Chapter 438 208: Making a Getaway

With the enemy's route confirmed, Li Ziyu gathered the Skeleton Shooter-1 Types.

'You dumbass. Time for a big surprise!'

He Zhiping had a bad feeling, but it was too late. The Dragon Lizard Cavalry had already cut through the Skeleton Undead and, covered in blood, continued their Charge.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!—

A series of explosions rang out amidst swirling gunpowder smoke. The Dragon Rider Cavalry at the forefront were instantly sent tumbling, men and beasts alike, as countless bloody blossoms erupted from their bodies.

'Guns?!'

He Zhiping was dumbfounded, completely frozen in place.

He had thought the arrow volley was surprising enough, but the Undead actually had guns? And weren't those guns a bit too powerful?

The Dragon Rider Cavalry charged forward only to be blasted to death, their momentum instantly halted.

With the charge blocked, the Elite Heavy Hammer Skeleton Warriors swung their great hammers and advanced to meet the subsequent wave of Dragon Lizard Knights.

This was a slaughter.

He Zhiping wished he could slap himself. He had been wrong. Not only had he underestimated his enemy, but he had actively jumped into their trap. Now, even if they broke through, his Warriors would suffer catastrophic losses. His Cavalry might even be wiped out completely!

He couldn't think about anything else. He ordered his Mobile Fortress to advance at full speed. 'The losses are what they are, and I can't save them,' he thought. 'I have to at least escape myself!'

Seeing this, Li Ziyu prepared to intercept him, but just then, he received a private message from Batubohe.

[Private Message]

Soaring Eagle: Brother Li, be careful of his fortress! It has a direct Active attack capability!

Don't Want to Get a Driver's License: What?

Soaring Eagle: Look at his fortress, it's a dinosaur! That creature is alive, you'd better not move your fortress too close! The guards next to the fortress will also actively attack any fortress that gets near.

'Holy shit!'

Li Ziyu jumped in alarm.

The Dragon Lizard Fortress was built on the back of a colossal Triceratops. Li Ziyu had assumed the Triceratops's only function was to carry the Fortress forward; he never imagined it could also be used for offense.

Every Mobile Fortress had its own unique feature.

The Dragon Lizard Fortress, for example, had a Triceratops with innate offensive capabilities and guardian Tyrannosauruses right from the start. He Zhiping had relied on this Triceratops and the guardian Tyrannosauruses to survive the early stages. It was a considerable advantage.

He Zhiping no longer cared about the lives of his Dragon Lizard Knights. He ordered the Fortress to Charge forward, and the Triceratops and its guardian Tyrannosauruses officially joined the battle.

No matter which Undead stood in its way, the Triceratops lowered its head and charged fiercely. 'It doesn't matter how strong you are, you're not stronger than me!' Yes, that was its aura!

Forget the Skeleton Undead; even the Elite Heavy Hammer Skeleton Warriors couldn't stop the Triceratops. If it were a normal Triceratops, they could have figured out a way to kill it, but they were utterly helpless against this one. For one simple reason: it was just too massive.

It was a Godzilla in the shape of a Triceratops. With its head lowered, its three horns acted like a bulldozer, sending Undead flying and crushing them wherever it passed. The two guardian Tyrannosauruses were no less fearsome, tearing and biting, swinging their thick tails. No Undead could even get close.

Seeing this scene, Li Ziyu sucked in a sharp breath. Thank goodness for Batubohe's warning. If he had rushed over rashly, his Undead Fortress might have been dismantled.

To this day, his Undead Fortress still lacked any effective means of attack. It still relied on the Sea of the Dead, which was no match for the Dragon Lizard Fortress's Triceratops and Tyrannosauruses.

Batubohe could actually handle the Dragon Lizard Fortress. His Golden Khan City also had a Giant Beast. Don't be fooled by the fact that they were horses; their combat power was not to be underestimated.

He was currently steering his Mobile Fortress forward, but unfortunately, he was too far away to help in time. All he could do was watch anxiously, unable to do a thing.

With Li Ziyu not daring to advance and Batubohe unable to arrive, He Zhiping had it easy. No one could stop him. He had his Tyrannosauruses take out a good number of Elite Heavy Hammer Skeleton Warriors, then seized the opportunity before Batubohe could arrive to charge into the Desolate Land of Death and make his escape.
