Chapter 176: Wedding Party

Finally, they were officially a married couple. After the beautiful wedding ceremony was finished, it was time for the reception.

It was already evening, and the open field had been completely redecorated into a beautiful reception party. The original wedding decorations were still placed around the area, but the setting now had a much warmer and more festive feeling for the grand celebration.

The soft evening light covered the field while small lights had been placed around the reception area, making everything glow beautifully. The flowers from the wedding ceremony were still everywhere, but now there were extra decorations around the tables and dance floor to make the place feel more like a celebration.

The two brides sat closely together at their special decorated seats, while all the other guests had their own chairs and tables neatly arranged around the field.

The long tables were filled with delicious food, fine wine, and different kinds of hot cuisine for everyone to enjoy. Plates and sparkling glasses were placed neatly across the tables, while the rich smell of the different dishes filled the evening air.

There was a massive wedding cake as well, standing beautifully right at the center of the reception area, waiting for the newly married couple to cut it together.

After everything they had been through together, Angel and April were finally married, and now they could sit back and celebrate the beginning of their new life together.

For Angel, it still felt slightly unreal.

Only a few hours ago, she had been standing at the altar, looking at April in her wedding dress and promising to spend the rest of her life beside her.

Now, April was sitting right beside her as her wife.

The two brides were soon called to the center of the reception to cut the wedding cake together.

Angel and April stood close beside the beautiful cake while everyone gathered around them in a big circle, watching and cheering loudly as they cut the first slice together.

The cake was almost ridiculously large, but neither bride seemed to care about how much of it they would actually eat. They were more interested in enjoying the moment with everyone around them.

Angel picked up a small piece of cake and gently fed it to April, smiling as her bride happily took the sweet bite.

April smiled back before picking up another small piece and feeding Angel.

Everything was going completely perfectly until Katie suddenly decided to make things a little more mischievous.

She quickly grabbed some of the cream and smeared it right across April’s face.

April completely froze in shock.

Everyone around them burst into loud laughter.

Angel, however, seemed to deeply enjoy the situation.

She leaned closer and gladly licked the cream right off her Omega’s face.

The crowd immediately became even louder, cheering for them.

But the twins weren’t going to let Angel escape that easily.

They quickly grabbed a handful of cream and stuffed Angel’s entire face with it.

Angel stood there with cream fully covering her face while April stared at her, laughing hysterically.

For a moment, the Alpha bride looked completely defeated.

April eventually leaned in closer and started licking the cream off her Alpha’s face.

Everyone was busy laughing at the funny scene.

The Alpha and the Omega had effectively turned the simple cake-cutting ceremony into their own little comedy show.

Even the people who had been trying to behave properly during the formal part of the wedding were now laughing openly.

Once the cake ceremony was finally done, the reception moved on to the next tradition.

It was time for the classic bouquet toss.

April turned her back toward the crowd and threw her floral bouquet high behind her.

Everyone watched as the flowers flew through the air before landing directly in the open hands of Lola Martínez.

Lola looked down at the bouquet in surprise, then immediately looked at the person sitting right beside her.

It was CJ.

The Omega was casually snuggling her new prey.

Ever since CJ had helped Lola with the ice for her swollen eye, Lola had apparently decided that she wanted the Alpha singer.

No matter how much CJ tried to resist or hide from the persistent Omega, Lola always managed to find her wherever she went.

Not even CJ’s best friend Benny could save her from Lola’s tight grip.

At least the girl wouldn’t be disturbing the newlyweds ever again.

The bouquet toss itself had been completely harmless, but the reaction from Lola made everyone around her laugh even more.

After the bouquet toss, the brides officially took over the dance floor.

Angel and April began dancing together, showing off their own unique dance style.

The moment they started moving together, everyone went silent for a few seconds.

Then the crowd erupted in loud cheers.

They were actually incredibly good at it.

It looked like they had been practicing for many days.

Their movements matched surprisingly well, and the two of them seemed completely comfortable dancing together. Angel’s confidence mixed perfectly with April’s softer movements, making the whole thing surprisingly entertaining to watch.

The brides continued dancing together before eventually changing their shoes for fast tap dancing.

That was when everyone else decided to join them on the floor.

Soon, the entire field was filled with the loud sound of shoes tapping against the ground as the guests joined the happy newlyweds.

The dance floor quickly became crowded.

Family members, friends, and even people who had claimed earlier that they could not dance were now moving around with everyone else.

The reception continued with endless laughter, dancing, and different fun games.

Some games were for everyone to participate in, while others were specially prepared just for the newly married couple.

The evening seemed to move faster because there was always something happening. Whenever one activity ended, another one seemed to start.

Then Mr. January stepped forward to make an emotional speech for the brides.

He was followed by Paula and Lucinda, who also took turns saying a few sweet words to the newlyweds.

The atmosphere became much warmer during their speeches, especially when they spoke about how far Angel and April had come before finally standing together as wives.

Then Sabrina stood up to make her speech.

Unfortunately, her speech wasn’t exactly about congratulating the brides.

It was mostly about embarrassing the Alpha bride.

Sabrina started openly talking about Angel’s naughty past in front of everyone, happily exposing wild things Angel definitely didn’t want the entire wedding party to hear.

Angel’s face slowly changed as Sabrina continued spilling her naughty secrets.

At first, she looked confused.

Then she looked annoyed.

And eventually, she looked like she was mentally planning revenge.

Katie and Carlos eventually had to pull Sabrina back down into her chair because there were young kids at the party too.

"Don’t worry, I love the you right now, okay..." April whispered gently into her Alpha bride’s ear.

Angel glanced at her soft sweet face before turning her cold attention back to Sabrina.

"I never said anything bad on her wedding day. I am definitely going to get her back for this," Angel said, glaring heavily at her friend Sabrina.

The threat was enough to make some of the guests laugh because everyone knew Angel was probably serious.

Then it was Priesto’s turn to speak.

Priesto stood up, ready to make a speech, but the moment he noticed both of his mommies sitting nearby, he suddenly completely locked up.

He didn’t want his mother Lucinda correcting him or going on and on about every single word he said.

He might not have been a God-fearing man, but he was definitely a mommy-fearing son.

So Priesto decided that complete silence was probably the safest option for his life.

Then little June stood up, climbed the chair and gave the brides her own cute speech.

She even surprised everyone by bringing out old baby pictures of both Angel and April.

She had gotten Angel’s pictures directly from Angel’s Grandma Lucinda, who apparently had plenty of embarrassing memories saved away in her house.

The reception continued with loud laughter as everyone looked at the funny pictures of the brides long before they became the women standing in front of them today.

Some of the pictures were sweet, while others were so embarrassing that even Angel couldn’t hide her reaction.

April, on the other hand, seemed completely entertained by every single one.

Then a general video was shown on a large screen.

It had been edited by Sabrina and Carlos, showing Angel Then Versus Angel Now.

The video showed different funny moments from Angel’s younger, wilder years, followed by clips of the responsible woman she had become.

The entire reception watched, laughed, and reacted to all the memories on the screen.

Angel had gone from being a wild and troublesome young woman to someone who now had a wife, a family, and a completely different life waiting for her.

April watched the screen beside her, smiling as the memories continued playing.

It was strange seeing all those older moments after everything they had experienced together.

The video eventually reached its final moments, leaving the guests laughing and clapping once again.

By the time the late night finally came to an end, Angel and April had experienced almost everything a wedding reception could possibly offer.

The night was long and sweet for the two newlyweds.

And their wedding day was far from over in their memories.
