First Demonic Dragon

Chapter 64 Unrivaled.

In the forests behind the castle, a small child was flying through the air with a serious look on her face.

She appeared to be extremely focused and was darting around looking for something.

Rustle.

Hearing the rustling of leaves, she immediately stopped flying around so rapidly and focused her eyes on the area where she’d heard the noise come from.

Rustling around in the bushes was a giant brown beast.

Stone furred bears were, as their name described, very large bears with rough stone like fur and razor sharp teeth and claws.

Her master told her that they were an advanced magical beast that usually required a small party of atleast five weaker individuals to hunt successfully.

But she was almost seven already so she alone should be enough… right?

With a thought, she summoned her weapons.

With a flash, two identical daggers with blades of frozen ice appeared in her hands.

These were the gifts her father left behind for her when he left two weeks ago and she treasured them greatly.

Mommy Lailah even taught her how to bind them to herself so that she would never lose them and nobody could steal them!

‘Daddy…’

Mira felt herself get sad when she thought of her father again but since she was in the middle of a hunt she quickly shook those thoughts off and prepared to kill this fluffy beast!

For two weeks Mira had been training nonstop.

Not only with old man Hajun, but her grandmother had also been teaching her how to better use her ice element and one of her mommies was teaching her magic and another was teaching her how to hunt properly.

She was now the worlds most unrivaled six year old!

Mira finally began her onslaught against the bear.

With a wave of her hand, Mira froze the ground the bear was standing on and encased its legs in ice.

“Groah?”

The bear tilted its head in confusion before Mira folded her wings into her body and fell out of the sky like an arrow toward the beasts massive body.

“ROAARRRRRR!!”

With a roar filled with pain, the beast quickly broke itself out of the ice it was encased in before shaking its body furiously to try to get its attacker off of it.

Mira had underestimated the difficulty of piercing through the flesh of an advanced tier beast and even though she had managed to get her blades deep enough to draw blood, the blow she’d landed was on its back and not very deep so she was far from done.

Though she’d done a good job of hanging on, stone furred bears are notoriously smart as well as sturdy.

Frustrated with it’s inability to shake off its assailant, the bear instead ran full steam towards the nearest tree.

Realizing it would be bad if she held on any longer, Mira quickly jumped off the back of the bear, leaving her daggers lodged in the bears flesh.

She could re-summon them at any time so it was fine if she left them behind for now.

BANG!

The sound of the bear barreling into a large oak tree and snapping it in two resounded throughout the forest.

The bear shook off the splinters of wood from its fur and turned around to see its tiny assailant on one knee with a slightly worried expression.

Seeing the bear looking at her with an angry and disdainful expression, Mira unconsciously started to get angry.

Since she’d been living in the castle, Mira’s pride as a dragon had grown at a steady pace.

And after her father gifted her an affinity stone, that growth skyrocketed to the point where she could no longer tolerate something like this lowly animal looking at her as if she were prey.

In their hearts, all dragons craved dominance and had iron wills.

Even though she was very young, Mira was no different.

She was strong! Like all of her mommies and her daddy!

“Mira will make you her rug!!!”

With Mira’s anger reaching its threshold, her eyes that she’d inherited from her father suddenly turned an icy blue and her body was enveloped in a strong blizzard.

The bear that was so bold and angry before halted its steps slightly when it felt a new pressure coming from the snowstorm in front of it.

When the blizzard disappeared, a glimmering white dragon with a blue eye and a purple eye could be seen.

She was only a little bit bigger than the bear, and yet her body radiated a majestic aura.

“Chillrend!” It was odd to hear the adorable voice of a little girl come out of such a noble looking dragon but unfortunately no one else was around to make such an observation.

On the bear’s back, Mira’s daggers that were lodged in its body started shining with a bright blue light before the runes started injecting freezing cold energy into the body of the beast.

Chillrend was the signature ability of the weapon her father gave her.

It allowed her to slowly freeze the target with every hit or continually freeze them like this when her weapon was lodged into their body.

The beast began to panic when it realized it’s massive body was being wracked with chills and it tried to take a step back only to realize it’s movement speed had been halved.

Sensing weakness, Mira hurriedly pounced on the semi frozen bear.𝒩𝐎𝑣xt.𝒞𝐦

Mira used her new more powerful body to rip, tear and strip the beast of its flesh and make the beast pay the ultimate price for looking down on her.

Only when her beautiful white scales were dyed red did she finally calm down and look at the dead beast beneath her.

With a roar of dominance, Mira declared her victory over the bear.

After she managed to calm down, Mira hurriedly changed back to her human looking appearance and took out a letter from her pocket.

This was the letter her father wrote for her before he left and it contained his apologies, his love and a list of instructions.

Mira didn’t fully understand what some of the words meant but she knew if she did what her father asked a good thing would happen.

She hurriedly jotted down her progress on the piece of paper.

< Mira Clearwing Draven >

< Evolution Path : Dragon of Divine & Unending Winter. (Variant Species)

< First stage conditions.

– Hunt 50 magical beasts. (15/50)

– Learn five ice spells. (1/5)

– Sleep in a subzero environment for 60 days. (13/60)

“Meow!”

Just as Mira finished hitting down her progress, a small sound reached her ears.

Mira looked down to see a small black cat with bright eyes looking up at her.

The cat didn’t seem to mind that she was covered in blood, or that she obviously wasn’t human.

“Oh, kitty!” Mira hurriedly put her paper away and began to let the small cat.

“Are you alone?” She figured it must’ve been a stray that somehow made its way up here from the city.

“Meow.”

“Do you want to come with Mira?”

“Meow.”

“Yay! I’m gonna call you Megumin!”

Mira for some reason could tell that her new friend was a girl, and quickly gave her a name and carried her back to the castle.

Maybe with this new friend, she’d be a little less lonely until her father returned.
