Chapter 300: Chapter 178: Time to Settle Accounts

Ye Feng definitely wasn’t going to be the one to ask, so the task naturally fell to Si Cong.

"Uh... Old Su, what did you and Qin Fen mean by ’Red-Mouthed Perky Carp’?" Si Cong asked, unable to restrain his curiosity.

"HAHAHAHA!" Seeing Si Cong’s inquisitive gaze, Su Chen couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

He never would have thought that the great Young Master Si Cong, a man constantly surrounded by beautiful influencers, wouldn’t know what a "Red-Mouthed Perky Carp" was.

"Uh, Si Cong, a ’Red-Mouthed Perky Carp’ is..." Standing to the side, Qin Fen placed his hands on his lower back and began thrusting his hips back and forth.

Ye Feng and Si Cong understood instantly. The "oh, so that’s what it is" looks on their faces made Su Chen laugh even harder.

"Ahem, is everyone ready? It’s getting late. I’ll take you all to try some authentic Cantonese cuisine in Yangcheng City!" Ye Feng decisively changed the subject.

Su Chen’s laughter gradually subsided, and he wiped away the tears he’d laughed out from the corners of his eyes.

The group of four set out in the car. This time, Ye Feng didn’t bring a driver; he drove himself.

To Su Chen, the legendary Yangcheng City was known for two things above all else: landlords in flip-flops jingling massive keychains, and the so-called "Rolls-Royce" of geese, the Lion-Head Goose. He had heard about it long ago and was determined to finally try it now that he had the chance.

"Huh? Are we heading to the suburbs?" Su Chen asked, noticing that the tall buildings were becoming fewer and fewer. It looked like they were heading toward the mountains.

"Mhm," Ye Feng nodded. "The place we’re going is a top-tier private clubhouse, over by Phoenix Mountain."

A place that Ye Feng would call a top-tier clubhouse piqued Su Chen’s curiosity.

Baiyun Mountain wasn’t very far from Phoenix Mountain. Plus, this area was mostly villa districts, so there wasn’t much traffic on the roads. They arrived in about seven or eight minutes at a place on the summit on one side of Phoenix Mountain.

The first thing that caught Su Chen’s eye was a pair of bronze gates, four or five meters high, carved with intricate, lifelike openwork patterns of soaring dragons and dancing phoenixes.

The car paused at the entrance for a moment as the bronze gates slowly swung open. Ye Feng hit the gas, and the car drove inside.

Once inside, Su Chen realized the place was immense. Beyond the single entry road, both sides were designed in the style of Suzhou Gardens, with towering rockeries and encircling green waters, dotted with brightly colored trees...

The sight alone was incredibly relaxing.

Soon, the car stopped in front of a building steeped in ancient charm. Before Su Chen could even open his door, a beautiful female attendant in a qipao had already opened it for him.

"Welcome to Green Water Manor, sir!" The beautiful attendant in the qipao bowed slightly, gesturing with her left hand. The snowy peaks of her cleavage complemented her pale pink qipao.

"Thank you!" Being a perfect gentleman, Su Chen only took an extra glance or two before getting out of the car.

"So this is the famous Green Water Manor. I never thought I’d get to come here," Si Cong muttered under his breath as he got out of the car, just loud enough for Su Chen, who was next to him, to hear.

He took a step over to him and asked quietly, "What’s the deal with this Green Water Manor?"

Si Cong glanced left and right. Seeing that the qipao-clad attendants were all standing more than two meters away, he began to explain quietly to Su Chen.

Green Water Manor was the most exclusive private clubhouse in the southeastern region. The only people who could come here were major players in the national business world—at the very least, people who had made it onto the mainland Forbes list. And even then, there were still fewer than a hundred members to date.

You couldn’t join just by having money; you also had to pass an internal review and investigation. If they felt you didn’t have enough potential, your application would be rejected.

It was a private clubhouse that countless people dreamed of joining. Here... as long as you were a member and paid a high enough price, they could pull strings for you and introduce you to all sorts of bigwigs.

Membership was divided into Gold, Platinum, and Diamond tiers. According to Si Cong, even his old man would only qualify for Platinum at best. As for Diamond... he still wasn’t quite there yet.

"Let’s go. What are you two whispering about?" Ye Feng came over, draped an arm over Su Chen’s shoulder, and guided him inside.

Si Cong and Qin Fen quickly followed behind, both now curious about what made this top-tier private clubhouse so captivating.

As soon as they entered the main hall, they were greeted by four women in qipaos, each with a top-class figure and appearance.

"This way, sir."

Su Chen looked at the beautiful woman in front of him, then glanced at Ye Feng. He saw Ye Feng give a slight nod before following his own hostess.

’What in the world is this all about?’ Su Chen wondered. Still, he followed suit and walked deeper inside with the beautiful woman.

Following behind the woman in the qipao, he noticed her semi-transparent, form-fitting dress with its openwork design. Watching her swaying, peach-like hips and her slender waist, Su Chen’s heart inexplicably began to race. He even felt a flicker of anticipation for what would happen next.

Soon, the qipao-clad beauty led him to a small room. It wasn’t very large, only about ten square meters.

The room’s furnishings were very simple: a long sofa and a wardrobe. It looked like a changing room.

"Sir, you’ll need to change your clothes now. I hope you don’t mind."

Before Su Chen could react, the woman in the qipao moved close, crouched down beside him, and began to unbutton his shirt.

Feeling the faint, almost-imperceptible touch and smelling the light, fresh fragrance coming from her, Su Chen’s "tent" pitched itself instantly.
