Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Chapter 411-She Is Showing Her True Colors Now

Gigi:

It wasn’t simply their tone that shocked me.

They weren’t upset because I had raised my voice.

They were angry because of what I had called Verity.

I studied their faces, my mouth slowly falling open.

"Did you two just yell at me?"

"Gigi, you were calling her names," Jaguar replied harshly. "I just told you I have feelings for her. She’s my fated mate. How exactly do you expect me to react?"

"Did you forget that Verity helped Justin punish me?" I shot back. "Did you forget those screenshots? Those messages she sent him, telling him to belittle me?"

My voice had turned rough instead of high-pitched like it usually did when I became angry.

"Well, it’s not like your brother didn’t fuck her over too. He had been bullying her for years" Theodore blurted.

I stared at him while he continued,

"Maybe that’s why she did it. It was wrong, but she was young too. Your brother was bullying her, and maybe she wanted revenge. Tit for tat."

Even Jaguar seemed to agree with him.

I pressed both hands against my chest and stepped back.

This time, my reaction wasn’t exaggerated.

I was genuinely shocked.

The brothers seemed to realize how their words sounded because they immediately became uneasy, glancing around the room.

"We didn’t mean it like that," Jaguar started.

I raised my palm, stopping him, and let out a small, disbelieving laugh.

"Oh, wow."

I pointed at myself.

"You think I deserved everything I went through because my brother was a scumbag?"

"No. That’s not what we mean," Theodoe said quickly. "We’re just trying to help you understand that—"

I stumbled another step backward.

"Oh!"

I gasped and clutched my chest.

"What’s wrong?" Theodore asked, rushing forward to support me.

I slapped his hand away.

Then, without another word, I dragged myself out of the office.

"Wait, please."

I guessed both brothers had finally realized I wasn’t someone they could simply yell at and expect to let it go.

I started crying hysterically.

Honestly, it wasn’t only their tone that hurt me. It was the thought of the Moon Goddess.

Why had she given someone else what I wanted so desperately?

I sobbed so loudly that everyone nearby turned to stare at me in shock.

And of course, Verity was standing just outside the room.

Then I saw both brothers coming after her.

I quickly wiped my tears and, still whimpering, headed upstairs.

Straight to Ragnar’s office.

I needed to talk to him now.

I had to tell him what his brothers were doing.

The moment I reached his floor, everyone stood and greeted me.

But I wasn’t in the mood to respond to those pathetic losers.

I was soon to be the official Luna Queen.

Was my entire purpose here really to keep accepting their hellos and smiling politely at everyone?

The second I reached Ragnar’s office, I shoved the door open.

He was busy working.

His head snapped up, irritation flashing across his face at whoever had dared to barge in like that.

Then he saw me.

He noticed my tear-filled eyes, and his expression immediately changed.

"Gigi? What’s going on? Why are you crying?" he asked, rising from his chair and crossing the room quickly.

"Your brothers!" I cried, pointing toward the door.

"What? What happened to them?" he asked, glancing toward it.

"Did you know they were mates with Verity?"

I had expected guilt to cross his face.

Instead, he barely reacted.

"Gigi, that was a personal matter. I thought I would talk to you about it once everything was resolved."

I froze.

"Well, what exactly were you planning to do, huh? You sent her back home, but she’s already back at the office. And guess what? Your brothers are at each other’s throats while she stands in their office smirking."

As I told him what I had seen, his jaw tightened.

"They’re fighting in the office?" he asked.

"Yes. She was in the room with them. They were begging her to accept them, then they started yelling at each other. It got so ugly."

I paused and drew in a shaky breath.

"If I hadn’t intervened..."

I let the silence linger.

"I’m worried they might have attacked each other."

That was all I needed to say.

Ragnar immediately rushed out of the office to find his brothers.

By the time we reached the office, it was completely empty.

The brothers had already left the building.

One of the employees told Ragnar that Jaguar and Theodore had stormed out only moments earlier.

Ragnar immediately headed outside, calling both of them as he moved, but neither brother answered.

I had no idea what was going on.

I hurried after him, desperate to see what that bitch had done now.

And suddenly, I started noticing a pattern.

Verity’s arrival had been strange from the beginning.

She had appeared out of nowhere without telling anyone, and almost immediately, all of our lives had been turned upside down.

I had become so confident in everything I thought I had achieved that I had never properly questioned why she had returned.

Worse, I hadn’t made sure she stayed away from the brothers.

As Ragnar and I marched toward the parking lot, I finally spotted all three of them.

Theodore and Jaguar were standing with Verity.

A strange feeling settled in my stomach.

How had she returned and managed to get this close to them so quickly?

Was that really a coincidence?

No.

Nothing was a coincidence.

As we approached, part of their conversation reached us.

Verity was crying, and both brothers were comforting her.

"What the fuck is going on?" Ragnar demanded as soon as he reached them.

He grabbed both of his brothers and pulled them away from Verity.

"Do you realize this is my office?"

Verity straightened and looked him directly in the eyes as he hissed at her.

"This is exactly why I didn’t want you at my mansion," Ragnar snapped at her, pointing in her direction. "I didn’t want my brothers at each other’s throats."

She turned toward me.

I lifted my chin and folded my arms across my chest.

I wasn’t afraid of her finding out that I had complained to Ragnar about her.

"You’re not coming to the office anymore," Ragnar ordered.

There it was.

Finally, someone willing to put her in her place.

"What? You can’t do that," Theodore protested.

I bit my bottom lip.

They had never spoken to Ragnar like that before.

That alone confirmed I hadn’t been wrong.

This woman was dangerous for them.

I had always known how to keep the brothers together, how to calm them down and remind them that they loved each other.

Then Verity appeared, and suddenly they were turning against one another.

"You don’t have to say anything," Verity hissed at Ragnar.

Her tone shocked me.

How could she speak to him like that?

"I’ll put my resignation on your desk myself," she continued. "Because I’m not going to stand here and get called a slut because of something my brother did."

Her voice rose into a scream.

Ragnar’s fists clenched.

I wanted him to put her in her place. I wanted him to punish her for speaking to him with such disrespect.

But I could already see why he hesitated.

Both of his brothers were standing beside him, visibly tense.

"Apparently, your mate is the only victim who matters," Verity spat. "I’ve suffered too. I’ve been through hell, yet somehow I’m still expected to dance around her, please her, make her happy, and help her heal."

I stared at her.

Verity had completely lost her mind.

One mate bond with both brothers, and she was already showing her true colors.
