Global Shelter Game
Chapter 114 - 113: Attribute Improvement
Chapter 114: Chapter 113: Attribute Improvement
With everything arranged, the group quickly went to rest.
Since the dormitory only had four beds, Ye Yun and Lina, in a gesture of courtesy, didn’t take any. They slept on the floor in the main hall, leaving the beds for the others.
After all, the exploration team had been roughing it in the wild for two full days and were exhausted. It wouldn’t be right to make them sleep on the floor too.
While the others rested, Ye Yun reviewed their latest haul.
Because both bases had reached their android capacity, Ye Yun had no choice but to reluctantly dismantle the three captured androids into wreckage. He stored them in the warehouse, waiting for a future upgrade that would increase the capacity limit so he could repair them.
Other than that, the haul was pretty good.
Two [Construction Robot Wreckage (Green)]
One [Advanced Android Core (Blue)]
Two Blue weapons, one piece of Blue armor, and a few pieces of Green equipment.
Five Blue components, 58 Green components, and a number of White components.
The overall gains were decent, but if it weren’t for the need to eliminate threats, spending two days for these materials wouldn’t have been very cost-effective.
But it couldn’t be helped. The thought of other shelters lurking nearby, eyeing them covetously, always left Ye Yun feeling a little uneasy.
He then threw all the equipment with poor stats onto the exchange to sell them off.
Ye Yun picked up the [Advanced Android Core (Blue)].
[You have used [Advanced Android Core (Blue)].]
[[Advanced Android Core (Blue)] used successfully. Charisma attribute increased, 5 > 6.]
Name: Ye Yun
ID: 9545
Strength: 6
Perception: 6
Stamina: 6
Charisma: 6
Intelligence: 5
Agility: 5
Luck: 5
Radiation: 0%
Satiety: 100/100
Hydration: 100/100
’Good. Now I just need three more, and all my stats will be at 6.’
He was now looking forward to seeing what would happen once all his stats reached 6.
When the androids’ stats were all upgraded from 3 to 4, they unlocked the card slot function.
’So what about me?’
’What new ability will I get when all my stats hit 6?’
The shelter was certainly safe enough, but staying cooped up inside made Ye Yun develop an unconscious desire to go out and see the world.
However, his rational mind stopped him from doing so.
He was still too weak. Leaving the shelter recklessly would be far too dangerous.
He wouldn’t be leaving for the time being, not unless he became strong enough.
「The next morning.」
Everyone woke up early. After a night’s rest, they had all regained their energy.
Ye Yun entered a new command into his wristband.
[Assessment Type: Travel]
[Assessing operation risk...]
[Assessment: White Item Probability 0%, Green Item Probability 0%, Blue Item Probability: 0%, Purple Item Probability: 0%, Risk Factor: 8.113%]
Seeing the risk factor as high as 8%, Ye Yun sighed. ’I guess I was being too naive.’
Sara and Lina’s stats were on the low side. It wouldn’t be feasible for the two of them to go alone, even equipped with modified motorcycles.
Ye Yun deleted the last command and entered a new one.
[Assessment Type: Travel]
[Assessing operation risk...]
[Assessment: White Item Probability 0%, Green Item Probability 0%, Blue Item Probability: 0%, Purple Item Probability: 0%, Risk Factor: 0.0113%]
’Alright, a quick round trip should only take half a day. Safety is the top priority.’
Once he confirmed the trip was safe, Ye Yun immediately sent the team on their way.
"Be careful on the road. Stay safe."
Bena nodded. "Don’t worry, we will."
With that, Bena set off with Zhou Mei and the others.
The trip went off without a hitch. Half a day later, all five of them returned safely to the main shelter.
Seeing the travel-worn group, Ye Yun decided not to schedule any more away missions for the time being.
They had a very important task to carry out: testing the effectiveness of the training rooms.
Four training rooms had been built in the main shelter.
A weight room, a gymnastics room, a gym, and a shooting range, for training Strength, Agility, Stamina, and Perception, respectively.
[Weight Room (Green)]
[Inactive]
[Effect: When activated, can increase a normal person’s Strength attribute. Consumes a certain amount of resources.]
[Maintenance Requirements]:
[Normal Human: 1] [0/1]
[Power: 1 point/hour]
Ye Yun had a clear plan and vision for the future development of his team members.
If the training process were easy, comprehensive development would naturally be the ideal state. His ultimate goal was to build a team of perfectly well-rounded warriors.
However, he knew this was just an idealistic wish; in reality, more practical arrangements had to be made.
Therefore, he planned to tailor training regimens for each person to play to their individual strengths.
Bena, as the team’s frontliner, acted as the main tank and primary attacker. Ye Yun planned to enhance his Strength and Stamina.
Zhou Mei’s Perception and Agility were quite good, so Ye Yun assigned her to train Agility.
After all, as any martial arts enthusiast knows, speed is king. Once your speed reaches a certain threshold, you gain a massive advantage in battle.
High Agility not only brings fast movement speed but also swift reaction time and attack speed, which are extremely helpful for dodging and landing combos in combat.
As for Lanton, while his Charisma was high, his other stats were mediocre. Ye Yun planned to train him as an off-tank.
Currently, Lanton’s Stamina was lacking, so Ye Yun decided to prioritize raising it.
Following Ye Yun’s meticulous arrangements, the three of them entered their respective training rooms.
Using the training rooms required not only a time investment but also a large amount of resources.
[Bena’s Strength has reached 8. Upgrading to 9 requires 10 Blue components.]
[This training session is estimated to last 12 hours.]
[After the training is complete, a 24-hour rest period is required.]
[Activate [Weight Room (Green)] to begin training?]
[Yes]
Although the resource consumption was steep, Ye Yun believed it was worth it, as this kind of improvement would bring long-term benefits.
The requirements for the other training rooms were the same: each session lasted 12 hours, followed by a 24-hour cooldown period.
This meant that each person could only use a training room once every day and a half, an arrangement that ensured both the sustainability and efficiency of their training.
「Six hours passed quickly.」
