86 Skartoom’s Fear
Jiang Ming’s remark had caused Qi Shan to be enraged.
“What do you mean by a mass murderer huh?” She asked in a frightening tone.
“You are the definition of a mass murderer when you have killed more than me and without a reason at all.”
Jiang Ming shrugged his shoulders.
“That was the old me, okay?” He defended himself.
“I have been reformed and I didn’t even kill anyone as of now.”
“Bull crap, save your hideous lies for others.” Qi Shan snorted coldly. She would be a fool to believe a man like him would keep his hand clean from blood.
“It’s the truth, believe it or not.” Jiang Ming smirked, bluffing on his lie.
How would she know that he had killed someone named Chen Peizhu not long ago?
His death had occurred before he had even summoned Qi Shan into this world.
Hence, Jiang Ming was confident and dared to lie so blatantly..
Alas, he had severely underestimated the capability of Qi Shan.
“You must really think I’m some beautiful vase, Jiang Ming.” Qi Shan smirked as she crossed her arms.
“I’ve already investigated your crap before when you were busy making love with your aunt. Killing Chen Peizhu after scamming his Moon Bazaar, aren’t you one barbaric man.”
“…”
‘This demoness, when did she find the time to investigate me?’ Jiang Ming cursed silently.
And just when Jiang Ming was caught in a tight spot, a loud crack appeared in the hidden cave.
A few seconds later, the hidden cave exploded.
BOOM!
The explosion caused the surrounding environment to change with numerous debris flying across the field.
Luckily, Jiang Ming and Qi Shan were both experienced cultivators to react in time.
Qi Shan had a multi-layer protective barrier surrounding her whereas Jiang Ming had activated a talisman to protect him and the unconscious Yuan Chunhua.
The debris was forcefully stopped by the barrier and dropped to the ground.
However, that wasn’t the end when an enormous demon appeared within the destroyed hidden cave.
“Keke, finally, after 300 years, I can now step foot into the Northern Continent.” The Legion Commander rank, Skartoom laughed wildly as it spread his two large wings.
The wings were colored red, and with one flap, it managed to create a wind current.
His two horns attached to its forehead further symbolized Skartoom’s status as an abyssal demon.
Skartoom continued to laugh wildly, thinking that he had already conquered the Northern Continent.
Meanwhile, Qi Shan was twitching her brows as she glanced at Jiang Ming.
“Seriously, Jiang Ming… you spent all that effort to summon this crap?” She asked in disbelief.
“Ahem, please get your facts right first. I didn’t summon him, but a Batron did.” Jiang Ming coughed slightly.
There was a slight blush on his face since he was embarrassed by the summoned Skartoom.
He had expected a true demon that exuded an intense killing intent, and not someone who would look like a clown.
“I mean like… did he really need to announce that he’s been gone for 300 years. Like who the hell does that when they are summoned?” Jiang Ming exclaimed loudly.
He then stared at Qi Shan and said, “Even you wouldn’t do that kind of cringe stuff besides pretending to be a valkyrie.”
“Hey, don’t compare me with that disgusting creature.” Qi Shan puffed her chest up and complained.
“This damn Skartoom is hideous and nowhere close to my beauty. I will not accept that insult.”
“Alright, my fault. I shouldn’t have compared you to him either. He’s just a clown and a disappointment.”
While they were conversing and continuously trash-talking about Skartoom’s appearance, he was listening.
And the more he listened, the more rage he felt. His blood was literally boiling in rage just by the fact that they were openly talking crap about him.
“You two humans!” Skartoom screamed aloud and flapped its two wings.
“How dare you spout nonsense in front of me! For your sins, I’ll gladly eat you up and fill up my stomach.”
He then exuded a large amount of killing intent, hoping that they would be frightened.
Alas, his action had not only failed to frighten Qi Shan nor Jiang Ming, but it backfired instead.
“Hahaha, damn it, this is too gold.” Qi Shan started laughing as she pointed her finger at Skartoom.
“Jiang Ming, you are really insidious. Did you want to kill me with laughter?” She asked.
“Honestly, I don’t know, but if it makes you laugh, then I guess maybe?” Jiang Ming shrugged.
Tears of joy had already begun seeping out from the corner of Qi Shan’s eyes as she couldn’t believe the dialogue from Skartoom.
Meanwhile, Skartoom clenched its fist in anger and roared.
“Disrespect woman, how dare you laughed at my authority?” Skartoom yelled and raised its claw.
Jiang Ming could only sigh softly as he took a seat and watched the show.
‘Sigh, what a fool, Skartoom. Instead of letting rage fill your small brain, you should have given a closer look at who you’re talking to.’ He thought.
As Skartoom raised its claw and pounced toward Qi Shan, his lips curled up, giving a malicious smile.
“Hmph, damn slave!” Qi Shan sneered coldly at Skartoom.
She waved her hand, and suddenly, the almighty Skartoom felt like he was smacked with 100,000,000 tons on his back.
BAM!
A loud crash emitted throughout the Guilong Forest, and Skartoom was laying down with his stomach touching the ground.
He tried to get back up to attack Qi Shan but was unable to even move an inch.
“W-What did you do to me, vile woman!” Skartoom screamed in panic.
“Take a good look at me before screaming at my face again.” Qi Shan held a fierce expression as she ordered him to take a proper look.
Skartoom could barely tilt his head up a little bit and soon, fear struck upon its eyes when he inspected her closer.
“I-I-I-Impossible… how can you be her,” Skartoom stuttered in horror.
“Seems like the fool has finally realized your identity, Qi Shan.” Jiang Ming laughed from the side while eating some beef jerky.
