Chapter 332: Chapter 43: Forcefully Suppressing Everyone (2)

It was clear the enemy had roughly located the Adventurer’s Guild and was trying to use vibrations to shake the entire hill, burying everyone underground.

He strongly suspected the enemy had discovered their trail long ago and had deliberately waited for them to dig a tunnel underground, just so they could bury them all alive.

This was an extremely cunning and terrifying person.

After a moment, a pleasant female voice sounded from the Magic Ear.

"The enemy wants us to come out."

It was the voice of Captain Peggy of the Adventurer’s Guild.

The blind Apprentice froze for a second, then subconsciously asked, "How do you know the enemy wants us to come out?"

Peggy’s voice was remarkably calm. "The hill’s Vibration frequency is unusual. I just ran a quick calculation with the Ett Transformation Formula, and there’s a secret message hidden within it."

She paused for an instant before revealing the result. "They’re saying, ’Come on out.’"

The blind Apprentice’s face grew even darker.

This ingenious method of transmitting information through Vibration instantly made him realize two things:

First, the enemy’s Divination Ability was by no means weak, and Divination Ability was directly proportional to combat strength.

Second, the enemy had an extremely deep understanding of Vibration.

In this situation, if the enemy wanted to deal with the Adventurer’s Guild while they were underground, they only needed to apply a Magic Vibration to the hill. That would trigger a powerful resonance in the earth, and the tunnel wouldn’t last more than a few seconds before collapsing.

So, the recent Vibration was a blatant threat: Come out, or wait to be buried alive.

The blind Apprentice took a deep breath and said gravely, "Captain Peggy, it seems the Adventurer’s Guild has no other choice. Let’s go out."

Peggy understood this as well. "Then let’s go out."

She paused for a moment, displaying a strong sense of responsibility. "I’m the captain of the Adventurer’s Guild. I’ll go out first."

The blind Apprentice’s lips moved, and he sighed silently.

The memory of the enemy killing the Gray Falcon had put him under immense pressure. He truly didn’t have the courage to be the first one out.

In the sky, Mo Ning’s lips curled up slightly as he thought, ’These people are quite sensible.’

His gaze flickered toward a certain spot on the hill.

An inconspicuous metal needle was stuck in the ground there.

It was another one of his creations from his Magic Pattern Study practice, its principle inspired by the Unicorn Rabbit’s horn, which could amplify vibrations.

He had come up with the idea for a probe when he first read about it in a book at the Royal Library. Now, that concept was finally a reality.

In a sense, it was a biomimetic design.

While vibrating the hill earlier, he had simultaneously thrown the probe, planting it precisely on the hill’s surface.

The faint vibrations from within the hill were amplified a hundredfold by the probe, converted into fluctuations of Magic Power, and transmitted to the Vibrating Stone he held in his hand.

As the members of the Adventurer’s Guild began to move, the Vibrating Stone immediately sensed the footsteps coming from underground.

He could tell from the direction of the footsteps that the Adventurer’s Guild was moving toward the exit.

This proved they had received the message he sent through the Vibration.

Beyond that, different individuals, weights, and even boots all produced different vibrational frequencies when they stepped on the ground.

The vibrations from all the members merged into an extremely complex composite frequency.

Differentiating them by ear alone would be impossible.

But for Mo Ning, this was not a problem at all.

The power of the Eye of Truth intervened, beginning to precisely analyze the different spectrums within the Vibration.

Spectrums with unique characteristics were isolated one by one by the power of his ability, each representing a single individual.

Mo Ning watched the data stream flowing across the light screen, silently counting in his mind, ’One... two... three...’

Another thought crossed his mind. ’I’ve gathered some firsthand experimental data with this Vibration probe today. I could probably whip up a paper from this and get some Black Tower Points from the academy.’

However, he wasn’t short on Black Tower Points at the moment, so his motivation to write a paper had diminished considerably.

He even had another idea. ’I could just toss the notes and the probe to Anya and Reina. Let them put the paper together and develop their academic skills in the process.’

Soon, a strong gust of wind WHOOSHED out of the opening below, blowing away all the debris that concealed the tunnel entrance.

A figure in a gray robe and hood bent over and crawled out of the opening.

A silver thread embroidered on the chest of the gray robe proved her identity as a First Level Apprentice.

The silver thread on the left side signified a Female Apprentice; for male Apprentices, the silver thread was usually on the right.

The Female Apprentice stood at the cave’s entrance, tilting her head up slightly to reveal an exceptionally delicate face. She shouted,

"My name is Peggy! We mean no offense. I want to know who on earth you are!"

Mo Ning glanced at the Female Apprentice and thought, ’As expected.’

Just by looking, he could see an air of superiority in Peggy’s eyes, one cultivated since childhood. Her posture was poised and confident, her gaze firm and strong. She completely lacked the slumped shoulders and cautious timidity of a commoner.

It was clear at a glance that the Female Apprentice had undergone extremely strict etiquette training.

Clearly, this was a noblewoman.

This result perfectly matched his previous judgment.

A moment later, the character analysis model completed a more detailed analysis, further sketching out a "quick profile" for Peggy:

[Analysis Result: Target exhibits a strong air of superiority. Gaze is distinctly evaluative. Facial details indicate a resolute will and considerable managerial experience. Probability of being High Nobility: 86.7%.]
