Su Chen watched the two elders play off each other and couldn’t help but rant internally, ’Come on, if you two want to test me, just say so. Why put on an act? I’m not an idiot. How could I not see through it?’

Ranting aside, it was time to show his hand. "IPS Security Company is one of my businesses."

"How is that possible? IPS Security Company is one of the top ten security firms in the world—maybe even top three! They have personnel all over the globe. How could you be its owner!"

Elder Jiang immediately lost his composure. He was very knowledgeable in this area and naturally understood what IPS Security Company represented. It was an entity that could go toe-to-toe with Blackwater; one could only imagine how formidable it was.

"I wasn’t hiding it; you just didn’t know. For example, Chen Fei, who’s always with me, knows all about it," Su Chen said frankly. He didn’t want to be seen as a wolf in sheep’s clothing!

Hearing this, Elder Xiao wanted to roll his eyes at him.

After tapping his fingers on the tea table a few times, the elder said, "I agree to provide support. When the time comes, someone will be assigned to coordinate with you on the specifics."

"There’s no rush. The island is still completely undeveloped. You can make the arrangements after I’ve finished the preliminary work, Elder."

’I’m not even sure what the situation on the island is yet. I’ll need to send a team to investigate before making any further plans.’

After they finished with business, Su Chen and Elder Xiao started making small talk. When Elder Jiang, who had been listening on the side, heard that Su Chen didn’t have a girlfriend, he suddenly slammed his teacup down.

Elder Xiao had met Elder Jiang’s precious granddaughter. She was not only beautiful but also had a wonderful personality and was exceptionally capable. His gaze drifted over to Su Chen; the two of them actually seemed like a good match.

Seeing the look on the two elders’ faces, Su Chen had a bad feeling. ’They aren’t going to try and force this, are they?’

Fortunately, Huang Feng walked in just then, breaking the awkward silence.

"Sirs, dinner is ready."

"Dinner! Let’s eat! I’m starving. Elders, shall we eat first?"

Su Chen’s words broke their train of thought. They didn’t say anything more, as they could tell he was resistant to the idea.

Elder Xiao gestured for the other two to sit. Huang Feng, as was his role, stood to the side and began pouring drinks for everyone.
