Fated love: the unwanted bride

Chapter 2634: He Turned Away Holding Jasmine Yale

Under the dim lighting, she was evidently like a frightened cat, curling up her body, letting the drugs storm within her.

"President Caddel, she is your son’s secretary, but that doesn’t mean she’s yours. Jasmine Yale, do you want to go with him? Hmm?"

"No, no..." She shook her head, only having enough strength left to shake her head.

If Sylvan Cheney hadn’t held her waist, she would have collapsed to the ground.

The power of the drug was too strong.

Her mind was already starting to get fuzzy, her whole self not clear, dazed and muddled, with only the sound of two men speaking and the tense pressure in her ears.

"President Caddel, don’t do something that forces others into difficult situations. When a person reaches a certain age, committing a crime and leaving a stain would be unsightly. This is UT, not your Kong Hong." Sylvan Cheney warned with each word.

"Where did you come from? This woman is mine, are you openly trying to snatch her from me?" Saying this, Navy Caddel pulled a phone out of his pocket.

"Navy Caddel, listen clearly, she doesn’t want to go with you. Your woman? A woman of your wishful thinking, in-your-mind woman?" Sylvan Cheney sneered.

"You really have some guts, are you not afraid that you can’t even walk out of this hotel? For so many years, no one has dared to snatch a woman from me." Navy Caddel’s glasses reflected his viciousness, having lost one woman he loved most, he wasn’t going to lose another.

"Oh? Then wouldn’t that make me the first?" Sylvan Cheney’s eyes held a cold, bleak chill, his gaze sharp as if forged from ice.

In this season, the corridor was very cold.

But Jasmine Yale’s body was burning hot, even Sylvan Cheney felt the heat radiating from her.

Navy Caddel gave Sylvan Cheney a fierce look and dialed a number: "Room 8299, there’s a disturbance."

After finishing the call, Navy Caddel stepped up to Sylvan Cheney, trying to pull Jasmine Yale from his embrace.

But, Sylvan Cheney didn’t allow it.

"This brother, there’s no need to make things unpleasant over a woman. She and I just have some disagreements, you better not get involved, otherwise if an arm or leg ends up broken, it wouldn’t be worth it."

"Threatening me? I happen to not fall for such tricks." Sylvan Cheney’s voice was indifferent.

Sylvan Cheney looked down to see Jasmine Yale curled up in his arms, biting her lips, her face abnormally flushed.

And she didn’t even know where her shoes had gone, standing barefoot on the ground.

He picked her up horizontally, whispering in her ear, "Hold on tight."

Jasmine Yale, with just a little consciousness left, grasped onto Sylvan Cheney, not letting herself fall.

"Stop right there." Navy Caddel shouted at him, "If you dare take this woman today, you’ll be going against the entire Caddel Family, can you afford that?"

"Then try me." Sylvan Cheney responded heavily.

Holding Jasmine Yale, he turned towards the exit of the corridor.

Before he could walk a few steps, a few bodyguards appeared in front of Sylvan Cheney.

All were intimidating tall men, fierce and brutal, eyes brimming with malice.

The men blocked Sylvan Cheney’s path, simultaneously shading a patch of light.

Jasmine Yale, nestled in Sylvan Cheney’s embrace, forced her eyes open. She felt uncomfortable, squirming in his arms, but to no avail, the drug was too overpowering.

When she opened her eyes, she happened to see these bodyguards, her fingers tightly clutching Sylvan Cheney’s suit.

"It’s okay." He bowed his head, speaking.

Navy Caddel coldly chuckled, stepping forward.
