Chapter 2134 - 1695: None Who Want to Burn My Fields Will Leave
Chapter 2134: Chapter 1695: None Who Want to Burn My Fields Will Leave
Feeling Ange’s anger, everyone’s first reaction was: "It’s over, someone actually dared to burn Ange’s field?"
After reacting, they realized that what Ange had just blocked was an Exotic Ghost, and the Void Sky Curtain actually blocked the Exotic Ghost’s attack.
The invisible Void Sky Curtain and the Exotic Ghost both exploded in the collision just now. The Sky Curtain directly turned into nothingness, while the Exotic Ghost quickly condensed into a giant face.
This face had only one eye, with a pupil as black as the Abyss, silently staring at everyone present.
The Monarch almost reflexively reminded everyone: "Be careful, don’t look into its eye, there’s something strange about it."
Unfortunately, the Monarch’s reminder was too late, and in an instant, the consciousness of Anthony and the others was sucked into a pitch-black world, where there was no light, no light or dark, no color, only endless darkness and a giant eye at the end of that darkness.
Everyone felt like they were falling rapidly toward that eye, just like being weightless, continuously falling as if there was no end, and no matter how they struggled, they couldn’t make themselves stop.
However, in the next moment, Ange’s huge figure appeared in the darkness, and the sensation of weightless falling disappeared immediately. All the darkness was dissolved by the light emanating from Ange, revealing once again the nearby starry sky.
The Exotic Ghost, showing only a face, looked suspiciously at everyone with its single eye, finally returning its gaze to Ange. A puzzled voice echoed in the void: "Who are you?"
Ange tilted his head and looked at Anthony.
Anthony took a deep breath and stepped forward. To be honest, he was not very willing to respond in such a situation because this was not a being he could handle.
The Exotic Ghost across from them could send them into eternal darkness with just a glance, and if not for Ange’s Soul Contact, they would have long since fallen into the darkness.
This kind of enemy was best dealt with by Ange himself, but who would have thought his lord was a silent skeleton.
Anthony stepped forward and shouted loudly: "My Lord, Lania."
The eye across from them scanned them up and down, left and right several times, finally saying: "You indeed have Lania’s aura, as well as my aura, and the aura of several God Stars. You indeed came from the Lania Branch Road. What happened there?"
Anthony said: "My Lord encountered a strong enemy, had to destroy the branch, and the main star told us to run."
The single eye on the face slightly narrowed: "A strong enemy? An enemy strong enough to make Lania destroy the branch? Who is it? The Time-Space Ancient Dragon?"
Anthony shrugged: "I wouldn’t know, the main star simply told us to escape quickly, without saying who the enemy was. But after a while, when more people escape, we might find out by asking around."
The Exotic Ghost said nothing after listening, merely closed its single eye, and its aura quickly diminished.
Anthony quickly shouted: "Wait a moment."
The Exotic Ghost’s single eye reopened and fell upon Anthony.
With just one glance, Anthony’s form, along with the nearby light and space, began to collapse inward as if something were pressing everything, his entire form, soul, and space inward.
Anthony felt a force crushing his entire being into a point, his soul included, everything uncontrollably retracting into his body.
However, in the next moment, Ange’s figure appeared behind him, and for the first time, Anthony clearly felt what it meant to have someone backing him up.
In an instant, all the negative pressure exerted by that eye vanished, replaced by refreshing clarity, vibrant energy, and his entire consciousness expanded rapidly. The range of his perception expanded continuously, as if the entire void was under his overlook.
This kind of ability to control the entire situation was not something Anthony could possess. Apparently, Ange didn’t only back him up but also shared his spiritual power with him.
Anthony immediately shouted loudly: "God says your soul is filled with filth; let me carve an imprint for you, awaiting Holy Light’s purification—Divine Oracle Imprint."
With Anthony’s words, the entire face across from them lit up with a sacred glow. These glows flickered a few times, then turned into countless imprints that merged into the face.
The Exotic Ghost’s single eye revealed a puzzled look, and its thought scanned itself several times, then looked at Anthony, its expression as if asking: Why are you shining a flashlight on me?
There was no harm, no damage, nothing at all, just a brief flash of light, and then it was gone. The light imprints that merged into its form were undetectable, even by itself.
The Exotic Ghost considered, if even it couldn’t find them, then they didn’t exist.
What was the point of using such an insignificant light to flash at it? To provoke it?
Anthony might have seen the confusion on its face, pointed a finger accusingly, and questioned loudly: "Why did you attack us?"
The Exotic Ghost said: "I was attacking the God Star, and you stood in front of the God Star. Isn’t it quite normal for me to hit you?"
Anthony pointed at the extinguished God Star and said: "This God Star is already extinguished. Why are you attacking it?"
The Exotic Ghost glanced at the extinguished God Star, then at Anthony: "I also find it strange. This God Star had already been destroyed by me, but just now I felt its growth exploding, only to find it already extinguished when I got here. What did you do to it?"
Anthony shrugged: "As you saw, we planted some plants on it. Some plants made you feel the growth explode, maybe your senses aren’t accurate?"
"That’s also what I want to know. Unless there was an extensive rapid outbreak of life, why would there be a growth anomaly? Are my senses inaccurate?" The Exotic Ghost’s tone was also filled with confusion.
Being so perplexed that the Exotic Ghost questioned its existence, it seemed Ange’s ability to rapidly cultivate life on such a large scale was exceedingly rare in the outside void as well.
Anthony said sternly: "Regardless of whether your senses are accurate, these plants were planted by us. Intending to destroy them, failing to do so, and then wanting to leave, isn’t that too much?"
The Exotic Ghost was a bit stunned: "Too much, you think I’m too much? What gave you this misconception? Is it because I didn’t kill you, so you think I’m excessive?"
The Exotic Ghost was genuinely surprised. Not killing these fellows was already an enormous mercy, yet they thought it was excessive? How could he have such an idea? It’s ridiculous.
Just when he was ready to extinguish the souls of these guys in front of him, a ring of darkness exploded from Ange’s body, enveloping everything nearby—Gravity Cage.
The enormous gravity immediately bound the form of the Exotic Ghost, locking it in place and dragging it towards Ange’s position.
A phantom shot to its back, revealing a monarch wielding a death scythe, the blade swinging down at it.
When Ange shouted ’want to burn my field’, this Exotic Ghost was never allowed to leave.
