114 NSA Agents Files Lawsuit against Florida Man for Riding Unicorn into Area 51
Chapter 114 – NSA Agents Files Lawsuit against Florida Man for Riding Unicorn into Area 51
Floating over Leo’s camp was Wu Buyi. He scanned the forest with his Qi, searching for Gao Yan’s whereabouts. He also brought out a life candle of the disciple, holding it and gazing at the flame.
The life candle’s fire fluttered and flickered as the strong wind in the sky threatened to blow it. The west wind hit Wu Buyi’s face. However, the tip of the flame didn’t point toward the east according to the wind.
It pointed south.
Wu Buyi smiled as he finally found where Gao Yan went. He put the candle away and descended. After landing on the ground, Wu Buyi reported his findings to Leo.
“My lord. I’ve found my disciple. He’s just south of here.”
Leo rolled his eyes, “Just go and find him, then. He’s your disciple, so it’s your responsibility.”
“O-Of course. I’ll go fetch him right away. B-But, my lord. I’m afraid of the local beasts. They’re a lot stronger than me. Could you go with me?”
Leo had already scared most of the dangerous animals away, and it was impossible for Wu Buyi to get ambushed. Seeing how useless Wu Buyi was, Leo deeply sighed.
“Lead the way. I’ll follow you.”
“Okay!”
Wu Buyi brought out Gao Yan’s life candle again and followed the flame. Leo hopped on Taxi’s back and patted the horse.
“Follow him.”
“Smash!”
The group flew south to the area that they had never explored before.
.
While riding Taxi, Leo opened the system’s domain menu and checked the map.
BEEP
As Leo had expected, a green dot, which represented Gao Yan, was only 10 kilometers south of the camp. With Taxi’s speed, they should reach the destination in a minute.
Unfortunately, Wu Buyi was slow. Because of the slowpoke, Taxi decreased his speed to match him.
As Leo was bored sitting and doing nothing, he fiddled with the upgraded handgun. He also rechecked the remaining rubber bullets in the magazine.
CLICK
He reloaded the pistol and looked around, searching for something to shoot for fun. However, no creature was in sight.
Noticing that no one was there to entertain him, Leo put the gun away. He admired the scenery instead.
In the south, it was close to the edge of the continent. The land was mostly covered in rainforests and small hills. A large river cut through the south mountain range, creating a mysterious passage toward the sea.
Aside from the canyon, no other landmark was noteworthy.
As there was nothing to do, Leo gazed at the forest. He changed his mindset and thought of a way to use this world.
‘A farmland? Eh, no. I shouldn’t clear the entire forest. I should leave some for the local beasts and the future tourists. I can collect entrance fees from the visitors and let them play there. Since this will be a tourist spot, I shouldn’t build a warehouse around here to attract looters. Another branch of a convenience store or a tavern is better. Oh, can I build a livestock shed here?’
Thinking of the building, Leo tested his domain system if he could build anything in this world.
DING
Surprisingly, he could.
“!!!”
Leo almost stood up. He pressed the domain map menu to see the grid map. A new window popped up in front of him.
The entire continent was within Leo’s territory!
“…Too bad.”
Unfortunately, every grid had a lock icon on them. When Leo pressed the lock icons, the system prompted him with a message.
<Please activate a permanent portal from your Mystic Realm Portal first.>
In short, Leo had to return to the other world before he could use this function.
Leo found it fair. Having a minor condition might be inconvenient, but it was insignificant to him. He planned to go back and update the portal platform anyway.
While Leo was absentminded, Wu Buyi reached the destination. He pointed at a cave near a hill.
“Over there, my lord!”
Leo came back to his senses. He looked at the hill and frowned.
It was strangely round. Rather, it looked like a dome instead of a natural mountain or hill. Moreover, no tree or plant grew on this bald hill.
Taxi and Wu Buyi landed on the ground. Leo jumped off the horse and walked toward the dome-like hill. Then, he leaped on top of it.
“Umm, my lord. The cave entrance is over here,” Wu Buyi pointed at the natural cave, which led a path into the hill.
Leo ignored Wu Buyi and stared at the green grass under his feet. He took his shoes off and touched them with his skin.
No grass mutated upon touch.
Seeing the result, Leo frowned. He pulled a stalk of grasses to see up close. Then, he put one in his mouth and chewed it.
It tasted like plastic!
This was not natural grass. It was artificial!
Leo spat the plastic grass and threw the fake stalk away. He squatted and began uprooting the other grasses.
As Leo pulled harder, a square patch of fake ground and grasses came off, revealing the structure of a dome underneath.
“Hohoh?”
Leo smiled at the hidden metallic dome under the fake grasses. Finding it interesting, Leo peeled the other square patches and threw them away.
Seeing that Leo did something interesting, Taxi jumped on the dome and helped Leo peel the cover. As for Wu Buyi, he watched the duo in silence.
With two workers working together, Leo and Taxi managed to remove artificial grasses and fake dirt from the dome. When they finished, Leo sat on Taxi’s back and ordered it to hover over it.
Looking at it from above, Leo’s smile widened. He smirked at the structure as he had a rough idea of what it was.
The dome reminded him of a stadium’s roof or a cover of an underground missile silo in sci-fi movies. Leo leaned toward the latter as a distinctive line, which split the dome in half, could be seen from above. It was obvious that the dome should be able to open in half and release whatever was under it.
“Well, well, well. What do we have here? I thought I’m in a fantasy world, but I’ve found a trace of high-tech civilization. What a combination!”
Leo rubbed his hands and jumped down. He landed on top of the dome, after which he sat and rubbed the metal surface. Then, he lightly knocked it.
DONG-DONG
The dome was slightly dented, but it produced a crisp sound like a giant bell.
Again, Leo rubbed his hands. He looked forward to seeing an ICBM missile or a modern silo underground.
“Lead the way, Wu Buyi! I’ll follow you.”
“…”
Wu Buyi was confused, but he nodded. He sneaked glances at the metal dome as he found it weird. In his mind, he thought about the ruins of other civilizations that he always saw in other mystic realms.
“Eh, it’s just one of those ruins. Since it’s made of metal, I bet it’s another fire or metal type. I wonder what kind of artifact we can scavenge from this place,” Wu Buyi muttered and proceeded into the natural cave.
Taxi was also curious. It followed Wu Buyi into the cave first.
Leo walked after them and licked his lips. But before he entered the cave, he paused and opened the domain system’s map.
On the map, a group of ten red dots gathered at his campsite. Another 10 red dots were also 500 meters north of Leo’s current location.
Noticing the guests, Leo turned around. He was about to go back and welcome the uninvited visitors. But the next second, Leo smacked his forehead as he remembered that he couldn’t collect the compensation or lifespan until he properly build the permanent portal at the platform.
“Man. Consider yourself lucky. If you leave me alone, I’ll leave you alone.”
Leo turned around and entered the cave. He prayed that those people wouldn’t mess with his exit portal and them.
.
.
500 meters away from the artificial hill’s cave was a group of the second prince’s expedition team. As for the other group at Leo’s camp, they were the first prince’s team. The first prince and the second prince were with their teammates, and they formed an alliance to work together in this realm.
The second prince was led by Yan Long, the second prince himself. He brought his aide and servants over to search for treasures and usable herbs.
So far, the second prince managed to defeat two cockatrices. They also kept their corpses in the prince’s spatial ring. Aside from the monster subjugation, they managed to harvest a ton of useful herbs in the forest.
While searching for more herbs and goodies, Yan Long’s group discovered Leo’s trace by chance and had been following him. They found Leo’s den, but they didn’t get anything useful from the camp. Thus, they abandoned the camp and left it to the first prince’s party to search next.
After following Leo, they soon caught up to him and his team.
“Your Highness, that old man with the thunder unicorn has just entered a ruin. Should we follow them?” Yan Long’s aide informed his master.
Yan Long looked like a man in his mid-30s. He had a trimmed full beard, and his long black hair was tied and hidden under a gold pheasant headwear on top of his head. Despite having a dandy beard, his narrow eyes and thin eyebrows made him look like a cunning character in anime. Because of his narrow eyes, his handsomeness was degraded by a tier.
His gold armor was the symbol of the royal family. The left shoulder guard was in the shape of a dragon’s head while the right had the face of a tiger. However, they emanated the aura of an immortal as an immortal blacksmith refined the armor for him.
With the armor, Yan Long was confident in his survivability against a quasi-immortal. In addition, he also had the deadliest talismans from the Situ Clan, which was capable of killing any non-immortal of this world.
Because of his confidence, Yan Long made a bold decision.
“Follow them into the ruin. If they somehow find a good treasure, we’ll use our status to extract their spatial rings and their loot. But if they aren’t that interesting, we’ll just give an excuse that we accidentally run into them and leave them alone.”
“Do we have to fight, your highness?”
“Probably not. They only have two people – One nascent soul and one quasi-immortal. We have 10 soul transformation cultivators on our side and the immortal killing array talismans. If we have to fight, we can’t lose.”
“…”
The subordinates still hesitated. However, the prince already flew toward the hill.
Without a choice, the aide and the soldiers followed their master to the dome.
.
.
Using the life candle, Wu Buyi beelined toward Gao Yan’s location. After walking for five minutes, he was in front of a weird metal saucer structure.
Taxi and Leo reached the place later. But when Leo noticed the UFO-like spaceship, he exclaimed.
“YEEHAW! We hit the jackpot!”
Wu Buyi wryly smiled as he was confused, “How so, my lord?”
“It depends on that ship’s technology levels. If it surpasses my old world, we’re in for gold. But if it’s inferior to the spaceship I came from, it might be useless.”
“Sa-Pace-Ship?” Wu Buyi couldn’t pronounce the word.
Leo stepped forward and walked closer to the spaceship. However, there was no gate or entrance for them to enter. The gang began rubbing and knocking the metal, looking for a way to enter it.
