The crystals gave off a faint glow, a clear sign they were no ordinary objects. Since they were growing right where the Ghosts gathered, the Fox Maidens suspected they might be the Soul Crystals Li Ziyu was searching for. That was why they had rushed over to tell him.

After hearing Mei Ji's explanation, Li Ziyu felt it was entirely possible. Death Breath Crystals were formed when the Soul Coffin collected and condensed the death breath emitted by Ghosts. Perhaps Soul Crystals were created in the same way.

With millions of Ghosts gathered together, even if they were just unconsciously releasing energy, the sheer quantity and long period of accumulation made it absolutely possible for Soul Crystals to grow within the mountain.

"Let's go. We'll go take a look right now!" Li Ziyu made a swift decision to enter the mountain and search for the faintly glowing crystals the Fox Maidens had described.

He led the Fox Maidens back into the Wraith Mountain Range through the tunnel the Undead used for transporting skeletons. Along the way, the Fox Maidens were quite emotional. This was the very place that had trapped them, where they had lived for countless years. Since leaving, they had never imagined they would come back.

Upon entering the innermost chamber, even though the Undead had been transporting skeletons nonstop, the pile had barely shrunk. It was still a mountain of bones. Seeing so many skeletons, Li Ziyu couldn't help but smile.

To others, a mountain of gold and silver was a treasure. But to him, these skeletons were the real treasure—no, he wouldn't trade them even for a mountain of gold and silver!

"Which way now?" Li Ziyu looked up at the mountain of skeletons, then turned to the four Fox Maidens behind him.

"Master, don't be so impatient," Mei Ji said with a playful pout. "We haven't been back in a long time. Let us get our bearings first." She then gave Ice Princess a meaningful look.

Ice Princess immediately dove into the Bone Mountain and vanished. They were all in Spirit Body form, so neither the mountain of bones nor the earth of the Wraith Mountain Range could stop them.

After a good while, Ice Princess emerged from the Bone Mountain and reappeared before Li Ziyu.

"Did you find them?" Li Ziyu asked, stepping forward eagerly.

"I did. They're everywhere, but there's a higher concentration over there," Ice Princess said, pointing in a specific direction for Li Ziyu.

Nothing more to be said. Dig!

Li Ziyu summoned over a dozen Skeleton Undead and ordered them to start digging in the direction Ice Princess had indicated.

The dozen or so Skeleton Undead silently moved forward and began to dig. However, there were too many skeletons in their path. They spent a long time digging through bones but made little progress. The sheer volume of bones blocked them like a solid wall, and continuing like this risked causing the entire pile to collapse.

Li Ziyu thought for a moment, then summoned more Skeleton Undead to work together. Their task was not only to dig a tunnel but also to build supports so the Bone Mountain wouldn't collapse.

Outside this cavern was a thick layer of earth. If the support failed and the cavern collapsed, it would be a complete disaster.

With the extra help, the Skeleton Undead's Speed increased. As they dug inward, they set up sturdy bones as support beams for the surrounding pile, gradually forming a mine-like tunnel through the Bone Mountain that led directly toward the mountain wall.

After two straight hours of digging, a Skeleton Undead came to report that they had reached the earth layer. Li Ziyu had Ice Princess go inside to guide the Skeleton Undead on where to dig next.

Ice Princess nodded and floated into the mine shaft.

Li Ziyu waited anxiously outside. Before long, Ice Princess floated out, followed by a Skeleton Undead that stumbled unsteadily over the Bone Mountain to stand before him.

"Did you find it?" Li Ziyu asked hurriedly.

"I have not failed my mission," Ice Princess said with a nod, motioning for the Skeleton Undead to step forward.

The Skeleton Undead shambled over and opened its palm in front of Li Ziyu. In its hand, it held a palm-sized, rhomboid Crystal, which it presented for Li Ziyu to see.
