Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 447: Perico’s story
Now it was just Faye and the Fire Demon.
Faye was still wondering what the demon was going to do to her because she was not really feeling safe around him. Her pulse hammered against her throat, making her swallow hard as she backed away half a step.
And the demon was just smiling at Faye like some child.
"I have a question. Can I ask the question, Fire Demon, Sun Demon, or Hungry fool, whatever your name is?" Faye said, her voice low and afraid.
"What is it you want to ask, Luna?"
"Luna?"
"Yes, that is your name. You are my little Luna."
Faye blinked her eyes repeatedly, feeling cringed out as she wondered why he was calling her Luna. She hoped he wasn’t some past lover from her previous life.
There was something deeply uncomfortable about hearing that name from him.
Faye had no memory of ever meeting the strange demon, yet he spoke as though they had known each other for years. He wasn’t acting like a stranger either. The way he looked at her was almost affectionate, which only made the situation more confusing.
Faye then pointed at the spot where Kiara had disappeared earlier.
"Where is Kiara?"
"I sent her to a timeout."
"Huh?"
"She was really annoying. Just because I can’t kill her doesn’t mean I can’t punish her, right? She is suffering the feeling of being burned a thousand times, just like you wanted. I can’t physically punch her like you want, but she is going to learn her lesson..." he explained with a smile on his face.
"Okay, I like that..." Faye said, rethinking her decision. She did not have any remorse for Kiara because she deserved that.
Faye let out a small breath, her chest relaxing just a tiny bit. At least Kiara wasn’t around anymore.
Faye could finally focus on the strange demon standing in front of her without having to deal with Kiara’s irritating personality at the same time.
"Now, my second question..."
"You mentioned a question, meaning one question. So I don’t know if you should ask another question..."
"Okay..."
"I am just joking Luna. You can ask as many questions as you wish," he said, bouncing around the playground.
Faye’s eyes were just moving as she tried to follow his movements.
The bright golden light zipped from the top of the swing set down to the sandbox, leaving blinding trails in the dark air. His movements were so fast that Faye could barely tell where he would appear next.
Finally, he stopped.
"Who are you? I mean, of course, you are the child who was sacrificed. Everyone knows that. But how do you know me?"
That was the first question Faye should have asked instead of asking about Kiara.
The demon’s strange behavior had already made it obvious that there was something connecting them, but Faye had not expected his answer to be something related to her previous life.
"Ohhh, yes. That is right. I haven’t introduced myself. My Periquito. People used to call me Perico, and I am your big brother," he said, shining his fiery teeth over Faye’s face.
He was genuinely happy.
"Hahaha... I have a brother, and his name is Paye..." Faye laughed, stepping a bit away.
"I know... your current Omega brother. But I was once your big brother... in your second life."
"Okay, that makes sense..." Faye nodded, accepting it without arguments.
It sounded completely ridiculous, but after everything she had already experienced, Faye was no longer in the mood to argue about something that sounded weird.
"Shall we go to the past and show you how you are my little Luna?"
"Um, I already believe you, so..."
Before Faye could finish, the dude snapped his fingers, and everything around Faye twirled like something was sucking it all away.
A dizzy rush slammed into her head, turning the playground into streaks of black and orange.
Faye instinctively closed her eyes.
When she opened them again, everything had changed.
She found herself in a foreign land. She wasn’t in the playground anymore.
She was standing in front of a hut, the sky bright this time, and beside her was Perico in the shape of a ball, with eyes and a mouth.
"Where am I?" Faye asked, looking at the dude.
She took a quick step back as the ground beneath her shoes changed from dirt to dry grass.
"I’m showing you how I know you... your second life."
Faye was about to talk when a young boy with messy white hair, wearing animal-skin clothing, came out of the hut, dancing around.
"That is me... when I was just six years old."
Faye stared at the little boy.
His appearance was completely different from the fiery demon beside her, yet she could still recognize the same energy in him.
Then a man and a woman returned home, holding a little baby.
"And that is you, my little baby sister. That was the first time I set my eyes on you. You were so tiny. You had my hair, but your eyes looked white, mine was blue. But I’d still love you... you were so cutie... hahaha."
Faye looked at her little baby self and was like, wow, white hair and moon, huh?
Her eyes went wide as she stared at the tiny bundle, watching the baby wiggle its little fingers under the bright light.
Their parents also had white hair, and despite Faye being in their midst, they could not see her.
But Faye could see them.
She stood quietly, watching the family that had once been hers.
The little boy looked so happy, they all looked happy.
He kept moving around his parents, clearly excited about his new baby sister. Faye could see the connection between the two children even though she knew she was only watching a memory.
"Periquito, do you want to give your little sister a name?" the father said to the little boy.
"Yes, yes, yes! She looks like the moon, so... Luna," the little boy said.
"Okay, Luna shall be her name..." the mother said with joy.
"Hello, Little Luna. I am your big brother, Perico..." the boy said with a smile.
"Awww... I can never forget this day. Such a beautiful scene right?" the demon Perico said as he watched his previous happy life.
Faye remained silent. She watched the little version of herself lying peacefully in her mother’s arms while her six-year-old brother proudly introduced himself to her.
Then another scene showed.
The air shifted, blurring the surrounding view for a second before setting back down in the same clearing.
While Perico was playing with his sister, trying to give her a piece of meat, the little sister bit his finger, and the boy started crying.
"Ohhh..." Faye muttered, staring at the scene.
"Don’t worry about that, Luna. You were just protecting me," Demon Perico said.
Faye watched the memory continue, seeing the little brother and sister together in a world that seemed so peaceful compared to everything she had experienced.
Then another scene showed.
The ground violently shook under their feet, making Faye stumble as a loud roar split the sky.
A volcano erupted and rained fire on the village.
It killed so many people, including Perico’s parents, and burned their hut, leaving Perico with his little sister.
And that was the beginning of the tragedy.
