Chapter 203: Chapter 203: Dream Entanglement: If You Don’t Push Me Away, I’ll Take It as Your Silent Consent

Bai Ye stared into Yun Sheng’s eyes, as if trying to find an answer within them.

His fingers trembled slightly. The grip on her chin wasn’t heavy, but it left no room for refusal.

"Yun Sheng, you could have left. You could have pushed me away. You could have ignored me." He spoke each word distinctly, his voice low, as if in accusation. "But you didn’t. You stayed. You even..."

Bai Ye didn’t finish, as if he didn’t need an answer from Yun Sheng. He simply tightened his grip on her waist, lowered his head, and kissed her hard.

It was a scalding, savage kiss—one suppressed for far too long, held back by reason countless times, only to finally burst its banks.

Yun Sheng was caught off guard by his kiss and instinctively tried to retreat, but his hand held her lower back in a death grip, pressing her into his embrace.

His other hand gripped her chin, tilting it up slightly, forcing her to accept the deep, fierce kiss, as if he wanted to devour her whole.

His spiritual power went wild as well.

It no longer just coiled and enveloped; it invaded, desperate to merge every inch of her skin, every wisp of her breath, into its very blood and bone.

Yun Sheng was kissed until she couldn’t breathe, her mind a complete blank.

Her hands unconsciously crept up to his shoulders, her fingertips tightening. She didn’t know if she wanted to push him away or hold on to something.

Bai Ye kissed her for a long time, so long she almost thought she would suffocate, before he finally pulled back slightly.

His forehead rested against hers. His breath was hot and ragged, his chest heaving violently.

His eyes were still red. The desire churning within them hadn’t faded; on the contrary, it had grown even stronger.

"Since you’re not pushing me away, I’m going to take that as your silent consent." Bai Ye’s thumb brushed across Yun Sheng’s lips, which were slightly swollen from the kiss. "This time, I’m not letting go."

Yun Sheng was forced to look up at him, at his eyes that seemed about to be burned through by desire, at his hands that trembled despite his desperate attempt at control. Her heart melted completely.

"Bai Ye, I..."

She had just started to speak when his lips descended again, cutting her off.

It was as if Bai Ye didn’t dare let her finish, terrified of hearing her rejection once more. His movements grew more frantic.

He kissed her more fiercely, as if to crush her and swallow her whole, as if there were no tomorrow, carrying a madness that had been suppressed for too long.

Yun Sheng’s lips grew numb from the pressure, and the tip of her tongue stung slightly. But she could feel that, in this moment, Bai Ye seemed to be in even more turmoil than she was.

His hands gripped her waist, knuckles white and veins bulging. He was clearly using a great deal of force, yet he held himself in check, making sure not to hurt her.

She sighed softly to herself, closed her eyes, and allowed herself to drown in a tenderness she had no right to be in.

Bai Ye’s kisses slipped from her lips, tracing a path down her jaw to the pale skin of her neck.

His lips were scorching as they pressed against the thin skin there, grinding gently.

Yun Sheng’s hands clutched his collar, her body so limp it felt as if all her strength had been drained away.

His kisses continued downward, landing on her gently rising and falling collarbone. He peppered it with light, close-set pecks, branding a string of alluring red marks onto the porcelain-white skin.

Her consciousness began to blur. At that very moment, Bai Ye’s spiritual power was still tightly entangled with hers, wrapping her so completely there was no escape, each strand seeming to want to drag her deeper into blissful oblivion.

At some point, his fingers found the collar of her clothes and quickly undid the first button.

Yun Sheng’s eyelashes trembled violently. She lifted a hand instinctively, her fingertips barely grazing his wrist before stopping abruptly.

Just then, Bai Ye’s spiritual power surged, wrapping around her and continuously transferring energy to her.

That warm power, tinged with the lingering aura of Holy Light, flooded into her spiritual landscape.

It was too comfortable. So comfortable her fingertips went limp. So comfortable her mind went blank. So comfortable she almost forgot what she had been about to do.

Yun Sheng’s eyelashes were still trembling, but her fingers slowly relaxed, resting limply on his wrist, moving no further.

Bai Ye’s breathing grew heavier. He lowered his head and placed a kiss on the newly exposed skin just below her collarbone, as reverent as if he were kissing a priceless treasure.

The moment his lips landed, Yun Sheng’s body gave a slight shudder.

His lips, his fingertips, his spiritual power—every part of him was so hot it made her go weak.

Her consciousness grew hazier, and her heart pounded so fast it felt like it would leap out of her chest.

Button after button was undone. Her clothes fell open, then slid to the floor with a nearly inaudible sound.

Yun Sheng flinched instinctively. The scorching hand on her waist immediately tightened, pulling her forward until her entire body was pressed against his.

The proximity was so intense she could clearly feel the frantic beat of his heart, which felt like it was about to explode inside his chest. Thump after thump, it hammered against her own, making her feel numb.

"May I?"

Bai Ye’s voice, excessively low and hoarse, sounded again, as if it had taken all his strength to force out those two words.

Heat rushed to the tips of Yun Sheng’s ears. She lifted her misty eyes and simply gazed at him.

She didn’t answer, nor did she know how to.

Her rational mind told her to push him away, to pull herself out of this dream-like state and leave while she still could.

But in the next second, her spiritual power answered for her.

It suddenly went wild, intertwining more deeply and tightly with Bai Ye’s spiritual power, like two streams of water, separated for too long, finally merging into one, never to be parted again.

Bai Ye’s pupils contracted sharply. The hand that had been gripping her chin released it, slowly moving down to gently take hers, their fingers interlacing.

His fingers were long and strong, with well-defined knuckles, yet now they trembled slightly.

"Yun Sheng, when you’re clear-headed again, if you must blame someone, blame me. But rest assured, I’ll take care of what I promised you before I leave, before you return to the Capital Star. I won’t give you a chance to regret this!"

As soon as the words left his lips, Bai Ye’s kisses fell upon her again.

Down from her collarbone, they landed over her heart, along the edge of her ribs, on the delicate skin of her lower abdomen...

Every touch was so hot it made her tremble.

Yun Sheng couldn’t tell if the pleasurable sensations were coming from her body or from the depths of her spiritual landscape; she only knew that they wove together and completely submerged her.

Bai Ye lowered his head and glanced at her.

His crimson eyes were churning with so many emotions that she didn’t dare to look, yet couldn’t look away.

He slowly bent down, placed a feather-light kiss on the corner of her lips, and then his body covered hers.

Bai Ye’s movements were slow and restrained.

He was clearly on the verge of exploding with need, yet he was still afraid of making Yun Sheng uncomfortable.

His palm rested on her back, the pads of his fingers gently caressing her shoulder blades. The slightly calloused skin brushed against her delicate flesh, sending a fine, tingling numbness through her.

Yun Sheng’s brow, which had furrowed in pain, relaxed slightly.

But before she could fully release her breath, her fingers suddenly tightened, her nails digging hard into Bai Ye’s shoulders and back, leaving faint, crescent-shaped red marks.

Bai Ye noticed her reaction and paused, looking down at her. His crimson eyes were filled with tension and careful concern.

"Does it hurt?"

His voice was hoarse and trembling, his tone fraught with anxiety, as if he were the one in pain, not her.
