105 Lei Clan
Hearing the imposing tone of Yuan Chunhua, the guards from the Lei Clan had quickly realized troubles were about to come their way.
“T-The Patriarch is currently secluding in his cultivation room.” One of the Lei Clan guards replied nervously.
Of course, it was a half-baked lie that he had just come up with.
The Patriarch had ordered them beforehand that he would not accept any visitor no matter their identity.
Therefore, he had hoped that Yuan Chunhua would just come back at a later day by giving her this answer.
Alas, the guards from the Lei Clan had severely underestimated the seriousness of the problem.
“We’re entering,” Yuan Chunhua turned her head and told Qizhi Shun.
And she continued, “Slay anyone that dares to block our path.”
“Yes, Commander!” Qizhi Shun cupped his fist as he bowed. After that, he raised his hand, ordering the rest of the Imperial Soldiers to prepare for combat..
The Imperial Soldiers were in complete unison as they all exuded their aura and raised their spears high up, pointing at the guards from the Lei Clan.
The guards from the Lei Clan were shocked to numbness as their legs started shaking.
They are just lowly guards and even if they can deflect the Imperial Soldiers from forcefully entering, the consequences would be disastrous in the aftermath.
Yuan Chunhua snorted coldly when the guards from the Lei Clan were scared to death.
Ignoring them, she took big stripes forward, entering the gate without any hindrance.
Meanwhile, Jiang Ming was filled with surprise at the demeanor of Yuan Chunhua.
‘Goddamn, that’s hot as fuck.’ He exclaimed inwardly.
Who wouldn’t be full of admiration when a woman as beautiful as Yuan Chunhua could exude such a deadly aura and power?
“What are you doing, Jiang Ming?” Yuan Chunhua paused her footstep a little bit as she glanced at him.
“Are you going to waste time now?”
“Heh, I was merely shocked by your awesomeness, Instructor Yuan Chunhua.” Jiang Ming laughed cheekily as he ran toward her.
Sometime later, they arrived at the main hall, shocking the people in there.
“Who are you and how dare you barge into our Lei Clan?” One person that looked like a typical young master stood up and shouted loudly at Yuan Chunhua.
“Guards, come here and detain these intruders.” He added.
Just when Yuan Chunhua was about to step forward and demonstrate her domination, Jiang Ming patted her shoulder.
“Instructor Yuan Chunhua, allow me to handle this.” He said politely.
Yuan Chunhua raised an eyebrow. “Why would you want to handle him?”
“Because I always have an urge to beat these so-called young masters. They are so arrogant and think every beauty in the world belongs to them. Not to mention, if I’m the one that thrashes the crap out of him, then I’m pretty sure their Patriarch or Uncle would come out to lecture me.” Jiang Ming explained.
Throughout his years of gaming experience in Cultivation Omega, the scene in front of him was so cliche that he had memorized the plotline already.
Despite the explanation though, Yuan Chunhua was still a bit confused, but nevertheless, she trusted him and nodded her head.
“Alright, make it quick. We don’t have all day to spend in a mere Lei Clan.” She said calmly.
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
With a cheeky smile, he stepped forward and glanced at the young master that had shouted earlier.
“Hmm, why do you look so familiar for some reason?” Jiang Ming rubbed his chin as he stared at the facial features of the young master.
He was so familiar yet Jiang Ming just couldn’t recall when or where he had seen him before.
“I remember you and what you did to my elder brother.” The young master from the Lei Clan suddenly shouted and pointed his finger at Jiang Ming.
Meanwhile, Jiang Ming finally understood why he had felt like seeing him before.
He clasped his hand in joy and laughed, “Ah no wonder why you look so damn familiar. You must be the little brother of that Lei Zichen who is currently in prison, suffering tortures daily.”
Lei Zichen was the fool that had tried to attack Bing Tong when she had previously visited the Moon Bazaar. It was also thanks to Lei Zichen that had caused the Lei Clan’s influence and power to drop drastically.
After all, who would want to associate themselves with a clan that had openly dared to target the Princess of the Northern Continent?
If it weren’t because they were an old clan that had served the Imperial Court for many years and had achieved a death exemption medal in the past, then they would have long been exterminated.
“You damn bastard! Today is the day where I will avenge my elder brother.” The little brother of Lei Zichen cursed aloud as he drew his sword out.
“Enough, Lei Hou!” Suddenly, an old man’s voice echoed throughout the main hall.
With a new person arriving at the main hall, Lei Hou sheathed his sword as he turned around and cupped his fist.
“Grandfather,” Lei Hou greeted in respect.
“Apologies for my grandson’s rudeness as he is still young and inexperienced. Lei Zichen had openly attacked Princess Bing Tong, so he deserved the punishment.”
“Patriarch Lei Luoyang is indeed a wise and understanding person,” Yuan Chunhua smiled and stood in front of Jiang Ming.
At the same time, she sent him a mental transmission, informing him to be careful of Lei Luoyang.
“Lei Luoyang is a shrewd and cautious person, Jiang Ming. Stay behind me and don’t get too close to him.”
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
“Rest assured, Instructor Yuan Chunhua. Even if this Lei Luoyang tries to do something funny, I’ll make sure he won’t get a chance to do so.” Jiang Ming kindly replied back to her in a mental transmission.
He had already made all the precautions and preparations needed for this investigation.
“As long as you wish for it, then the Lei Clan will become history.”
