Chapter 934: Chapter 456: Marble Divine Spirit (3)

The barrier surrounding the Holy Sanctuary is visually powerful, far surpassing the Holy Capital Vitas, and those Divine Light Runes glimpsed when the Creation Formula’s light emerged are gently flowing across the surface of the shield.

As the chariot approached, the characters on the shield converged like flowing sand before dispersing, simultaneously opening the protective layer.

Just as Li Ang stepped down from the Crystal Chariot, he saw a new Primordial Being.

He seemed like a visitor, but hadn’t yet entered the sanctuary, merely waiting here for Zosia.

Compared to the crystalline skin of the three Eldest Sons of God previously encountered, this one was slightly different, his body more akin to pure white marble, with a physique both muscular and sculpted, reminiscent of a statue.

He was bare-chested, with his left arm severed, making him resemble an ancient sculpture even more.

As he saw Zosia and the three Primordial Beings approaching, accompanied by two Dragon Gods, he began to stride forward, completely oblivious to the presence of Li Ang, an "outsider."

"Shahar, you’re finally back, I’ve been waiting for you a long time."

The voice of the armless marble Primordial Being was deep and resonant, paired with his robust physique, almost certainly giving Li Ang the impression of a brute.

He also felt an odd sense about this.

"Madman," Li Ang heard the disdainful whisper of the Double Pupils Primordial Being with light blue crystal skin.

"Jenova."

Zosia called out the name of the Marble Divine Spirit and looked at his severed arm: "What are you up to?"

"It was broken by Nidh—"

"I know it’s broken, I’m not interested in who did it."

Zosia stepped onto the wide Holy Sanctuary pathway that could serve as a giant’s walkway, groups of escorting people bowed in unison, murmuring chants in mysterious languages, of which Li Ang could discern only a few syllables similar to some spells in Spirit Casting Art and Curse Art.

"It was Nidhogg, it wasn’t to repay your favor that I went to the Magic Power Dimension."

Jenova opened his own Transcendent Treasure Vault, extracting another cluster of the Essence of Dragon, compared to Inanna’s essence that enveloped the surroundings with earth and stone, this one was more corrosive, so much so that just its appearance caused the faces of some attendants on either side to contort in pain, their skin ulcerating.

This corrosion was carried by Power of Dragon transmitted outwards; Li Ang also used Power of Dragon to neutralize it, blocking it.

Diao thanked him with a glance, the power of the young girl seemingly helpless against such corrosion, feeling pain immediately.

"It’s not about any favor, just a routine exchange with Esso."

Zosia said, taking the Nidhogg essence.

Li Ang watched from behind, smirking as Zosia claimed he owed no favors, but since he needed it, he simply took it without any concern for potential debts of gratitude.

Jenova chuckled: "I want you to help me with something."

"Arm? I’ll teach you a ’Body Manifestation’."

Li Ang had already stolen this technique; this Spirit Casting Art indeed can create limbs, and even powerful Primordial Beings can solidify them, essentially growing additional arms.

"Just like last time, you simultaneously used six weapons with Spirit Casting Art? Excellent, I’ve long wanted to steal it."

Jenova patted his severed arm: "After losing my hand this time, relying on a single arm in combat, I suddenly developed a prototype of a new Combat Technique. If one strives not to rely on using the torso to drive the arms, allowing them independently to act even if detached, perhaps both attacks and casting might be freer. With this Spirit Casting Art, I might be able to..."

The marble Primordial Being continued speaking, but Li Ang was no longer fully attentive.

As these Primordial Beings spoke, their language filtered through Ten Thousand Spirits and was comprehensible, but their pronunciation and tone likely resembled their own persona.

Whether faced directly its fragments, or reverberating in malevolent thoughts repeatedly, Li Ang was immensely familiar with this voice, which immediately clued him into who this person really was.
