Raphael slowly retracted his claws.

But in the very next second, she watched the Demon curl his fingers into a fist, tapping her belly like he was knocking on a door.
“Coming to get you,” he whispered softly.
In an instant, his black claws slashed lightly. Blood mixed with cloudy fluid spilled onto the ground.
A mother’s soul-crushing scream echoed through the sky.
She watched helplessly as the child—only the size of a football—was lifted by two fingers, slowly raised above its mother’s head.
Then, the Demon threw his head back and opened his mouth wide.
“No! My child! My baby!” The heavily injured woman struggled wildly.
Even with her intestines pouring out of her belly, she didn’t hesitate for a second. She frantically slapped at Raphael’s arm with both hands.
But nothing could change what was coming.
With the sound of desperate chewing filling the air, the woman let out a heart-wrenching cry.
Raphael licked his fingers with a look of pure satisfaction and tossed the nearly dying woman aside.
A twisted, ecstatic smile spread across his face as he shouted, “Delicious! It was so delicious!”
“I’ve decided,” he added, rubbing his hands together in excitement, “I’ll start raising a whole herd of humans. That way, I can enjoy this incredible taste every single day.”
The pregnant woman left by the roadside collapsed, staring at her empty belly. She even reached out, frantically feeling around inside the open wound.
“My baby! My baby!”

As the blood kept flowing, she grew weaker and weaker, finally collapsing lifelessly onto the ground.

Victor’s eyes were red as he gripped his fists tightly.
His knuckles turned white from the pressure, and the veins on his wrists bulged out.
Victor gritted his teeth, his chest heaving as he spat out, “Fuck! You son of bitches!”
