Chapter 155: Cheryl’s Kiss, Back to the Sovereign City
Chapter 155: Chapter 155: Cheryl’s Kiss, Back to the Sovereign City
Like Rainn?
Aiden looked at Cheryl and felt very confused.
It was late at night, and she was sneaking around to ask him if he liked Rainn?
“You… you… never mind. Don’t answer. And don’t tell my sister,” Cheryl suddenly said.
She regretted asking that question.
In her mind, she thought, “What was I thinking? Why did I ask that?”
“What if Aiden really likes my sister?”
“What if he doesn’t? Then that would mean my sister isn’t attractive. That also sounds bad.”
“No, no, I shouldn’t ask. I’ll stop.”
Cheryl didn’t wait for Aiden to speak. She turned and ran away.
Aiden watched her back, still confused.
That silly Miko, what was she trying to do?
He didn’t think too much. He just closed the door of the small hut and lay back down.
He was about to fall asleep again, and then, once more, he heard light footsteps.
Aiden sighed and opened his eyes again. He stood up and said, “You…”
He didn’t finish his sentence. Cheryl suddenly looked up and kissed him.
Soft, not as soft as Rainn’s lips, but with a little more bounce.
Then, a small, flexible tongue came out. It gently touched Aiden’s teeth, exploring slowly.
“Cheryl’s tongue… it’s different from a human’s?”
Aiden instinctively reached out and wrapped his arms around Cheryl’s tiny waist.
He didn’t push his body against hers, but her big chest was already pressed against his chest.
“Ugh…” Cheryl felt like she had been shocked by electricity. Her whole body went numb and she couldn’t control herself—she wanted to move closer to Aiden.
Even more strange, her legs started moving on their own.
A wet feeling suddenly came over her body.
This was Cheryl’s first time feeling something like this. She couldn’t help opening her eyes and staring at Aiden.
When she saw that Aiden was awake, she suddenly stepped back. Her face was red, her eyes were foggy, and her legs felt weak.
“I… I didn’t mean to. I didn’t know what I was doing. I just… I just wanted to do it.”
“Sorry… sorry.” Cheryl looked down, looking confused and not knowing what to say.
After she left, she felt worse and worse.
This feeling was hard to describe. She couldn’t talk to her sister Rainn about it.
Cheryl thought that if her sister found out, it might cause some problems.
She couldn’t sleep, so she decided to take a walk. But as she walked, she ended up back at Aiden’s hut.
“Aiden, nothing happened today, right? You won’t tell my sister, will you?”
“Please…” Cheryl slowly looked up, begging.
Aiden looked at her face and nodded. But then he said,
“Okay, but first, tell me—do Miko have special tongues?”
Cheryl stopped for a moment, thought for a second, and quickly said,
“I think so. My sister told me about our origins, but I can’t remember exactly.”
“Our tongues have tiny bumps on them. They’re pointy and help us gather magic power quickly to cast spells that need chanting.”
Aiden heard this and felt a little surprised.
That’s why it felt strange when Cheryl used her tongue earlier.
“Are there any other differences? Oh, by the way, does your Miko group have something like a human kiss?” Aiden asked next.
Cheryl first looked down at her lower body, then shook her head. She didn’t have a kissing custom.
Then she quickly turned around and ran back to the other hut, like she was escaping.
“Kissing… your face mark was from your sister. That’s why I felt so bad inside,” Cheryl thought to herself.
She looked at the door of the hut and suddenly felt a little scared to go in.
“Why do I feel like I did something wrong to my sister? That’s weird.”
Cheryl quietly opened the door and slipped inside without making a sound. She tried not to make any noise, but as she turned around, her big chest hit the wooden wall.
Cheryl immediately covered her mouth, looking nervously at her sister on the bed.
Thankfully, she didn’t wake her up.
She carefully lay down by the edge of the bed and closed her eyes.
In the dark, Rainn’s eyelids twitched, then slowly opened. Her expression was confused and mixed up.
After a while, Cheryl’s breathing became even. She had fallen asleep.
Rainn let out a soft sigh, and Aiden’s face appeared in her mind.
…
The next day.
Aiden looked up at the dark sky, which felt strange. There was no sun here, unlike Earth.
He had slept for about six hours and woke up.
Rainn and Cheryl also came out of their hut. Cheryl stayed behind Rainn, looking a little nervous and not wanting to face Aiden.
Aiden couldn’t help but smile a little. Then he said, “Well, it’s time to say goodbye after all.”
“I hope next time we meet, we’ve both gotten stronger.”
Cheryl no longer hid. She stepped out from behind her sister Rainn and looked at Aiden with a sad, loving look.
Rainn stayed calm, but her tightly clenched hands showed her feelings.
“See you again,” Rainn said slowly.
Cheryl said, “Next time, I’ll be stronger. I won’t need you to go on a mission and draw enemies away anymore!”
Aiden nodded and waved his hand.
His body quickly disappeared. In the last second, he saw Rainn take an unconscious step forward.
“Sister, Aiden is gone,” Cheryl said, looking at the empty ground. She felt a strange sadness in her heart.
Rainn slowly looked up and stared at the dark sky. She said, “I know. We should go too.”
“Everyone has their own things to do. As long as we keep moving forward and getting stronger, we’ll meet Aiden again soon.”
“Let’s go.”
Earth, the Sovereign City, in a villa.
Aiden appeared in the bedroom. He immediately checked the surroundings.
Other than a clean new set of clothes on the bed, there was nothing else unusual.
This outfit was probably prepared by Lia. It was very thoughtful.
Aiden went into the bathroom and washed his face. He noticed that the water in the bathtub was still warm.
“A bath would relax my body, but maybe not today. I should go to the Reclasser Association and finish my mission first.”
After submitting the Class Change mission, he could wait for the Twin Coin’s bad luck effect to end, and then quickly get stronger.
Right now, his level was only 30. He had lost 10 levels when he used the Reverse Fate Sacrifice.
Aiden spent some experience points to raise his level back to 40.
For others, losing 10 levels was a big problem. But for him, it was no big deal at all.
He walked straight out of the bedroom and into the villa’s main hall.
Lia and the other maids were cleaning the place.
When they saw Aiden, Lia quickly put down her tools and rushed over. She spoke in a low voice.
“Mr. Aiden, Deputy Guildmaster Luke came by once. He told me to let you know when you got back.”
“Shall I call Deputy Guildmaster Luke now?”
Aiden looked at Lia and was happy with her.
She not only had everything ready in advance, but she also spoke in a way that showed she followed his orders more than Luke did.
“Never mind, I’ll call him myself.”
“Is there anything else?” Aiden asked.
Lia nodded quickly and said, “Miss Dora left the Sovereign City yesterday. She told me she has something important to do and doesn’t know when she’ll be back. She said not to worry.”
“Also, there are some rumors going around. Prince Henry left the royal prison.”
When Aiden heard this, his eyes narrowed slightly.
It was what he expected. After all, Henry was the brother of the Empress Eira. He wouldn’t stay in prison for long.
He pulled out his phone and called Luke.
They talked for a few minutes. Aiden said he would go to the Reclasser Association in the Sovereign City later. He could stop by the 33rd floor to see Luke on the way.
They agreed on a time, and then Aiden hung up.
He took out a few pieces of Starlight Rank materials and handed them to Lia.
“Good job. This is your reward.”
Lia’s breath suddenly became fast. The other maids, who were cleaning, also stopped what they were doing at the same time.
Starlight Rank materials!
That was Starlight Rank materials!
These maids worked hard all year, and without extra money, it was hard to even buy a Diamond Rank material.
But Aiden gave them a few Starlight Rank materials in one go!
This made the other maids look jealous, envious, and full of desire.
Lia took a few deep breaths, her hands shaking slightly as she took the materials.
“Thank you, Mr. Aiden.”
Aiden smiled. Lia was a good servant, a real professional. He should reward her.
A few Starlight Rank materials were worth it.
Aiden left the villa and flew directly to the entrance of the Reclasser Association in the Sovereign City.
He had just landed when he saw a two-headed bird, over three meters tall, fall from the sky.
And on the bird’s back was Prince Henry of the Great Shaw Empire!
It had only been a few days, but Henry looked much thinner and his face was even darker.
“Aiden! You finally came out! I was suffering in the royal prison these past days!” Henry said, clenching his teeth, his eyes full of anger.
