Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 374: Am I A Boring Lover?
The moment Faye walked into the clubhouse, the door clicked shut behind her, cutting off the heavy noise of the outside street.
"Oh God, when you said you were leaving for your service, did you mean picking up trash or becoming one...?"
Princess was sitting in front of her monitor, her hands hovering over the controls when her girlfriend walked in. She was the only one in the game room, the quiet space filled only with the faint hum of the screens. Hearing Faye step inside, Princess pulled off her headset, letting it rest around her neck, and stood up from her chair.
She walked across the room, meeting her girlfriend halfway.
The two girls stepped together and hugged, holding each other tight. Even while resting her chin on Faye’s shoulder, Princess’s eyes were actively scanning over Faye’s body, checking every inch of her clothes and skin. It was a good thing she did not see the fresh bruise on her face, because whoever had dared to do that to her girlfriend was going to be in deep trouble.
Luckily for everyone involved, Faye’s fast wolf healing had already erased the outer wounds before she even reached home.
Princess pulled back slightly, her hands resting on Faye’s waist as her brow furrowed.
"Yesterday you came home reeking of gasoline, and now you are looking like this... what happened?"
Faye let out a heavy sigh, running a hand through her messy hair.
"I had a fight with Bambi freaking Butcher... that girl pisses me off everytime we meet..."
Princess lowered her chin, her lips tightening into a thin line.
"As expected..." she muttered under her breath.
"She literally doesn’t know her place," Faye continued, her chest rising as the anger flared up all over again.
"I had to punch her for mentioning my family... how dare she..."
She turned away and walked over to the couch in the center of the room, dropping down onto the soft cushions. She bent over, pulling off her sneakers one by one and tossing them onto the floor.
Princess followed her, standing right near the armrest.
"Okay, she shouldn’t have mentioned your family in a fight, but Faye, you always fix everything with a punch. I mean, I wish you had fixed yesterday’s problem with your so-called punching habit, but instead it was gasoline."
Faye looked up from her socks, her eyes narrowing as she defended herself.
"She started it. And she was too far out of arm’s reach yesterday, or I would have punched her then, too."
Princess shook her head softly, a mixture of concern and fond annoyance on her face. "You need to stop punching, baby. One day you are going to meet someone who will super-punch you hard. I don’t want that for you..."
She moved around to the back of the couch, leaning over to place her warm hands on Faye’s shoulders. Her fingers pressed into the tight muscles, massaging the tension out of her back.
Faye closed her eyes, leaning her head back against Princess’s touch. "
No one is going to super-punch me. Mine will always be harder..."
She relaxed completely into the soft cushions, letting out a long breath as Princess worked her thumbs over her shoulders.
"Are you hurt anywhere?" Princess asked, her voice turning soft and full of care.
"No, it’s already gone," Faye replied smoothly. "The bruises are gone, but the pain is still there. I can feel it healing underneath."
Princess kept up the slow, rhythm of her hands.
"Okay... do you want me to make a relaxing tea for you?"
"No... I don’t want tea..."
Faye opened her eyes and turned her head toward the far side of the room, looking over at the kids’ play corner. The colorful toys and baby chairs were completely empty.
"Are they asleep?" Faye asked.
Princess smiled, her chest lifting with pride. "Yes. I bathed them, put them in their PJ, and tucked them in after playing so many lullabies."
Faye tilted her head up, a small smile breaking across her face.
"That is my Baby Mama..." she whined softly.
Princess leaned down over the back of the couch, and the two shared a deep, romantic kiss right there in the quiet room.
When they pulled apart, Princess went back to massaging Faye’s shoulders, though her movements slowed down slightly. Her expression grew quiet, her gaze dipping down to the floor as a heavy thought crossed her mind.
"Baby, can you be honest with me?" Princess asked quietly.
Faye shifted on the cushion, looking up at her. "Yes, babe... what is it?"
Princess took a beat, the words feeling tight in her throat before she finally let them out. "Am I a boring lover?"
Kiara’s cold words from earlier in the day had been sitting in the back of her head, burning deep inside her mind ever since the game session.
Faye’s eyebrows pulled together instantly. "No, you are not. Why would you say that?"
Instead of answering right away, Princess stopped massaging Faye’s shoulders. She walked back around to the front, sitting down on the couch right beside her. She reached out, gently lifting Faye’s legs up and placing them across her lap. She began massaging Faye’s calves and ankles with soft, careful strokes.
"My ex said I am a boring and clingy lover who exhausts their partner..." Princess said, her eyes fixed on her hands as she worked.
Faye sat up straight, her eyes fixed entirely on Princess.
"No, you are not. Maybe yes for the needy part, but baby, you are not boring. You are an amazing girlfriend. It’s not about you being an Alpha... you are a good lover. Good is not even the best word for it... there is no word for it."
She reached out, resting her hand over Princess’s knee to make her look up.
"You are good at being a girlfriend," Faye said, her voice steady and full of deep truth. "You support me through the stupid and good things I have done in my life. You take care of me more than a mother would. You are my alarm clock. You play games, which makes you fucking hot. You make adventures out of almost everything... bathing time, cooking time, even sleeping time. You gave me space when I wanted it. There are so many Alphas who would never agree to what you did. And no matter what I do, you love me unconditionally."
Princess stared back at her, a quiet warmth spreading through her chest. A real, soft smile slowly pulled at her lips as her heart swelled, completely wrapped in the comfort of those words.
Faye scoffed lightly, her voice firm.
"Fuck your ex. She made a mistake by cheating on you because now we are on a level she will never get to. You are special, and I love you for you. Baby, honestly, I want you forever."
Princess leaned in across the distance between them and pulled Faye close, kissing her girlfriend deeply. The kiss was slow and full of emotion, washing away every last bit of doubt that Kiara had tried to plant in her head.
When they parted, Princess kept her face inches from Faye’s, her voice dropping into a soft whisper.
"I don’t regret having a family with you... I love you forever and ever and ever..."
"Hmm hmm..." Faye smiled up at her, a soft, genuine love shining bright in her eyes as she squeezed Princess’s hands.
Princess tilted her head, a playfulness returning to her eyes as she gave a small, sly grin.
"So... do you want to go to the crib? I will undress and caress you..."
Faye giggled softly, wrapping her arms around Princess’s neck.
"Alright then... carry me there."
Without hesitation, Princess slid her arms under Faye’s back and knees, gathering her up into her arms effortlessly. She stood up from the couch and carried her girlfriend straight out of the game room, heading right toward the warm water waiting in the bathroom tub.
And the end...
