Genshin Impact : Eerie Teyvat
Chapter 604: Captain Capitano
After hearing Mavuika’s explanation, Su Yuan finally understood.
In truth, the Ancient Name itself did not possess any kind of overwhelming power.
It was, at its core, a spirit of inheritance… a legacy of will.
If anything, the greatest significance of the Ancient Name was that during the Night Warden Wars, it allowed one to be revived through the Ode of Resurrection.
What was truly special were the six heroes who once fought side by side with Mavuika five hundred years ago.
Their Ancient Names were the ones passed down.
And now, the ones who inherited those six Ancient Names would become the new heroes of this era, who would stand alongside Mavuika to resist the Abyss and save Natlan.
So in reality, Su Yuan’s own Ancient Name was not particularly extraordinary.
It was simply a symbol.
“…Then, Mavuika, according to what you’ve said… Natlan will be destroyed in less than a year.”
Su Yuan continued to ask, “So, have the six new heroes all been found?”
“Unfortunately, no.”
Mavuika shook her head with a helpless sigh.
“As of now, only four souls recognized by the Great Spirit have appeared. They are: Mualani of the People of the Springs, Xilonen of the Children of Echoes, Kinich of the Scions of the Canopy, and Iansan of the Collective of Plenty.”
“There are still two heroes who have not been found…”
Hearing this, Su Yuan couldn’t help but furrow his brows.
The crisis was already urgent, yet two heroes still remained unknown…
He couldn’t help but think: If only the version of the game in his original world had already updated to Natlan… If so, he would already know who the remaining heroes were.
That would save so much time.
Just as the group was considering their next move, an urgent voice came from outside the room:
“Lady Mavuika, emergency!!”
“A message just came from the Sacred Flame Arena — the Fatui have surrounded the entire arena!!!”
“And the First of the Harbingers, the Captain Capitano, has appeared there!!!”
“The Fatui? They’re bold indeed. To surround the Sacred Flame Arena itself… are they declaring war on Natlan?”
Mavuika’s expression darkened.
“Everyone, I have no time to talk further. I must return to the Arena immediately!”
“We’re coming too!”
Su Yuan, Aether, Paimon, and Mualani responded all at once.
“Very well. There’s no time. Get on my bike!”
Mavuika led them outside the Flowing Springs settlement and summoned her motorcycle.
“With this many people it might get a little cramped, but bear with it. Hold on tight — we’re taking off.”
The rear wings of the motorcycle unfolded, and flames erupted, producing massive thrust.
The bike lifted straight off the ground and shot toward the Sacred Flame Arena at incredible speed.
At this moment, Su Yuan only wanted to scream internally:
So everything Xilonen said was real…
Flying motorcycles… actually exist…
If this were back in his old world — modified vehicle, unlicensed flight, no helmets, and overloaded passengers — how many points would his license lose?
How much would the fine be? Would he be thrown in jail for a few days?
But this was Teyvat. Different world. Different rules.
With the air-bike’s speed, they soon arrived near the Sacred Flame Arena.
However, to their confusion, the area around the arena looked completely normal.
There were no signs of the Fatui surrounding it at all.
“That’s strange… The Sacred Flame Arena looks perfectly normal. Was the information false?”
Mavuika frowned.
Just then, the volunteer from before — Bayajida — spotted them and hurried over.
“Lady Mavuika! You finally returned!”
“Oh, and Su Yuan and the Traveler too! To think you already know the Pyro Archon — as expected of the Traveler who makes friends across the world!”
“No, no, that’s not the point! I have important news!”
Bayajida steadied himself, then spoke with a grave expression:
“Lady Mavuika, the First of the Fatui Harbingers, the renowned Captain Capitano, arrived at the Sacred Flame Arena just now. It seems he has something important he wishes to discuss with you.”
Everyone was stunned.
So the information wasn’t entirely false — there was no siege, but Capitano really had come.
At that moment, Su Yuan felt a surge of excitement mixed with tension.
He was finally going to meet the Capitano — the strongest among the Harbingers, the one known for honor and upright conduct.
And Su Yuan also had a question he wanted to ask him — back in Fontaine, when “The Knave” Arlecchino left and met that mysterious figure… was that person Capitano?
“I understand…” Mavuika nodded, then turned to the group.
“Let’s go. We’ll meet the Captain together, and see just what he has come here planning.”
In the very center of the Sacred Flame Arena, a towering figure stood motionless.
A tall man with long black hair, wearing a military cap and a black mask with silver trim that covered his entire face.
The First Harbinger of the Fatui — Capitano.
Sensing their arrival, Capitano slowly turned to face Mavuika.
“Mavuika, Pyro Archon, God of War of Natlan… you have finally returned.”
His voice was deep and steady, a voice that naturally carried assurance and weight:
“There are matters of great importance I wish to discuss with you. So if possible… dismiss those who are not involved.”
“Because if our discussion does not go smoothly… I fear we may not be able to avoid crossing blades.”
Capitano did not sound threatening nor arrogant — yet simply by standing there, he radiated overwhelming presence.
Mavuika immediately began issuing orders, having the civilians evacuated from the arena.
Su Yuan, observing Capitano, still did not know whether he would prove to be ally or enemy.
But judging by his demeanor — he did not seem like someone who killed without reason or disregarded life.
Just like the rumors said:
Capitano was a man of unwavering honor.
