Genshin Impact : Eerie Teyvat
Chapter 550: Ch 550 : Three clones?
As the gate to the Twelfth Floor’s battlefield opened again and again, one companion after another stepped through it.
After a long time, only Su Yuan was left standing at the entrance...
After waiting for a while longer, the gate reopened once more.
Taking a deep breath, Su Yuan stepped forward and entered.
He had no idea what awaited him on the Twelfth Floor — nor did he know how many of the others who went before him had survived or cleared it.
Before long, he arrived at the battlefield of the Twelfth Floor.
The surroundings were empty, but Su Yuan didn’t dare to lower his guard.
Then, as a strange ripple spread through the air, a figure appeared before him.
When Su Yuan saw who it was, he was completely stunned.
Because the figure — in appearance, build, and even expression — was identical to him.
It was as if he was looking at a perfect replica of himself!
Could this be the Twelfth Floor’s challenge?
To fight against his own copy — and only by defeating himself could he pass?
But the next moment left him even more speechless...
Because behind that copy, two more identical figures appeared.
In other words, there were now three copies of himself standing in this arena!
Su Yuan froze in place, his mind going blank.
What kind of situation was this?
It was bad enough to fight himself — but now it was one versus three???
However, what happened next made even less sense.
The clone standing on his right suddenly started staggering as if dizzy — and then, with a loud thud, collapsed onto the ground, motionless.
Su Yuan couldn’t tell if it had fallen asleep... or suddenly died.
Even so, there were still two copies left — a two-versus-one battle.
The situation was still grim and highly unfavorable for him.
"Fighting myself... this is definitely a first," Su Yuan muttered nervously.
"And having to fight two at once? That’s a huge challenge..."
"I just hope they didn’t copy all of my abilities. Otherwise, how am I supposed to win?"
But the next moment, one of the copies launched the first attack!
The clone in the center gathered Anemo energy in its hands and sent several wind blades flying toward Su Yuan!
Su Yuan quickly gathered his own Anemo energy and fired wind blades in return, colliding midair and canceling the attack.
"As expected, my copy can use Anemo power just like me," Su Yuan said through clenched teeth.
"Our attack power is almost identical..."
"If it were just one, I might be able to handle it — but the other one on the left is watching for an opening too!"
"Seriously, why do I always end up in situations like this?" he groaned.
"Could it be that everyone’s challenge for the Twelfth Floor is to defeat three copies of themselves?"
But the remaining clones didn’t intend to give him time to think — they prepared to attack again.
This time, however, Su Yuan was completely stunned.
Because the clone on the left didn’t summon wind energy — it gathered Hydro energy instead!
"What???" Su Yuan exclaimed in disbelief.
"That one can use Hydro power — something I can’t even use right now?!"
"I don’t have Neuvillette’s dragon blood anymore, so I shouldn’t be able to use Hydro at all! Then how can my copy do it???"
"And if that right side copy hadn’t fallen, would it have been able to use Azhdaha’s Geo power too???"
"What’s going on? Aren’t they supposed to be clones?
How can they use powers that even I can’t anymore???"
Then, a shocking thought struck him.
"Wait... what if they aren’t just copies?" Su Yuan muttered in disbelief.
"The way they act... it’s like Dottore’s segments!!!"
"Could it be... they represent different versions of me from different points in time — each with the powers I had back then???"
Faced with a two-pronged assault of Anemo and Hydro powers coming from opposite directions, Su Yuan knew that, in his current state, it would be impossible to dodge or defend against both at once...
There was no time to hesitate — he had to use his strongest trump card!
With a single thought, Su Yuan once again summoned Tartaglia’s Foul legacy Armament, the abyssal armor covering his entire body!
Empowered by the abyssal energy of the Foul legacy Armament, Su Yuan’s attack power and speed surged dramatically.
He successfully deflected the combined assault of Anemo and Hydro launched by his two copies!
At this moment, only one thought filled Su Yuan’s mind —
Please, please don’t let those copies of mine have the ability to summon the Foul legacy Armament too...
If they could, then there would be no hope of victory at all.
But the next instant, despair struck — his two clones seemed to begin the same summoning motion!
Su Yuan’s heart sank.
Is this where it all ends for me?
Aether wasn’t by his side, and without the information prompts from his left palm, how was he supposed to bring any of this intel back?
And ever since his last death-rewind, his right eyelid had been twitching nonstop...
Was it some kind of omen?
Could it be warning him that he had already reached the limit of his daily rewind count?
Yet, the very next moment, something even more unexpected happened.
Although his two copies made the summoning gestures, the Foul legacy Armament didn’t appear on them at all.
That’s right — they... they had summoned nothing but air!
Su Yuan stared in disbelief and then blurted out,
"Could it be that the Foul legacy Armament belongs to the ’The Foul’ Surtalogi, and its rank is so high that only one copy can exist in the world — meaning my clones can’t replicate it?"
"In contrast, elemental powers like Anemo or Hydro aren’t rare at all. They’re everywhere, so my copies can use them easily."
Seeing his clones fail to summon the armor, the corner of Su Yuan’s mouth curled into a grin.
He finally relaxed completely.
Now there was no way he could lose.
Next up... it was time for a one-sided massacre.
