After finishing the yellow food, Nick Wilde immediately picked up a few mouthfuls of the crisp green stalks.

They were sour, refreshing, and carried a light vinegar-like flavor. The sharp taste paired perfectly with the yellow dish, balancing its richness and making the entire meal even more appetizing.

Before he knew it, Nick Wilde had finished the entire bowl.

He stared at the empty pottery bowl for a moment.

He had never imagined that something so simple could taste this good.

The next day, the food delivered to his room was completely different.

This time, it was a plate of bright red fruits covered in long, sticky threads of syrup. Nick Wilde had never seen anything like them before.

He cautiously picked one up.

The moment he bit into it, his eyes widened.

Sweet.

It was incredibly sweet.

It was unlike anything he had eaten before.

On the third day, he received something crispy and golden, resembling a thin pancake.

On the fourth day, he was given a beautifully cooked red fish.

Every day, the Wolf Tribe seemed to have something new to eat.

Before he realized it, five days had passed.

After confirming that Nick Wilde had shown no symptoms of the plague toxin, Martin finally allowed him to leave his temporary confinement.

Mark was also released.

The moment he was out, he began complaining.

"That Kaelira is really troublesome! She makes everything complicated. We can’t eat this, can’t touch that, can’t go here, can’t go there..."

He continued grumbling as they walked.

Nick Wilde, however, remained unusually quiet.

Seeing that his companion wasn’t responding, Mark turned his head.

Then he froze.

His good friend was staring blankly in a certain direction.

Mark followed his gaze.

Sora was standing not far away, busy teaching several members of the Tribe how to process sweet potato starch.

Mark’s mouth twitched.

Again?

Seriously?

Hadn’t his friend already given up?

How could he start staring at Kaelira again after only a few days?

Sora herself didn’t notice.

She was completely focused on her work, explaining each step carefully while the Tribe members gathered around her.

Xavier, however, had sharp eyes.

The moment he noticed Nick Wilde staring at Sora, he immediately shifted his body sideways and blocked the man’s view.

Nick Wilde’s line of sight disappeared.

Xavier’s lips curled slightly.

That was enough.

Seeing this, Mark couldn’t bear to watch any longer.

He grabbed Nick Wilde by the arm.

"Come on."

He dragged his friend away before things became even more embarrassing.

These people were all crazy.

How could they treat someone as ordinary-looking as Sora like she was some priceless treasure?

Mark couldn’t understand it.

If he looked at Sora twice, he still wouldn’t understand what everyone saw in her.

But the others clearly thought differently.

Lucas happened to notice Xavier suddenly turning around.

At first, he thought Xavier was simply blocking the sunlight.

Then his eyes swept toward the distance and landed on Nick Wilde’s retreating back.

Lucas immediately snorted.

"One bear wasn’t enough. Now we’ve got a red fox too."

Sora was too busy processing the sweet potato starch to hear him.

Ace, who was standing nearby, heard the remark clearly.

He lifted his eyes and glanced in Nick Wilde’s direction.

However, he didn’t take it seriously.

Where could a Rank Four Beastman possibly get?

At the very least, someone needed Rank Five Beast Energy to stand on equal footing with them.

The bear had been dangerous enough.

A Rank Four red fox wasn’t worth worrying about.

Meanwhile, Ryan’s eyes were practically popping out of his head.

He stared at the grayish strands of sweet potato starch Sora was producing.

His Female Master was incredible!

How did she know how to do all these things?

First, there was pottery.

Then flour.

Then fish.

Then potatoes.

Now she could even turn sweet potatoes into something like this!

Ryan was filled with admiration.

As for Nick Wilde, the supposed newcomer everyone was discussing, Ryan didn’t even bother looking at him.

Lukan was similarly unconcerned.

His expression remained gentle as he watched Sora.

Yesterday’s events had made him even more certain that Sora had him in her heart.

Therefore, someone like Nick Wilde didn’t matter.

As for Damien, he glanced back and forth between Nick Wilde and Sora before shaking his head.

This Red Fox probably still had a long way to go.

His Little Female was currently completely focused on her own affairs.

She was busy from morning until night.

There was no room in her mind for anything else.

On the other side, after Mark dragged Nick Wilde away, he finally stopped and turned toward him.

He sighed deeply.

"Brother Nick, why have you fallen for Kaelira again?"

Nick Wilde remained silent.

Mark rubbed his forehead.

"Last time, I thought you’d completely given up. I didn’t expect you to start staring at her again after only a few days."

If he hadn’t personally witnessed how busy Sora had been these past few days, he might have suspected she had secretly given Nick Wilde some kind of love potion.

Previously, Nick Wilde had been blinded by Sora’s beauty.

But after being rejected and humiliated twice, Mark had assumed his friend had finally seen reality.

Logically speaking, he shouldn’t have fallen for her again.

Yet here he was.

Staring again.

Mark couldn’t understand what had gone wrong with his friend’s brain.

Nick Wilde, however, couldn’t stop thinking about what he had seen.

Sora had stood there patiently teaching everyone how to make sweet potato starch.

She had explained everything clearly and methodically.

How had she even thought of doing this?

And the yellow food he had eaten several days ago...

He had asked Mark about it.

It was called a potato.

Nick Wilde had never heard of potatoes before, let alone imagined that something buried beneath the soil could be transformed into such delicious food.

The more he learned about Sora, the more mysterious she became.

Her appearance might not resemble the goddess he had once imagined.

But her words, actions, intelligence, and knowledge possessed an indescribable charm.

Finally, Nick Wilde couldn’t help asking, "How did your sister learn to make that sweet potato starch?"

"What?"

Mark stared at him.

He had been giving him heartfelt advice, yet somehow his friend had managed to return to Sora again.

Nick Wilde quickly added, "The sweet potato starch looks delicious. I’ve never heard of your Tribe making anything like that before."

Mark scratched his head.

"I don’t know either. I never realized her cooking was this good before."

He thought for a moment.

"According to her, she learned it from her former Adoptive Mother, the Black Bear."

Nick Wilde nodded thoughtfully.

"Then her Adoptive Mother must have been very impressive."

"That’s for sure."

Mark’s expression became proud.

"The pottery our Tribe uses now was also something Kaelira learned from her Adoptive Mother. Without kaelira, we wouldn’t have pottery like this."

"What?"

Nick Wilde stared at him.

"Kaelira taught your Tribe how to make pottery too?"

His expression was filled with disbelief.

"Yeah. Didn’t I tell you?"

"No."

Nick Wilde shook his head.

Mark was speechless.

How had he forgotten to mention something so important?

Nick Wilde was genuinely shocked.

He had seen pottery in the City-State before.

Such things were expensive and valuable. His own Tribe had only possessed a few pieces purchased from the City-State, and they were usually brought out only when important guests visited.

Yet the Wolf Tribe was using pottery for ordinary meals.

And Sora had apparently taught them how to make it.

The more Nick Wilde learned, the more impressed he became.

However, Mark waved his hand impatiently.

"But that’s not important."

He pointed at Nick Wilde.

"The most important thing right now is that you stop staring at Kaelira."

He lowered his voice.

"I’m telling you, her six Beast Husbands aren’t people you can provoke. They’re all Rank Five Beast Transformations."

Mark’s expression became serious.

"If you go after Kaelira, there won’t be a good outcome."

"We should focus on cultivating our own Supernatural Abilities instead."

Nick Wilde nodded.

"Yes."

But his mind was clearly somewhere else.

Sora...

That Female was becoming more and more interesting.

That evening, after finishing dinner, Sora returned to the Wild Kitchen.

She uncovered the yogurt jar and scooped herself a full bowl.

Although Colorful Sunset and the other Females had become very good at cooking, Sora still wanted something sour.

Pregnancy had changed some of her cravings.

She sat down at the round table and began eating.

Before long, Ace and the others arrived from the Tribe carrying their own food.

As usual, they didn’t particularly enjoy eating with everyone else, so they brought their dishes over to the round table.

Sora continued eating her yogurt.

Seeing the white substance on her lips, Lucas was just about to say something when a familiar voice suddenly came from behind them.

"Kaelira, I heard you know how to make pottery. Can you teach me?"

Everyone turned.

Nick Wilde stood there holding a pottery bowl.

His gaze was fixed directly on Sora.

Ace’s expression immediately changed.

He slowly turned his head toward Ryan.

Then he looked back at Nick Wilde.

"Oh."

His tone was flat.

"Another one has come to ask about pottery."

He glanced at Ryan.

"Ryan, this one can be your apprentice. He’s using the same tricks you used before."

Ryan’s face instantly became stiff.

"..."

Why did Ace have to say it like that?

Sora was also stunned.

Why had Nick Wilde come over again?

She calmly took another bite of yogurt before answering.

"I won’t teach you."

Nick Wilde froze.

Sora continued, "Sunset knows how to make it. If you want to learn, you can ask her."

Then her expression became serious.

"However, there’s still a lot of plague toxin around. I don’t recommend you going to the Red Land right now. You could easily get sick."

Nick Wilde paused.

His eyes dropped toward the white substance in Sora’s bowl.

He had never seen anything like it.

He was just about to ask what it was when Xavier suddenly moved.

He glanced at Nick Wilde.

Then, without giving the Red Fox another chance to speak, he reached out and pulled Sora toward him.

Sora’s mouth was still smeared with yogurt.

Xavier lowered his head and kissed her.

"Kaelira," he said casually, "there’s a Red Fox here who’s too noisy."

He glanced toward Nick Wilde.

"Do you want to change locations with me tonight?"

Sora: "..."

She stared at him blankly.

For some reason, she suddenly felt that the yogurt tasted especially sour today.

Meanwhile, everyone else who had originally been staring at Nick Wilde immediately turned their attention toward Xavier.

Their expressions were almost identical.

Gritted teeth.

Anger.

And a silent question.

Was it really necessary to be this arrogant?

And worse—

Did he really have to do it right in front of an outsider?
