Raising an eyebrow, Monk slowly turned his head around to look at him and said, "A job? From who? And here I thought everything is already over and we're just having a short break before going back"

Genesis chuckled before saying, "Its from Mike, this job was supposed to be his, but as you already know, he was stuck before in the middle of his MT and couldn't do it so he contacted me out of convenience since we're already here, or more accurately, he's just lazy to fly here"

"From Michael? Since when have you been so generous that you started doing things for free now?" Monk asked with a laugh.

"When did I say it was free? He's giving me an Epic Grade weapon in exchange for this" Genesis replied with a chuckle as he started dressing the burgers.

"What?! Why is it only you and not both of us?!"

Listening to his words, Monk abruptly sat up from his chair and turned to face his direction, with little anger on his face.

He was envious since Epic equipment is hard to come by even for them.

Genesis laughed as he walked over to the seat beside Monk before biting onto the burger in his hand while handing over the other to his friend saying, "It's because you're not capable enough"

"Ohhh f*ck you as*hole!" Monk cursed at him with a laugh.

"So what is it that Mike is willing to pay you an Epic item for this job?" he added moments later as his curiosity finally got the better of him.

Genesis didn't say anything and instead started searching for something in his phone before showing what it was to his friend.

"Damn, since when did he start becoming a man of justice?" Monk chuckled after reading the contents on the phone.

"Well, what that person did is still despicable and that's coming from me, a person who had taken numerous lives" Genesis replied, laughing.
