Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

Chapter 218: Ocean January Del Rosario

Time had passed so quickly that even Angel and April could hardly believe how much their lives had changed. It felt like only yesterday that they had been falling in love, learning new things about each other, and slowly building a future together. Then came the first pregnancy, their wedding, and the arrival of their first daughter, Lucy May. Now, here they were again, welcoming their second little girl into the world.

Ocean January Del Rosario was a beautiful little Omega with Angel’s red-wine hair, a tiny bundle of joy who had already stolen the hearts of her family.

"I can’t believe it. I carried her for nine months, and she still had to take your hair colour!" April cried, looking down at the precious baby resting in her arms.

They were in their bedroom, where April had been resting comfortably in bed with her newborn daughter. Lulu was also there, sitting close to her mothers, while Angel sat beside the edge of the bed with a smile that had hardly left her face since Ocean’s arrival. She was still overwhelmed with happiness, finding herself staring at her second daughter every few seconds as though she needed to remind herself that the little girl was finally here.

Angel leaned closer to admire Ocean’s little face before looking at her wife.

"Well, maybe the third one will have dark hair?" she suggested hopefully.

April slowly turned her head towards her Alpha, her expression changing as she let out a little growl. She clenched her teeth so tightly that Angel could almost imagine her hissing at her.

"Or maybe not," Angel quickly corrected herself, raising her hands in surrender. "She looks beautiful, by the way. Well done, my love."

She knew better than to push her luck. The last thing she wanted was to spend the night sleeping in the stable because she had made another careless comment about their family planning.

April gave her a suspicious look before turning her attention back to Ocean, gently brushing her fingers against the baby’s soft cheek. Angel watched them with a warm smile, feeling grateful that both her wife and their new daughter were safe and healthy.

"My little sister, Ocean!" Lulu suddenly announced, her face lighting up with excitement. "I’m going to tell Angelo and Daisy that I have a sister now!"

The little girl could barely contain herself. She happily bounced on the bed, celebrating her younger sister’s arrival as though she wanted the entire world to know that their family had grown by one more person.

"Hey, careful, Lulu. Mama and Ocean need to rest," Angel reminded her.

She quickly reached for her daughter and lifted her into her arms before Lulu could bounce any closer to April and the newborn. Lulu giggled as Angel settled her against her hip, though her eyes remained fixed on her baby sister.

Angel couldn’t help wondering when her little girl had grown so much. It felt like only yesterday that Lulu had been a tiny baby who could fit comfortably in her arms, depending on her mothers for everything. Now, she had grown taller than one of Angel’s skateboards, a thought that never failed to make Angel smile whenever she noticed just how much her daughter had changed.

With April recovering from childbirth and needing plenty of rest, Angel had taken it upon herself to handle most of the household chores while making sure her wife had everything she needed. Fortunately, she had a little helper who was always eager to follow her around.

Their home had a small farm just outside the house, which Angel had created mainly to provide fresh food for the family. It had everything from poultry and dairy animals to a vegetable garden where they grew some of their own produce. Although Angel enjoyed working on the ranch, growing crops was something she had needed to learn from scratch. Sabrina had patiently taught her how to plant vegetables, care for the soil, and keep the crops healthy, and Angel had put those lessons to good use.

Every morning, Lulu would wake up and make her way to her parents’ bedroom door, knocking until she managed to wake Angel. Once her mother was out of bed, the two of them would head outside together to feed the chickens and water the vegetables. It had become part of their daily routine, one that Lulu enjoyed so much that she sometimes seemed more excited about visiting the farm than eating breakfast.

That morning was no different. After taking care of the animals and watering the garden, Angel prepared the meal April had requested. Her wife wanted rice with chicken salad, and Angel made sure to prepare everything with plenty of love, taking her time to arrange the food before carrying it into the bedroom.

Lulu followed closely behind, eager to help her mother care for April. When they entered the room, Angel placed the food where April could reach it comfortably before sitting beside her wife. April adjusted herself against the pillows while Angel picked up the spoon and began feeding her.

"I want to feed Mama too," Lulu announced, looking at the food with interest.

Angel smiled and handed her the spoon, allowing the little girl to take over while both mothers watched her patiently. Lulu carefully scooped up a small amount of food, concentrating as she brought it towards April’s mouth. She looked so serious about the task that Angel had to hold back a laugh.

April opened her mouth to accept the food, giving her daughter an approving smile once she had swallowed.

Lulu beamed with pride, clearly pleased with herself.

"Can I also feed Ocean?" she asked, turning her attention towards the newborn..

"No, sweetie. She’s still too young," April explained gently. "In a few months, when she’s a little bigger, you can help feed your baby sister."

Lulu’s excitement immediately faded. She lowered her shoulders and pouted, folding her arms across her chest as she considered this unfair arrangement.

"That is so sad," she complained.

Angel chuckled, reaching over to smooth her daughter’s hair.

"It’s not sad, sweetheart. You were once just like Ocean. When you were a baby, only Mama April was allowed to feed you. You couldn’t feed yourself, and you needed your mother to take care of you." She paused before adding, "Even your horse, Lily, drinks milk from her mother when she’s little. Baby animals need their mothers to feed them too."

Lulu listened carefully, looking from Angel to April and then down at Ocean. She seemed to be thinking about everything her mother had just explained, and after a few moments, her expression brightened again.

"Okay, I will wait. And I will be the first one to feed her, okay?"

Both mothers smiled at her determination, touched by how eager she was to take care of her little sister. April reached out and gently stroked Lulu’s cheek while Angel watched the two of them, her heart full as she took in the sight of her growing family.

Lulu picked up the spoon again, ready to continue feeding April. This time, however, she had something else in mind. She carefully scooped up another spoonful of food, held it in front of her mother’s mouth, and repeated the familiar words Angel always used whenever she tried to feed her.

"Mama, open up. Here comes the choo-choo train..."
