Farming Family's Pocket Dimension: A Charmed Little Lady Comes to Farm
Chapter 233: No Martial Ethics
Er Laizi stood up with a chuckle. "What, little girl? Scared I’ll take the silver and not leave? Fine, I’ll go outside with you."
"Your second master here is a man of his word. Once I get the silver today, I’ll be on my way."
Gu Fei shot Er Laizi a look. ’No, I’m just worried that if a fight breaks out, it’ll scare my customers and damage the flowers and plants. That would be no good.’
With a calm expression, Gu Fei walked ahead. Some of the customers in the shop looked over curiously. Gu Fei gave a beaming smile and raised a hand. "Everyone, please, keep eating and drinking!"
Once outside, Gu Fei crossed her arms and waited for Er Laizi.
Young Master Zhou happened to stroll out from next door. He smiled when he saw Gu Fei. "Little Fei, what are you doing standing out here? It’s lunchtime. Is the shop not busy or something?"
Gu Fei smiled back at him. "Brother Zhou, it’s easier to get things done out here."
Young Master Zhou was completely bewildered. "Get what done?"
Just then, Er Laizi also came out. He sauntered over and held his hand out to Gu Fei. "Hand over the silver."
Without a single wasted word, Gu Fei lifted her leg and delivered a side kick, striking Er Laizi squarely in the head.
Er Laizi’s head snapped to the side. He swayed but didn’t fall. Gu Fei immediately twisted, leaped up from a standing position, and threw a whirlwind kick, sending Er Laizi sprawling forward onto the ground.
Young Master Zhou stood by, dumbfounded. ’This... this... Little Fei looks so delicate and gentle, but she actually knows kung fu!’
The shop’s doors and windows were all wide open, so by now, the customers inside had seen everything too.
Uncle Du shouted, "Yeah!"
"What amazing kung fu, little lady!"
Gu Fei gave a beaming wave to the people in the shop, then turned and planted her foot on Er Laizi’s back. Lowering her gaze to the man on the ground, she said, "Go back and tell the person who sent you."
"Every grievance has a source, and every debt a debtor. He should go after the person he has a problem with!"
"What kind of hero hides in the shadows and only targets the innocent?"
Er Laizi was like a turtle flipped onto its back, his limbs flailing uselessly, unable to get up.
He shouted indignantly, "You wretched girl, you have no martial virtue! You sneak-attacked me when I wasn’t ready!"
Gu Fei sneered, pressing down harder with her foot and grinding it a few times. "Do I need to show martial virtue to someone like you?"
"Listen to me carefully. Go back and tell your master that I, Gu Fei, have no quarrel with him. Tell him to stop messing with me."
"And as for you, if you ever dare to show your face at my shop again, I’ll beat you every single time I see you!"
After speaking, Gu Fei ground her heel into Er Laizi’s back one more time for emphasis before finally letting him up.
Er Laizi wasn’t seriously injured, but the humiliation was fucking immense. He’d never been so disgraced in his life—beaten by a little girl.
’Even though he, Er Laizi, was a scoundrel, he still had his pride! How could he possibly show his face in Ping’an City after this?’
He scrambled up from the ground and glared viciously at Gu Fei. "You little bitch! That does it! Today, I’m gonna finish you!"
Before the words were even out of his mouth, a fist the size of a clay pot came swinging toward Gu Fei.
Gu Fei dodged to the side, shot out a hand to grab his wrist, and forced it down. She then twisted his arm behind his back, secured his other arm, and kicked his legs out from under him. With a powerful twist of her waist, she threw Er Laizi violently to the ground with a shoulder toss.
Er Laizi slammed onto the bluestone ground, the impact feeling like it had turned his internal organs to stone. He couldn’t catch his breath for a long moment.
Gu Fei planted her foot on his chest and ground it in a few times. "What, you don’t understand what I’m saying? I told you to go back and tell your master that every grievance has a source and every debt a debtor. Tell him to stop causing me trouble. Do you hear me?"
