Chapter 612. The Celestial Court Sets Out, Vast Purple Qi

The Celestial Court had changed dramatically. In terms of overall strength, it no longer fell short of any of the top hundred starfields. With Lu Yuan included, it could even contend with the top ten.

Everyone acknowledged this. Now, it was time to display the true depth of the Celestial Court's strength.

Before this, the Outer Cosmos beings had considered the Celestial Court powerful but still immature. Its reserves had seemed rather limited. Although the beings of the various starfields were wary of it, they did not truly fear it.

That was why some of them had still obeyed when the Ji Clan and the Eternals descended and demanded their aid. After considering their options, they had concluded that the Celestial Court could not compare with those two ancient forces.

Now, Lu Yuan intended to change that perception and make the Celestial Court's strength impossible to ignore.

On this day, every core member gathered on Jade Emperor Peak of Mount Tai. The Eternal Warship hovered above them, and presented an imposing sight.

At Zhu Qingyu's command, everyone boarded the warship and set out for Mount Kunlun.

Lu Yuan and Jiang Ningxian were naturally aboard as well. By now, Lu Yuan rarely involved himself in the Celestial Court's day-to-day affairs. He had entrusted most matters to those beneath him and delegated nearly all of his authority.

He had never cared much for power. Even establishing the Celestial Court had only been a means of protecting the people more effectively. Everyone in the Celestial Court understood this, and they respected their true leader all the more for it.

"This time, you really mean to make the Celestial Court's name known. If we can survive the crisis brought by the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, the Milky Way Starfield might truly enter the ranks of the top ten starfields."

Jiang Ningxian understood Lu Yuan's intentions. She looked at him with a smile, feeling deeply moved and a little wistful.

When she first descended to Earth, the beings here had only just begun cultivating, and many of them had been extremely weak. She had thought the Milky Way Starfield still had a long road ahead of it.

Who could have imagined that everything would change so completely in such a short time? And it had all happened under Lu Yuan's leadership.

"As you said, if we can safely overcome this crisis, I won't be able to remain at the Celestial Court forever. Consider this part of the preparations I'm making before I leave."

Lu Yuan knew he could not remain the so-called Lord of the Celestial Court forever. There were many things he had no desire to manage, which was why he had entrusted them to Zhu Qingyu. He was simply making those arrangements a little earlier than expected.

Jiang Ningxian nodded. She had understood his intentions from the beginning.

Neither of them spoke again. They simply looked ahead.

Even without Lu Yuan controlling it personally, the Eternal Warship traveled at astonishing speed. The journey from Mount Tai to Mount Kunlun took only half a day.

After repeated Awakenings, Earth had expanded until it was nearly as large as the Sun had once been. Crossing such an immense distance in half a day showed just how fast the Eternal Warship was.

Meanwhile, several hundred thousand beings from the various starfields had gathered at Mount Kunlun. Some stood on the ground, while others hovered in the sky. Every one of them stared in astonishment at the same place.

Purple radiance continually surged from one of Mount Kunlun's main peaks. Vast waves of purple qi spread without end, dyeing the entire sky purple. Everyone could sense that some immensely powerful force was taking shape within it.

"Is that really the Great Age's Providence? If we obtain it, won't we rise to greatness overnight?"

"It must be. We've been on Earth for so long that I thought it was only a legend. I never expected it to actually appear."

"The great calamity is about to arrive. We have to seize this opportunity."

Expectant voices rose throughout the crowd. Everyone knew how precious the Great Age's Providence was. If one faction obtained all of it, the power might be enough to elevate its home into one of the top ten starfields.

This was precisely why the beings of the various starfields had descended to Earth. Now that the Great Age's Providence was about to emerge, a life-changing opportunity stood before them.

They might have to confront the Celestial Court directly, but the stakes were too high for them to remain passive. Who would willingly let such an opportunity slip away?

Rumble!

At that moment, a roar rolled across the sky. A powerful force slowly descended, and a terrifying aura filled Mount Kunlun.

Everyone looked up in confusion. An instant later, their expressions changed to shock.

A colossal warship was tearing through the distant sky. Figures lined its deck, radiating overwhelming might.

The warship had once belonged to the Eternals. But after the previous battle, everyone knew what its appearance now signified.

The Celestial Court.

Unease spread through the crowd. The Celestial Court had become immensely powerful and now had Immortal Realm experts of its own. Everyone had expected it to appear once the Great Age's Providence emerged, but no one had anticipated such an imposing arrival.

"Look. The one at the front seems to be Lu Yuan, the Lord of the Celestial Court."

"I didn't expect him to come in person."

"Then the Great Age's Providence..."

Some of the beings gathered there had been determined to obtain the Great Age's Providence. However, their confidence vanished the moment Lu Yuan appeared

Four Celestial Seat Immortals had died in that previous battle. Everyone knew that the Lord of the Celestial Court had already become one of the strongest figures in this universe.

Lu Yuan had undoubtedly come for the Great Age's Providence as well. Anyone who tried to seize it would have to face not only the Celestial Court, but Lu Yuan himself. What chance would they have?

The crowd exchanged uneasy looks. Even if every starfield present joined forces, they would probably still be no match for him.

As for the Great Age's Providence...

Those who had once attacked the Celestial Court felt a chill run through them. They could not help wondering whether Lu Yuan would use this opportunity to settle their old grudges.
