Chapter 933: Chapter 456: Marble Divine Spirit (2)
Previously, whether it was intentional by the Illusion Realm of Ten Thousand Spirits to display, or Zosia truly expressed it this way, Li Ang had already seen that because of his friendship with the Six Dragons, he was influenced and was not the kind of Primordial Being who liked to enslave all beings.
"Aren’t you also a Dragon?" Li Ang asked Freyia.
"Fairy Dragons aren’t suited for pulling carriages. What do other Dragon Races have to do with me?"
"Alright, you truly fit the Dragon demeanor," Li Ang said.
In the Illusion Realm, he didn’t intend to offer any respect.
"What do you mean by that?" Freyia caught the confrontational tone of Li Ang, but she was not annoyed and instead probed the meaning behind the words, a form of expression that clearly didn’t exist in the Ancient Era.
As she asked, she pondered the meaning in the words, sensing a hint of it, and stared at Inanna, saying: "Is this hard rock fabricating my bad side for you? Makes sense, you’ve slept together, all kinds of things can be said."
Freyia sighed pitifully, "Unexpectedly, even such a dull Dragon has a day to smear others."
"Freyia!" Inanna was furious, clenched her fist, unable to maintain her form, turning into a Dragon Claw.
"I will surely prioritize believing her." Li Ang pulled the shoulder of the Earth Dragon, and Inanna paused, immediately turning pink-faced as her anger dissipated.
"Hmm." Freyia witnessed the scene, displaying a calm disdainful expression, but the wave of Spirituality indicated she was truly angry this time.
"Don’t insult the Star of Dawn during your conversation." Nearby, a follower of Zosia also stepped forward.
This one was the Primordial Being wearing a mask, his skin resembling gray crystal.
"Tangaroa, you truly are Zosia’s loyal servant," Freyia mocked.
"This is my honor."
The masked Primordial Being named Tangaroa was taciturn, and after speaking he stood without leaving, as if monitoring the people present not to speak ill of Zosia.
Li Ang himself didn’t have much to say, his acquaintance with this Primordial Being was shallow, and even Inanna only spoke about surface information.
Last night she discussed that although the Six Dragons had connections with Zosia, they mostly stayed with the Dragon Race, and their understanding of mortal leaders and heroes exceeded that of the mysterious Star of Dawn.
Li Ang then resumed chatting with Inanna while gazing down at the world below.
"Is what Ten Thousand Spirits is showing us now the same as the real Great Spirit of the Ancient Era?"
"The appearance is exactly the same, except it wouldn’t be like this..."
Inanna gestured with her hands, her words somewhat lacking, possibly due to the other Six Dragons not allowing her to leave the Divine Realm for years, making her far less articulate than Akuya.
She was both shocked and acknowledged by the scenery, thought for a while, then expressed her meaning: "It’s like using the artistic expression of mortals... hmm, to depict a miniature picture of the Ancient Era."
Li Ang nodded. Inanna said that the real Great Spirit wouldn’t portray the entire world as supported by it like this, but their deep connection with the world is just like the miniature scene portrays.
The whole world wasn’t very large, soon, the Crystal Carriage reached its destination’s sky.
As the height descended, Li Ang could see more clearly the order yet to become Nebis’ world—the fantastical races with powerful Magic Powers had their own kingdoms and cities, but in some places, near these cities, there were crystal-like wondrous structures, seemingly transcending this world, and the ambient Power alone was enough to make all beings prostrate.
This prostration was literal. Outside many Crystal Palaces, there were other races prostrating like servants.
As the Crystal Carriage descended again, approaching the ground, it passed through a blurred change of scene, and the surrounding environment turned into a normally proportioned world, no longer a miniature form.
It was like playing some strategy games, suddenly switching from a macro perspective to a specific one.
If Ten Thousand Spirits were a person, they would be well-suited as an art designer for a game company, capable of using such techniques to save the colleagues a significant amount of workload, even drastically reducing the resources invested in the game itself.
Li Ang thought this as he watched below when certain races recognized the Crystal Carriage and lowered their heads reverently. There were even fanatics who directly knelt and worshiped, crawling on their knees, bowing with each step forward.
Among them, the Horned Race, the Beast-Earkin, and the Elf were quite different from later generations, including their clothing, skin color, and physical characteristics.
Then, as the carriage slowed, Li Ang knew ahead was Zosia’s Holy Sanctuary.
Though the main buildings here were crystal-like, the platforms extending out and various auxiliary buildings were not and instead followed the styles of various races.
Li Ang could recognize them because of the unique architectural styles of the Douding Family and Horned Race. Due to their size, the door frames and domes had corresponding specifications, and the materials of columns and walls leaned toward metal and natural materials respectively.
As for the Elf, no matter how divided they were, how barren or affluent their environment was, there was always an intention to make things exquisite, and in this Holy Sanctuary, it exhausted all grandeur. If not for the central Crystal Tower overpowering it with its internal Spirit and Magic Power, these buildings might even overshadow the Holy Sanctuary’s owner, hard to imagine how Zosia could bear it.
Or perhaps Zosia didn’t care at all?
Of course, as a top-tier Primordial Being, his return still had pomp. At the entrance, the road leading straight to the Crystal Tower’s sides, various races were already lined up neatly, standing on both sides.
