup spoon. Lin Ye cut into the spiral steak and discovered that the inside of the steak really did have a rotating spiral structure.

Just cutting into the steak released a rich, savory aroma.

Truly worthy of a spiral theme park.

Lin Ye carved off a piece of steak and put it in his mouth. The steak rotated slowly in his mouth, and every chew burst with rich juices. The flavor was quite excellent.

"Never thought food could be prepared this way. I've learned something."

If he could use mental energy, Lin Ye could produce an identical steak, but the chefs here couldn't use mental energy, which required a certain level of skill.

Lin Ye looked up. He felt something rotating in that direction.

"Oh, that's an aerial facility still under construction. I think it's called the Aerial Spiral Slide. Want to give it a try? It's free."

The tendril monster recommended it to Lin Ye.

"No thanks. I don't want to get sent off by a slide."

Lin Ye had absolutely no desire to try out some novel new way to die.
