Gene Domination: The Loli Who Devours Worlds

Chapter 222: Unlocking the Restraints, Releasing the Kaiju

  • Next Chapter

Inside a massive steel warehouse at the Shao Industries Base.

Lilith closed her eyes, and her Spirit surged out like a tide, merging completely with the giant steel body beneath her.

Every hydraulic pipe, every armor plate, and every rivet of [Abyss] surfaced clearly in her perception.

It was as if they were not cold machinery, but a part of her own body.

Through the mecha’s optical sensor system, everything around her was reflected in her mind.

A full three hundred and sixty degrees with no blind spots, covering a range of one thousand meters.

She didn’t need eyes or physical senses; the position of every person in the warehouse, the outline of every mecha, and the vibration of every steel beam were all crystal clear.

Lilith opened her eyes.

She raised her palm.

Abyss simultaneously raised its palm, fingers spreading open with a smooth, silky motion and zero delay.

Then, the palm suddenly clenched tight!

“Bang!”

A sonic boom exploded within the cockpit!

It was the sonic crack produced by the compressed air at the moment the palm clenched!

Outside, Abyss’s steel palm also suddenly clenched tight!

The same Speed, the same strength, the same sonic boom!

But it was not the same power!

A massive shockwave exploded from the center of the fist, diffusing frantically in all directions!

The technical staff watching below were pushed back repeatedly by the airwave. Some covered their ears, while others crouched down to take cover, their faces filled with horror.

Sterk stood his ground, letting the wild wind brush against his face, his eyes fixed intently on that silver-gray steel mecha.

He saw it.

That clenched fist, that exploding sonic boom, and that completely motionless chassis.

Last time, when Gipsy Danger was in Lilith’s hands, a single punch had caused it to crack.

But [Abyss]—it didn’t budge an inch.

This forty-thousand-ton steel behemoth had completely withstood that kind of power.

Lilith looked down at her fist, a grin slowly spreading across her face.

Sixty percent.

If this mecha operated at overload, it could withstand sixty percent of her strength in human form.

Sixty percent.

It didn’t sound like much.

But sixty percent of her human form’s strength was enough to crush a Category VI Kaiju.

And this was only the first generation.

Jaeger mechs could be upgraded.

As long as the materials were continuously improved and metals capable of withstanding her full power were used,

Then, piloting this mecha with her human form at full capacity would be comparable to her original body in its first form.

Lilith withdrew her fist, disconnected the link, and then leaped down from the cockpit, her petite figure landing lightly in front of Sterk.

“Not bad.”

She said indifferently.

Sterk looked at her, then at the ten Reincarnators behind her, a smile appearing at the corners of his mouth.

“Perfect. While things are quiet, you can undergo mecha training to adapt to the operation of these mechs and improve your synchronization with them.”

“At the same time, the research staff will be upgrading and modifying the design blueprints.”

He paused, looked at Lilith, and continued.

“‘Abyss’ will also undergo continuous upgrades in the future.”

Lilith nodded and turned to look at the silver-gray steel titan.

Abyss.

She was very satisfied with this name.

…

On the other side, the Pacific Ocean.

The Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the seabed.

This was a forbidden zone for humanity.

A depth of ten thousand meters was enough to crush any conventional submarine.

Dark, cold, and dead silent.

But in the deepest part of this silence, there was a massive rift tearing through the seafloor.

Inside the rift, purple-black energy lightning jumped frantically, illuminating the surrounding dark seawater.

The Wormhole.

The passage connecting two worlds.

At this moment, inside the Wormhole, a massive humanoid creature stood on a high platform, looking up at the rift above its head.

Its body was covered in a grayish-white carapace, with a massive head and long limbs. In its blue eyes, the world on the other side of the Wormhole was reflected.

The Precursor.

The creator of the Kaiju, the true ruler of this world.

The corners of its mouth slowly curled up, revealing a human-like smile.

In that smile, there was anticipation, madness, and a long-suppressed excitement.

Then, it raised its hands.

An invisible wave radiated frantically outward from it as the center.

That wave was not sound, nor energy, but pheromones—the medium through which the Kaiju transmitted their will.

The wave swept over the sleeping behemoths, past the massive monster factories, and through every corner of this dead world.

One massive body after another awakened from their slumber.

They opened their eyes, the same will reflected in their blue pupils.

They stood up, taking heavy steps, and converged toward the direction where the Precursor was.

Category III, Category IV, Category V, and even—Category VI!

Countless and densely packed.

An unknown amount of time passed.

The Precursor was completely surrounded by innumerable Kaiju.

They roared at the sky, their deafening bellows nearly tearing the air of this space apart.

Blue eyes flickered with tyrannical and excited light in the darkness.

The Precursor’s lowered hands were raised again.

An invisible lift was injected into the body of every Kaiju.

The massive bodies of the Kaiju began to rise slowly, floating toward the rift above their heads.

Category III, IV, V, and VI Kaiju of various shapes were lifted by an invisible hand, flying toward the Wormhole.

At the same moment, those densely packed flying Kaiju spread their wings and were the first to charge into the Wormhole.

Their numbers blotted out the sun, completely occupying the entire sky.

The first wave of vanguards had set out…

…

Hong Kong Base, seaside promenade.

Lilith stood there, her crimson eyes gazing into the depths of the ocean.

The sea breeze blew, and her silver-white long hair fluttered behind her.

She felt it.

That energy was expanding rapidly.

The corners of her mouth curled up slightly.

“They’re coming.”
