Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

Chapter 207: Giving Lucy May To Grandma

  • Next Chapter

Angel and April had finally come up with a plan to spend a night alone together without worrying about their daughter interrupting them every few minutes. After seven months of failed attempts to enjoy some private time, they had decided to leave baby Lulu in Grandma Lucinda’s care for the night. They trusted her completely, and since Lucy May was familiar with the Del Rosario mansion, they hoped everything would go smoothly.

While April stayed home waiting for her wife to return, Angel took their daughter to the mansion. Before heading back, however, she made a stop at the twins’ house to deliver a piglet they had ordered from the ranch.

Carlos and Sabrina were already busy preparing for their son’s upcoming one-and-a-half-year birthday party. With the celebration scheduled for the following day, they had plenty of arrangements to finish, but they still took a moment to meet Angel when she arrived.

She handed the piglet to Carlos, who accepted it with a pleased expression. The little animal wriggled in his arms while Angel looked between him and the piglet, wondering what the twins intended to do with it.

"What are you using that pig for?"

Carlos glanced at the animal before turning back to her with a smile.

"Sabrina and I have decided to give this pig as a gift to Angel. It’s time for him to have his companion..." he explained.

Angel stared at him, wondering whether she had heard correctly.

"And you chose a pig?"

"Yes, a pig. They can be pets too. Also, our mother is allergic to furry animals, and she can only accept pigs or fish as pets..." Sabrina explained, apparently seeing nothing strange about their decision.

Angel looked at the piglet again, then shook her head in disbelief. She understood their reasoning, but she couldn’t help questioning their choice. Out of all the gifts they could have bought, the twins had settled on a pig as a companion for their son.

"Just buy the lil dude a robo toy. But since you have already made payment, no refund. Good luck with the pig. See you tomorrow for his party," Angel said.

She climbed into her jeep before either of them could drag her into another conversation. Her mind was already on April, who was waiting at home, and she had no intention of wasting any more time than necessary.

Carlos remained outside with the piglet in his arms, watching as Angel settled behind the wheel.

"Goodbye, and bring Lucy May with you!" he called, waving at her.

Angel waved back before driving away, eager to get home and begin the evening she and April had been looking forward to for weeks.

On her way home, she stopped at a store to pick up the last few things she needed. After months of interrupted attempts at intimacy, she was determined to make this evening count. With Grandma Lucinda looking after Lulu, there was finally a chance for her and April to enjoy each other’s company without having to rush back to their parental duties.

She browsed the aisles, picked out a bottle of wine, a packet of condoms, and some candles, then placed everything inside a grocery bag. Even the thought of what awaited her at home brought a smile to her face. April would be waiting for her, and for once, there would be no baby monitor interrupting their plans.

Angel was in such a good mood that she barely noticed the people approaching her until a familiar voice called out.

"Hey, wassup, Captain?"

She turned to find Benny extending her hand for a greeting. Angel shook it before greeting CJ, who stood beside her.

The two women worked for her and often spent their free time hanging around the store. Their presence wasn’t unusual, but the timing couldn’t have been worse. Angel had somewhere important to be, and she didn’t want a casual conversation to delay her return.

"What are you two doing here?" she asked.

"We are here with our women. They are around the corner buying stuff..." Benny explained.

"Oh, okay."

Angel glanced in the direction Benny had indicated, then looked down at her grocery bag. She could already imagine where the conversation might lead. They would probably ask when she planned to resume fishing, suggest hanging out together, or invite her to share a drink.

On another day, she might have entertained the idea. Tonight, however, she had more important plans, and she wasn’t willing to let anything get in the way.

"Okay, I have to go. See you girls some other time. Bye," she said, preparing to leave.

"Angel!"

The sudden scream stopped her in her tracks.

"Fucking hell... can’t I just get laid in peace..." she muttered, turning towards the voice.

Lola was hurrying over with a ridiculous number of shopping bags, looking as excited as someone who had just bumped into her favourite celebrity. Angel watched her approach, already regretting that she hadn’t left a few seconds earlier.

Upon reaching them, Lola immediately handed her bags to her wife, CJ, who took the extra load without complaint. Meanwhile, Benny helped Mary, her own wife, with the shopping she was carrying.

Angel stood there, wondering how a quick trip to the store had turned into an unexpected reunion.

"Angel, what are you doing here?" Mary asked.

"Shopping," Angel replied bluntly.

She wasn’t trying to be rude, but her patience was wearing thin. All she wanted was to finish her errands and return to her woman. The wine and candles were ready, and she had everything else she needed. There was no reason to stand around discussing why she had come to the store.

After exchanging greetings with the women, Angel excused herself and announced that she was heading home. Finally, she turned away, ready to make her escape.

Then the bottom of her grocery bag gave way.

The items tumbled onto the floor before she could react, scattering across the ground in front of everyone. Angel stared at the mess in disbelief, wondering what else could possibly go wrong that evening.

Of all the possible moments for the bag to tear, it had chosen the worst one.

She quickly crouched down to gather her belongings, hoping to collect everything before the others paid too much attention. Unfortunately, Lola was already reaching for the fallen items.

Her hand landed directly on the packet of condoms.

Lola paused, staring at what she had picked up. A moment later, her face lit up with unmistakable mischief.

"Ohhhhhhhhh, somebody is planning on wrecking their Omega tonight! Are you planning on using every..."

Angel snatched the packet from her hand before she could finish. Her face burned with embarrassment, and the irritation building inside her was enough to make her clench her jaw. She had spent the entire evening looking forward to some private time with her wife, only to have her plans exposed in front of her workers and their partners.

Slowly, she turned towards CJ, holding the packet firmly in her hand.

"Alpha, get your woman in line..."

She didn’t wait for CJ to respond. After collecting the rest of her belongings, Angel grabbed her grocery bag and stormed out of the store without looking back.
