Global Lords: My Territory Heart Is a World Tree
Chapter 453 - 37: Going on the Offensive
Chapter 453: Chapter 37: Going on the Offensive
Thanks to the Divine Hall blueprints deliberately released by Al and the other lords who had pledged allegiance to Lin Yu, some of the Titan Race nobles were also able to acquire Temple Guards. In the war against the Civilian Lords, the nobles gradually began to regain the upper hand.
An envoy from Kazaria arrived in Als Territory and sought out Al.
"Mica, what is it? You want to buy more Divine Hall blueprints?"
"I already told you, we don’t have any more in stock."
Al knew why Mica had come, so he cut him off before he could even start.
"Bastard! If you’re out, then why do you still have blueprints to sell to the nobles?" Mica had come precisely because he discovered the nobles’ Divine Hall blueprints were being sold by Al, so naturally, he didn’t believe a word he said.
"Honestly, you commoners just don’t know how to be subtle, do you?" Al said with an exasperated expression. "So what if I was the one who sold them?"
He then pulled out several Divine Hall blueprints. "Take back what you just said, and I might just sell you some more."
"I’m sorry, Lord Al! It’s all my fault, I have a big mouth. Please, be the bigger man and forgive my foolishness." As he spoke, Mica slapped himself across the face a few times. SMACK. SMACK. SMACK.
"Heh, now that’s more like it!"
"But, buying these Divine Hall blueprints won’t be cheap, you know!"
"I saved these especially for you, but this really is the last batch."
"So... the price is going up!"
"No problem! Name your price!"
...
After some haggling, Mica happily returned with the Divine Hall blueprints.
After receiving the Divine Hall blueprints, Kazaria gave up on the idea of exposing Al and the others for pledging allegiance to a third party.
It wasn’t that he had been bought by Al. As a rebel leader, he knew that if it meant a chance to strike at his enemies, credibility was expendable; he could always just find a mouthpiece.
The main reason was that he knew the nobles’ moral standards were so low that it wouldn’t matter. Forget the fact that he had no proof—so what if he did?
For the nobles, as long as an action was beneficial, wasn’t blatant treason, didn’t harm other lords, and didn’t challenge the royal family’s authority, the royals would turn a blind eye to their various shady dealings.
After all, under the feudal system of the Titan Race, a lord was the supreme authority within their own territory. Even if a higher-ranking noble were to enter their domain, they would still have to abide by the local lord’s rules.
Of course, if you angered a high-ranking noble and they wiped out your entire family, no one would step in to defend you.
Once the Civilian Lords had bolstered their ranks with a certain number of Temple Guards, the conflict between the two factions became deadlocked once again.
On the battlefield, whoever had more Temple Guards held the advantage.
As a result, both sides grew more cautious. Reconnaissance and intelligence gathering became paramount before any engagement.
This, however, did not align with Lin Yu’s goals. To intensify the conflict among the Titan Race, he ordered the Bee Swarm Gluttonous Slimes to launch a massive attack.
In the southern part of the Titan Continent, during a lull in the fighting, vast numbers of Gluttonous Slimes launched a Slime tide.

Kirk: "Those Slime Monsters are rampaging again!"
Kirk: "They’re starting to attack the city!"
Sankrug: "I thought you all were clearing out those Slime Monsters every day."
Sankrug: "Weren’t they not supposed to attack cities and seize territory once their numbers were thinned out?"
Kirk: "I don’t know. Everything was fine before, but for some reason, the number of these Slime Monsters suddenly exploded today, and they just started attacking the city."
Sankrug: "I bet someone’s moving those Slime Monsters around again."
Kirk: "Who is it?! Don’t they know I’m massing my army to go wipe out those plebeians?"
Kirk: "Show yourself! Otherwise, once I finish off these Slime Monsters, you’re next!"
...: "Stop yelling. Haven’t you noticed all the neighboring lords are busy?"
...: "It’s not just your territory. The Slime Monsters are rampaging everywhere. We’re all busy defending our lands right now!"
...: "Exactly. If you finish up and have nothing better to do, come lend a hand instead of just shouting in the channel!"
...: "I’m barely holding on over here! Can anyone send support?!"
...: "Me too! These Slime Monsters are so powerful. Do they seem even stronger than before??"
...
After Kirk’s messages, several other lords spoke up in the Titan Race chat channel. Everyone had been caught completely off guard by the sudden Slime Monster outbreak.
Previously, with the proliferation of Gravity Cannons and the increased number of Temple Guards, these Slime Monsters had been reduced to little more than low-level mobs for lords to farm.
As long as you were careful and didn’t attack large clusters of them, it was perfectly safe.
The overall Slime Monster population in their territories had been well-managed, so no one expected them to suddenly rampage.
Moreover, the rampaging Slime Monsters were far stronger than usual. Even with the buffs from their Temple Guards, the lords were struggling to defend their cities.

Sankrug: "Something’s not right. This looks like someone is deliberately stirring up trouble."
Sankrug: "According to what Keze said before, these Slime Monsters don’t attack cities for no reason. @Keze, am I right?"
Keze: "I think so too, because the Slime Monsters in my territory are rampaging as well!"
Keze: "Luckily, some of the Slime Monsters I feed every day are helping me fend them off."
Sankrug: "Keze, have you given up on trying to advance? Why are you still messing around?"
Keze: "It’s fine. My family has plenty of lords, they won’t miss one."
Keze: "Right, Cousin Diados?"
